Arc 5West City and Donagunov

Sordil crushed Langu’s rebellion, secured the Western Border Army, and led a peace delegation to Donagunov while pursuing Augmented Magic. The alliance treaty was signed, and Sordil remained in Donagunov to learn the magic and marry Irene.

  • Sordil finished the military exercises, named the First Division the main force, and learned that Diphiya’s peace delegation would travel to Donagunov with him.
  • Sordil lured Langu into West City, killed him after framing his forces as rebels, and forced Keith and Lischi to sign loyalty pacts.
  • Sordil staged Langu’s attack on West City, defeated the assault with reinforcements from So'oren and Harry, and entrusted the Western Border Army to Kurelle before departing.

Sordil pursued Augmented Magic, tried to bring Poison and Lightning Dragons into his experiment, and eventually absorbed Dragon Seeds from Yelibell and Grandiere. The arc ended with Igneel delivering the Thunder Dragon to Sordil after a chaotic card game.

  • Sordil secretly traveled between Donagunov and Fostadu, reunited with Igneel and Grandiere, and asked them to find Poison and Lightning Dragons for his experiment.
  • Sordil signed an alliance treaty between Donagunov and Philiers, which included Irene's planned wedding to Oddek, then traveled with Grandiere to find Yelibell.

  • Sordil experimented on Yesveta and the Dragon Kings, gaining multiple Dragon Slayer powers and moving Yesveta and Yelibell to the Dil'dixiu Mountain Range.
  • Sordil traveled to the Cuyis Tree Sea, gained four more transformations from Hadessta’s elders, and faced the group’s anger over his treatment of Grandiere.

  • Sordil and Irene married, but their celebration ended when the Western Continent’s dragons attacked Babaronza.
  • Sordil rescued survivor Katro, learned about the invaders’ strange sphere, and organized a search for the dragons using hidden Teleportation Arrays.
  • Sordil’s squad ambushed the dragons at Harbor Town, defeated several, and pursued Selisliu, who escaped before Glaide killed him and took his maps.
  • Sordil returned to Donagunov, briefed Irene and the alliance, and proposed using Teleportation Arrays to move reinforcements across Ishgar.
