Heradi was unlucky enough to arrive just as Sordil was feeling down, so this convenient punching bag was thoroughly (and fiercely) used by the young master. The Kaba Symphony lasted a full fifteen minutes without stopping, until Seraf, worried that his master might be overworked, went to ask if he needed a substitute. This brought Old Suo out of his exhilarating trance and made him remember the purpose of his visit.

"Seraf, drag this thing up to the top of the mountain. I have something to discuss with you!"

"Yes!"

After stepping out of the gate, Old Suo shouted loudly towards the training ground, "Guard Brigade, listen to my command, get to the top of the mountain as quickly as possible!"

At Old Suo's command, the crowd practicing in the training ground immediately transformed into a torrent, rushing against the current towards the mountaintop.

"Kurelle, you shall immediately hand over your defenses and return to your units!"

Upon hearing the general's order, Kurelle and the other high-ranking officers trembled, then roared in unison, "Yes, sir!"

Immediately afterward, the Division Commander and Brigade Commander, their faces beaming with excitement, handed over their defensive duties and then eagerly went to catch up with the main force. After they left, Sordil and Seraf, dragging a door frame, followed. (Seraf didn't want to drag a door frame around, but he had no choice; Heradi was too fat and got stuck in the door frame, so he had to drag the frame along with him.)

Outside Yujite Canyon, in a jungle

A group of about thirty or forty giant dragons were searching through the jungle. One of the dragons spat out a fruit pit from its mouth and complained, "Pah! What bad luck! Everyone else is lying in their tents enjoying the warm sunshine, but we have to come here and crawl through the forest looking for food!"

"Alright, stop complaining! We may be working hard, but at least we can fill our stomachs!"

"That's true!"

"Boss, I heard that the enemy's forces are less than half ours. Why don't we just take them out in one go instead of dragging this out?"

"That's right! If we take care of them sooner, we won't have to worry about going hungry!"

"Not only will we not go hungry, we can also enjoy a delicious feast for all of us!"

"Yes!"

"That's right!"

"Hmph! Do you think the higher-ups aren't thinking of these things? Do you think Lord Delsd is willing to just sit here and wait? If it were that easy to defeat them, Lord Delsd would have already given the order to attack!"

Looking at their serious-looking leader, the dragons mustered their courage and asked, "Boss, with such obvious advantages, how come we can't beat those guys on the other side?"

"Alas! You are unaware of this, but there is an extremely formidable figure in the opposing camp. It was he who devised the treacherous scheme that left us all without food or water. Not only that, he also led his troops to circle around behind us, attacking supply convoys and cutting off our supply lines. Oh, and by the way, those two major battles that were launched not long ago were also his doing. If we don't find a way to eliminate this person, we will have no chance of defeating Ishgar. The reason Lord Delsd ordered us to remain in place is to discuss a feasible plan with Kelsu and the others to eliminate this dangerous entity."

"Oh, I see!"

"Tsk tsk! This guy is terrifying. Hopefully we don't run into him!"

"Damn it! Old Seven, what are you saying? Spit it out right now!"

"Ptooey! Ptooey! Ptooey!"

"Relax! This guy is probably thinking about how to defeat Kelsu and the others right now. He doesn't have time to bother with us little characters."

"Yes! Fourteen is right, we should be safe now!"

"Alright, let's stop discussing this. We should hurry up and finish the mission so we can get back to camp as soon as possible!"

"The boss is right, let's get started!"

"That's right, the main camp is the safest place!"

A chorus of agreement erupted from all around, and the group quickened their pace. Clearly, they were unwilling to gamble their lives on that unlikely possibility. However, fate is not something everyone can change, at least not these unfortunate fellows.

"Buzz!"

Just as they finished their discussion and before they could put their words into action, a huge gray-black Magic Array suddenly appeared beneath their feet, followed by a cloud of gray-black smoke that completely surrounded them.

"Cough cough! What is this? Why can't I breathe?"

"Ugh... my head is so dizzy!"

"Vomit!"

After they lost their ability to resist, a clear, cold shout came from the depths of the jungle.

"Quality Magic: Compression"

With a loud shout, a strange magical force enveloped all the lying dragons. The next second, the dragons shrank at a visible speed, until they were only the size of an adult. Just then, a large number of armed men appeared in the jungle. They quickly and orderly dispersed to the sides of the dragons in groups of three, then lifted them up at lightning speed and retreated in a common direction.

Looking at his companions returning to his side, Heradi scoffed, "Tch! These Evil Dragon from the Western Continent are nothing special, they were taken care of so easily!"

"Bang!"

"Hey! Boss, why are you treating me to Maruko again?"

"I'm just giving you a warning to prevent you from becoming blindly arrogant, underestimating the enemy, and neglecting your duties, which could cause us unnecessary losses!"

As someone who had just successfully lost weight, Heradi naturally didn't dare to contradict his boss, but he muttered to himself that he was still capable of doing it.

"I wasn't wrong, these dragons are easy to deal with!"

Alas! Underestimating your boss's or superior's hearing is the biggest mistake in the world, bar none. And so, poor Heradi paid a heavy price for it! (Alas! It's too tragic, I can't write anymore, so I'll omit 100,000 words here.) Just as this grand mixed music concert reached its climax, the soldiers who went to retrieve the bodies all returned to the two men's side.

"Boss, all the dragons have been gathered. Shouldn't we retreat?" (Elkley)

"Ah?"

After being reminded by the Reconnaissance Brigade, Sordil realized that his group had already completed their mission. He then stopped swinging his fists and feet, activated the Teleportation Array he had set up, and led everyone to retreat.

Chigengster Plains, Western Continent Camp

One day, as Kelsu processing documents in his Main army tent, Yanimus suddenly entered, stood before his desk, and whispered, "Lord Kelsu, the guests my Old Friend mentioned in his letter have arrived!"

"Oh? How many people?"

"They don't come in large numbers each time, about a thousand or so. After these few days, there should be three or four thousand members in the city now."

"Heh! I didn't expect them to actually send humans into battle, and they only sent such a small number!"

"Lord Kelsu, didn't my Old Friend say in his letter..."

"Haha! Yanimus, I admit that Prince Sordil is indeed powerful, but no one can break the ironclad rule that humans cannot harm dragons! So, you should forget about that matter and think about how to distribute those young, handsome men who can walk!"

Although Kelsu assured him that no one could break this ironclad rule, a sense of unease still lingered in Yanimus's heart. After all, Sordil had presented him with too many impossible miracles, proving to him that anything was possible. However, he wouldn't say these things in front of his superior; firstly, it was pointless, and secondly, it would bring him endless trouble.

After comforting his capable assistant, Kelsu suddenly remembered that he still had a difficult case to solve. So he turned around and asked, "Yanimus, have the people who went to search for food and scout the terrain returned?"

"Reporting to Kelsu, I have sent out several groups of people to search, but so far no one has returned."

Upon hearing this, Kelsu's heart skipped a beat. He suddenly felt as if he were sinking into a quagmire and being dragged into a bottomless abyss.

"Oh, by the way! Kelsu, I just received urgent reports from Lord Goodpes and Delsd that they have also experienced similar phenomena."

In an instant, a flash of lightning streaked through Kelsu's mind, perfectly connecting all these events.

"Damn it! We've fallen for the enemy's trap!"

Just as Kelsu finished speaking, a cry of surprise suddenly came from outside the tent.

"Kelsu, something terrible has happened! The search party has been attacked by the enemy!"

Hearing the exclamation, Yanimus quickly went outside the tent to check the situation. A moment later, he led in a giant dragon covered in blood and drenched in sweat.

"Kelsu, he was one of the members of the search party I sent out, and he said..."

Kelsu his hand to interrupt Yanimus, then said, "I've already heard and guessed, so you don't need to repeat it!"

"I never expected this! I was so careful, yet he still managed to find a loophole! (Kelsu)"

Seeing Kelsu constantly shaking his head and sighing, Yanimus suddenly realized something and asked in a low voice, "Lord Kelsu, do you mean that this was orchestrated by someone?"

"Hmph! Who else but that person could set up such an ingenious trap? Ironically, we obediently cooperated with them, contributing nearly a thousand combat personnel!"

"Kelsu, I am of limited ability and there is something I do not understand. Please enlighten me!"

"Speak!"

"If sending humans to the front lines was intended to lure us into sending troops, then why did they continue to send more humans after they had wiped out our own?"

"It's simple! First, it's to draw our attention and prevent us from discovering the conspiracy too early. Second, they have no more dragons to spare, so they can only use humans to fill the gaps."

"I see, thank you for your guidance, sir!"

"Alright, that concludes our discussion! Yanimus, go and prepare immediately. We'll launch an attack on Asia City first thing tomorrow morning. Let's tell that guy that our advantages aren't so easy to come by!"

"Yes, Your Majesty, I will prepare it immediately!"

After saying this, Yanimus led the wounded soldiers away from the camp, leaving Kelsu alone to ponder under the moon.
