Moriarty walked out of the Castle, followed by a large group of Little Snakes. On his left were the senior Little Snakes led by William and Leon; on his right were the junior Little Snakes led by Lilith, Marcus, and Jericho.

Following behind the Little Snakes was the Eternal Shine Fan Club led by Tonks and Gemma, made up of girls from all four Houses.

Behind them came most of the boys from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.

Several hundred people escorted Moriarty onto the lawn outside the Castle, where he stopped.

Crack!

A small patch of grass directly in front of Moriarty suddenly sank, forming a square hole. Moriarty planted the Slytherin staff inside it.

Moriarty looked up at the sun. It was not yet noon. Leaning on his staff, he waited quietly, his expression turning solemn and focused.

The students had no idea what was happening, but they followed Moriarty's lead and tensed their little faces. A solemn atmosphere quickly settled over the crowd.

Just then, Bill arrived with Headmaster Dumbledore. Old Dumbledore was dressed magnificently. A man who never wore gold or jewels had put on a crimson knight's uniform adorned with rubies and embroidered with golden trim!

Severus Snape and Professor McGonagall followed behind him...

Every teacher at Hogwarts had come! As though attending a grand ball, each of them wore formal robes and gowns as they stepped out of the Castle through the oak doors and approached Moriarty.

Bill quietly slipped into the Little Lions' ranks. When he had gone to the Headmaster's Office, he had discovered that all the professors were there, discussing what they should wear.

The students burst into admiring cheers and applause, while a question inevitably arose in their hearts: What day was it today?
