Complex magic patterns and designs shifted continuously, taking on an entirely different shape every second!
"To die beneath the power of Super-Tier Magic is the greatest honor of your miserable lives. Even in death, remember it well."
Saphis Xoth spoke coldly. "This is the merciful Grace of the Supreme God-Kings!"
A gentle breeze blew.
Tang Zheng stood in the sky with his arms folded across his chest. His white priest's robe swayed lightly in the wind as he quietly waited for the Super-Tier Magic's casting time to pass.
Hearing Saphis Xoth still flatter him under such circumstances, Tang Zheng's eye twitched almost imperceptibly.
I know Saphis Xoth probably didn't mean anything by it, but that really was classic villain dialogue.
Tang Zheng had gradually gotten used to these NPCs, though a strange expression still appeared on his face. "The way he phrased that last line, if it had been in my previous life..."
"It was probably something like, 'I was only following orders; I had no choice.' The kind of excuse a villain's underling used to shift responsibility—while possibly leaking information."
He felt that was not a good habit.

"Saphis Xoth," Tang Zheng said.

During the activation of Super-Tier Magic, because of the long waiting period, the caster could move to a certain extent as long as he did not leave his original position.
