Background / History

Qingluan Douluo is an Enshrined Elder of Martial Soul Hall and one of the younger members of its senior generation. He considers Qian Daoliu his “Big Brother,” while the other Enshrined Elders regard him as a favored younger brother. Though younger than Thousand Jun and Jiangmo Douluo, his strength places him above them in the Enshrined hierarchy. 30 32 36

He first encounters Shen Nuonuo in the Worship Hall while Qian Renxue eagerly asks him for a hug. During this meeting, Qingluan realizes that he can hear Nuonuo's unspoken inner thoughts. After Qian Renxue confirms that Qian Daoliu has accepted Nuonuo as his god-granddaughter, he welcomes her into the Elder Hall as his own granddaughter and gives her a black card. 4 5

As Nuonuo's future knowledge reveals the destruction of Martial Soul Hall, Qingluan becomes one of the Enshrined Elders who takes her warnings seriously. He reassures Qianjun Douluo that the foretold future can still be changed and later argues that Nuonuo is a good person and a “lucky star” for Martial Soul Hall. 27 52

He is deeply affectionate toward Qian Renxue, readily carrying her, teasing her gently, and showing a warm smile whenever she approaches him.
