The Mix-Up
After washing away the grime and fatigue with a hot bath, Sordil enjoyed a rare sweet dream until the sunlight shone through the curtains onto his eyelids, bringing him back to his senses.
"Splash!"
He drew back the curtains to enjoy the soft sunlight for a while before changing into his pajamas, ready to start a relaxing day.
"Call!"
"The air is so fresh, but life is so... terrible!"
Gazing at the drifting petals, someone who was marveling at the beauty of life was instantly pulled from their pleasant mental world and returned to the devastating reality.
"Oh no, I overslept!"
After complaining about his own absent-mindedness, Old Suo quickly finished washing up and then drove the express-speed teleportation vehicle to South Gate Park.
"Huh? Why is nobody here? Did I sleep for a whole day and night and completely miss the Cherry Blossom Festival?"
Just as this guy was talking to himself in the empty park, a long-lost voice suddenly came from behind him.
"Young Master, what are you doing here?"
"Sonia?"
Looking at the incredulous person, Sonia replied, puzzled, "It's me! Is there a problem?"
Upon hearing the other person's reply, he thought about it for a moment and realized that the other person's presence there was perfectly reasonable. So, he shook his head and turned to walk back towards the dormitory.
Seeing the dejected man, Sonia shook her head and prepared to continue her morning exercise. Just then, something suddenly popped into her mind, so she hurriedly called out to the front, "By the way, young master, the guild leader wants all of us to go to the guild to discuss how to hold tomorrow's Cherry Blossom Festival."
"Oh!"
The person who had just subconsciously finished answering suddenly stopped, widened their eyes, and then sprinted back at top speed.
"Sonia, what did you just say?"
After staring at Sordil, who was gripping her shoulders, for a few seconds, Sonia stammered and repeated, "The... guild leader wants all of us to go to the guild to discuss... discuss how to hold tomorrow's Cherry Blossom Festival."
After Sonia finished speaking, Old Suo turned his head to the side and pondered for a moment. Then, while shaking Sonia, he asked, "Sonia, what's the date today?"
"April 4th... April Number Four!"
"Number Four? Haha!"
"Today is the Number Four... Haha!"
Watching Sordil leave laughing, Sonia scratched her head and muttered, "Oh no, the young master's condition has worsened. I have to tell the madam this bad news right away."
As she spoke, she took out a communication crystal from her waist and began to channel magic into it.
Suo had no idea about any of this, because at that moment he was feeling fortunate to have returned a day early... well, besides that, he was also heading to the guild with his nose in the air (literally).
After walking the distance from South Gate Park to the guild, the person's excitement level was depleted, and they returned to normal.
"Squeak"
"Bang!"
As soon as he pushed open the door, before Old Suo could even speak, a wine glass flew through the air and landed on him.
As he fell to the ground, some faint murmurs of argument drifted through the noisy debate and into his ears.
"The tablecloth must be black and white checkered!"
"Are you kidding me? How can you choose black and white? Of course you have to choose pink!"
"We're going to see the flowers, not go on vacation. Do we really need to bring so much stuff?"
"That's precisely why we need to bring plenty of supplies, otherwise what if we don't have enough?"
"Of course you have to drink tea when you're admiring flowers, how can you bring alcohol?"
"Nonsense! Of course you have to drink wine when you're admiring flowers, how can you drink tea?"
"Thump!"
Upon hearing the sound coming from the doorway, the hall fell silent, and everyone's eyes turned to the source of the sound.
"Um... wasn't the Lazy God the one who just collapsed?"
"What do you mean 'similar'? It's exactly the same!"
"Holy crap! Who's got the nerve to plot against the Lazy God?!"
"I think you guys are the ones who don't value your lives, actually shouting out that name!"
"Damn! There's a murderous aura! Let's get out of here! Let's get out of here!"
After a brief period of calm, the hall, which had maintained a semblance of order, instantly descended into complete chaos.
In an instant, slippers and benches flew together, destruction and screaming went hand in hand. It was as if dark clouds were gathering overhead, and chaos reigned!
Just when the guild was about to collapse, Pangu... no! The guild leader appeared in time and used a Diamond Roar to quell the situation.
"Stop it, all of you!"
After stopping the group of mischievous children, Makarov shouted towards the gate, "Stop pretending to be dead, come and help us!"
Upon hearing the guild leader's order, the corpse immediately rose from its dead body.
"Boom!"
After removing the obstruction from his face and applying a healing spell, Old Suo quickly walked through the group of people destroying houses and arrived in front of the guild leader.
"President, what are your orders?"
"You should have learned Ouba's move by now, right?"
"I've learned it!"
"Alright! Let's use that trick to wake these idiots up!"
"Clear!"
After answering, Old Suo stepped forward and shouted to the crowd, "Spin!"
The next second, the people who were standing still began to spin uncontrollably.
Ah~~
Looking at the people spinning around in the hall, Makarov nodded in satisfaction.
"Let them wander around for half an hour. Come in with me, I need to discuss something with you!"
"Oh!"
After saying this, the two walked up to the second floor one after the other.
While Sordil and his group were busy preparing for the Cherry Blossom Festival, a major incident occurred in Philiers... well, that's not quite right, because it wasn't a major military or political event, but rather a family dispute. Actually, that's not quite right either; the correct term would be domestic violence. And the protagonist of the story was none other than the father of Sordil's newly taken-in third disciple—a good-for-nothing, a wayward, and irresponsible manager.
What exactly happened? Let's rewind a week and take a closer look!
A week earlier, on March 29th, Tang Di Cross returned to West City after finishing his visit, only to find his house empty and his father and son nowhere to be found.
Anxious and worried, Tang Di immediately ran out of the house and inquired about the whereabouts of his family. After some questioning, he obtained a letter left by his father from a neighbor.
After receiving the letter, he immediately tore off the cover and quickly glanced through its contents.
Only then did he learn that during his travels, his son had enrolled in compulsory magical education and, after passing rigorous examinations, had successfully entered the Royal Magic Academy. Even more excitingly, his son had been received by His Majesty the Emperor at the Royal Magic Academy's examination hall and confirmed that the His Majesty the Emperor the Your Highness the Prince his ancestors had spoken of. The reason the father and son were not at home was because they had been taken to live with the Your Highness the Prince in Philiers.
Upon learning of this situation, Tang Di did not hesitate at all, immediately packed his bags, and embarked on his journey to Philiers.
After a week-long journey, Tang Di finally arrived in Philiers, and then, following the address left in the letter, he found the Royal Magic Academy.
When he told the gatekeeper that he wanted to see Herder, the gatekeeper told him that Herder had been taken in as a student by His Majesty the Emperor and was living in the palace, and was not here.
Left with no other choice, he had to follow the guard's directions and head towards the palace.
Just as he was worrying about how to enter the palace, he happened to run into Herder, who was visiting the academy. The father and son chatted for a few minutes, and then Herder handed him a token, telling him to take it to his lodgings and wait for him. Considering his son's current status, Tang Di readily accepted the token and instructed his son to study hard and not disappoint the Prince.
After the father and son parted ways, Tang Di successfully entered the palace with the token in his hand and arrived at his new home under the guidance of a guard.
After thanking the guards, Tang Di pushed open the door and entered his new home.
The moment he stepped inside, Tang Di froze, because he realized that the middle-aged waiter tidying up the room looked exactly like his father when he was young.
After exclaiming, "The world is so big, there are so many wonders," Tang Di placed the package on the sofa and then ordered the middle-aged waiter to bring him a cup of coffee.
To his surprise, the other person snorted coldly at him and turned to walk out of the room.
Seeing this, Tang Di angrily shouted, "Do you know who I am?"
The other party didn't play by the rules; instead of asking about his identity, they asked him the same question in return.
After a few seconds of stunned silence, Tang Di sneered, "Heh! Of course you're a servant in the palace, or maybe my father?"
Upon hearing his words, the middle-aged waiter opposite him roared, "You bastard, if I'm not your father, who is!"
Tang Di, who had initially intended to let the matter drop, couldn't hold back any longer and charged at his opponent, fists swung. To his surprise, his opponent was incredibly strong, and before he could react, he was knocked down. Then, his opponent restrained him and proceeded to brutally beat his rear end.
"You bastard! When my son comes back, I will never let you get away with this!"
It would have been better if he hadn't said those words; after he did, the intensity of the attack intensified.
The commotion attracted everyone's attention, but when they saw the middle-aged waiter, they pretended not to have seen anything and turned to leave.
Upon seeing this, he instantly realized that the middle-aged waiter's identity was unusual, which made him feel a little panicked.
Just as he was trembling and enduring the humiliation, his savior appeared just in time, but before he could ask his son for help, the other party turned around and prepared to quietly leave.
Now... he was really panicked! Especially when he heard the conversation between the waiter and his son, he was so panicked that all he could feel was panic.
"Halt!" (Waiter)
"Grandpa, I didn't see anything, please continue!" (Herder)
"Hmph! You didn't see anything? Then why are you running away! (Solva)"
"Grandpa, this is a matter between you and your son, I can't interfere!" (Herder)
"Hmph! I didn't say you were going to do it. Come here! (Solva)"
Yes! (Herder)
"Hold his hand down for me, my right hand is tired, I need to switch to my left!" (Solva)
"Understood! (Herder)"
