Quirrell stared, dumbfounded, at the shards of ice scattered across the ground. Blood flowed to his feet, and he jumped back as if electrocuted, pointing at the only vampire corpse on the ground. "You killed him with the Killing Curse! The Killing Curse? Merlin's beard, you're only twelve! Are you all right?"
Limping, he hopped over to Moriarty and reached out as if to pat Moriarty's head, but stopped when he felt that Moriarty would not welcome such an intimate gesture.
Although Quirrell had prepared himself mentally, the appearance of the Killing Curse still added a hint of fear to the way he looked at Moriarty.
At that moment, Moriarty received a notification from the system. "Detected that the host has killed eight vampires. Reward: 1,900 points."

Moriarty nodded to himself. Accumulating nearly twenty thousand points over a school year was an achievement worth celebrating.
With those points, he could exchange them for many Spells, such as the Occlumency and Legilimency he had long coveted.
Or he could unlock more system functions. The world of magic was full of treasures, with sign-ins everywhere!
Moriarty believed that once he unlocked the Sign-in Task, his wizard level would steadily rise.
