Biodata
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | Main God 2 |
| Nature | System entity capable of intelligent intervention, but also bound to fixed rules 38 |
| Affiliation | Main God Space; administers the Reincarnation Squads 2 223 |
| Occupation/Role | Recruits Reincarnators, assigns missions, evaluates teams, distributes rewards, and provides enhancement services 2 5 46 |
| First Appearance | A mysterious recruitment prompt appears in Chapter 1; explicitly named in Chapter 2 and physically depicted in Chapter 5 1 2 5 |
Appearance
- Manifests as a massive sphere of light suspended above the otherwise empty platform of Main God Space 5.
- Uses descending pillars of light to enhance Reincarnators, lifting recipients into the air during the process 7 173.
- Shines brilliantly when initiating world transfers; participants enter designated pillars of light 260.
- Communicates through mission displays on Reincarnator Wristwatches and a cold voice heard directly in participants’ minds 2 62.
Purpose and Behavior
The Main God drives Reincarnators to evolve through dangerous trials. Rewards are not simply payments for completing objectives: recipients must survive challenges that justify those rewards. In Resident Evil, both Uchiha Gen and his less powerful teammates face separate life-threatening encounters 5.
Its behavior combines adaptive intervention with rigid procedures. It can isolate an overwhelmingly powerful teammate to force others to develop, yet its fixed enhancement rules also allow Gen to devise a solution to Zhang Jie’s missing soul 38 39 164.
The system supports cooperation and newcomers through additional rewards. This does not make it protective: mission violations carry erasure penalties, and strong performance raises the difficulty of future scenarios 2 46 120.
Abilities & Services
Recruitment and World Transfer
The Main God brings participants from different worlds into the reincarnation system, including Uchiha Gen from the Naruto world 2.
- Transfers squads into film-based scenario worlds and returns them after mission completion 238 260.
- Provides temporary protective barriers at arrival locations before missions begin 62 157 223.
- Allows participants to exchange points for visits to previously accessible worlds, supporting training, research, and further missions 35 103 247.
- Sets a minimum exchanged visit of one day; Gen cannot purchase visits lasting only a few seconds 256.
- Restricts disclosure during Gen’s ninety-day return to Naruto: revealing Main God Space or failing to return to the designated departure location results in erasure of him and everything he possesses 74.
Mission Assignment and Enforcement
The Main God assigns main objectives, side missions, deadlines, rewards, and penalties. It can revise missions when scenario conditions change 205 273.
| Rule or Mechanism | Documented Example |
|---|---|
| Movement restriction | Newcomers in Resident Evil must remain within 100 meters of Matthew Addison or be erased 2. |
| Triggered side mission | Seeing a treasure map or a Buddha body part activates the Hanging Pavilion mission; failure costs each participant 10,000 points 205. |
| Future-storyline escalation | Entering The Mummy’s future storyline early raises difficulty to the maximum and triples rewards 157. |
| Intermission missions | Missions triggered during return visits between films have doubled difficulty and rewards 157. |
| Negative-point penalty | Reincarnators with negative Reward Points at the end of a horror-movie scenario are erased 236. |
| Mission revision | After the Righteous-Demonic War’s prerequisites are disrupted, the West Sea Team receives a new destination, survival objective, and deadline 273. |
- The system is repeatedly described as not issuing certain-death missions. Survival may depend on an escape objective, borrowing local forces, or avoiding stronger squads rather than defeating them 43 109 155 223.
- It can issue survival trials specifically to prevent a strong participant from assisting others, as with Gen’s ten-minute trial against Anubis’s divine incarnation 164.
Reward Distribution
The Main God awards Reward Points and ranked Side-Story Missions, also called sub-plots, for objectives, kills, assistance, and team-battle results 5 112 155.
Its evaluation system describes the stakes of ranked rewards as follows:
| Rank | Meaning |
|---|---|
| D | Simple 5 |
| C | Difficult 5 |
| B | Requires risking one’s life 5 |
| A | Death without a breakthrough 5 |
| S | A miracle 5 |
- Rewards assistance as well as finishing blows: a newcomer who draws Kayako into combat receives credit for helping defeat her 112.
- Provides additional support for teamwork and newcomers; Gen confirms this by comparing announced rewards with the team’s actual totals 120.
- In the documented Mummy team battle, each allied death reduces the team score by one, while each enemy kill adds one. The final score is multiplied by 2,000 to calculate the surviving members’ point reward 155.
- Offers Return to Origin once a participant’s Reward Points exceed 50,000, allowing departure for the safe real world 169.
Enhancement Exchange
The Main God exchanges rewards for bloodlines, supernatural abilities, cultivation methods, weapons, equipment, materials, and ordinary goods 7 37 51 173 220.
- Supplies mutated bloodline variants adapted to human physiology. Zheng Zha’s Troll enhancement does not fully transform him into a conventional monster 13.
- Can remove familiar bloodline weaknesses: its Vampire Baron enhancement retains vampire advantages without vulnerability to sunlight, silver, or garlic 54.
- Does not automatically grant complete mastery. Exchanged techniques and bloodlines still require training and sufficient Gene Lock development 68 102.
- Leaves some bloodline functions for Reincarnators to discover themselves 54.
- Charges full prices for high-level secret techniques and cultivation methods; the discounted human-creation exploit Gen checks for is unavailable 6.
Selected documented exchanges:
| Exchange | Cost | What It Provides |
|---|---|---|
| Moonlight Lamp | 1 Reward Point | Simulates moonlight, enabling Gen’s Great Ape Transformation 16. |
| Vampire Baron Bloodline | One Rank D sub-plot and 800 points | Mutated vampire bloodline without its conventional weaknesses 54. |
| Zanpakuto enhancement | One Rank B Side-Story Mission and 3,500 points | Basic Zanpakuto and elementary Shinigami Bloodline 39. |
| Troll enhancement | One Rank B Side Mission and 5,000 points | Physical enhancement, regeneration, and Berserking 13. |
| Eight Gates | One Rank A Side-Story Mission and 6,000 points | Technique access and minimum physical/chakra prerequisites; full use requires training 102. |
| Lightning Release Ninja Body Technique | One Rank A Side-Story Mission and 6,000 points | Technique access and minimum prerequisites, rather than immediate mastery 102. |
Restoration and Creation
The Main God can restore severely damaged bodies and create humans or replacement bodies 15 107 172.
- Its full-body restoration enables Gen to exploit the Saiyan Bloodline’s near-death recovery growth. After four years of training, one restoration raises his chakra reserves from 800 to 850 cal 107.
- Restores Luo Yinglong after he returns with only a trace of True Essence protecting his True Spirit 239.
- Grants each newcomer one free human creation; subsequent creations cost 500 points. Redeeming a created person additionally requires a Rank D sub-plot 15.
- Created humans possess souls, unlike the original Guide form of Zhang Jie 39.
- Creates vacant replacement bodies for Zhang Jie and Na’er, which Gen uses in his modified Impure World Reincarnation 172.
- Provides customizable rooms spanning dozens of kilometers, with adjustable terrain and multiple levels, as well as materialized objects for training and testing 16 43.
Evaluation and Team Management
Difficulty Scaling
Gen identifies three factors in the Main God’s team evaluation: displayed strength, Side Missions obtained, and exchanges purchased 46.
- Evaluation increases can be delayed. Growth from intermission score grinding is reflected in a later scheduled scenario rather than immediately in the next one 43 46.
- Strong performance produces stronger subsequent opponents, making it necessary for actual growth to outpace the team’s rating 46.
- Gen’s natural bloodline abilities and independently developed techniques remain outside the evaluation until he uses them during missions or score grinding 47.
- Zhang Jie inflates the Central Continent Team’s rating despite being restricted from acting as its primary combatant, raising difficulty while reducing the rewards available to the others 38 43.
- Gen interprets the increased participant count in Alien as evidence of drastically altered scenario difficulty; Zhang Jie warns that a fifteen-person mission may include unfamiliar monsters or plot developments 44.
Captains and Guides
The Main God creates Guides and controls captain certification 2 39.
- Zhang Jie is a Half-Guide and half-captain, formed from a Guide that inherited a Reincarnator’s memories and some permissions 39.
- His original personality is an information construct without a genuine soul, preventing ordinary Gene Lock development 39.
- Recognition of an outstanding newcomer can trigger certification, sacrificing Zhang Jie to grant the candidate First-Stage Gene Lock advancement and captain authority 2.
- Captains can obtain information about the next scenario. Gen and Zhang Jie communicate indirectly to avoid prematurely triggering the assessment 61.
- Three members with unlocked Gene Locks can make a squad eligible for team battles; insufficiently enhanced squads may first receive a monster-heavy scenario for score grinding 61.
Judgment Limitations
- Physical destruction can be counted as death even when survival remains possible. The system announces the Deity Team’s annihilation before Tianwang reconstructs his body and Luo Yinglong later returns with his True Spirit 236 239.
- Fixed exchange requirements can resolve system defects. Gen uses the soul-based requirements of the Zanpakuto enhancement to have the Main God supply Zhang Jie with the soul his Guide existence lacks 39 69.
- Low ratings do not guarantee efficient growth. The Devil Team’s breeding system keeps its rating low, but its low-risk worlds eventually leave Devil Zheng Zha facing substantial danger for limited rewards 265.
Relationships
- Uchiha Gen — Recruited from Naruto; studies reward calculations, delayed evaluation, and exchange rules to accelerate the Central Continent Team’s growth 2 39 46 120.
- Zhang Jie — Its created Half-Guide, subject to combat restrictions and potentially fatal captain certification. After resurrection, he reports that his former restrictions are gone and that he can activate the Gene Lock 2 38 39 172.
- Zheng Zha — Receives enhancements and rewards, but angrily condemns the system when it prevents Gen from helping against the Dragon Emperor 13 164 173.
- Chu Xuan — Uses its inexpensive advanced technological information and exchanged materials for research and equipment development 51 220.
- Deity Team — Recovers from near-annihilation through further scenarios and team battles deliberately arranged by the Main God 268.
- Reincarnation Squads — Subjects of its evaluation and matchmaking; arrival order within shared scenarios is treated as an indicator of relative assessed strength 223 270 272.
Story Role / Major Arcs
- Resident Evil: Establishes the recruitment, mission, reward, and human-creation systems. Separate monster encounters force both Gen and the other newcomers to earn their rewards through danger 2 5 15.
- Alien: Demonstrates delayed difficulty scaling and provides opportunities for further enhancement. Gen develops strategies to grow faster than the team’s evaluation 43 46 61 68.
- Zhang Jie’s survival: Its Zanpakuto exchange supplies the basis for preserving Zhang Jie’s soul; its created replacement bodies later enable his and Na’er’s resurrection 39 69 172.
- The Grudge: Increased rewards reveal its support for teamwork and newcomers 120.
- The Mummy: Separates Gen from the Dragon Emperor battle through Anubis’s trial, forcing the remaining Central Continent Team members to fight without him 164 165.
- Starship Troopers: Staggers squad arrivals and exposes weaknesses in its death accounting when the apparently annihilated Deity Team retains survivors 223 226 236 239.
- Wandering Earth: Offers a fifteen-year deadline and an unusually generous cultivation opportunity, despite a main reward of only 1,000 points 260.
- Shu Mountain: Brings several squads into a shared high-level world. Gen interprets their nearly simultaneous arrivals as deliberate balancing; disrupted storyline prerequisites subsequently cause mission revisions 270 273 274.
