Gwen explained the danger of the Hyper-Evolution Factor to Choukai and Otto, who agreed not to investigate its essence and instead help develop ways to use it. That night, Gwen told Alicia that her support had helped him activate the power during the dangers in Kozukuri Town.

• Gwen warned Choukai that studying the Hyper-Evolution Factor too deeply could repeat the destruction of another civilization, and Choukai agreed to focus on using it.

Gwen used the Bow of Light in a desperate attack against the Herrscher of Finality while Eden and Mobius joined forces to weaken her barrier. The chapter left Eden facing Gwen’s outstretched hand as he attempted to save her.

• Gwen’s spear strike failed to penetrate the Herrscher of Finality’s barrier, and her power of restraint sharply weakened his energy.
• Mobius identified Gwen through the base’s instruments, but Number 17 refused to search the database because it was preparing the final plan.
• Gwen transformed into a giant and fired the Bow of Light, whose arrow overwhelmed Finality’s attacks but stalled against her barrier.

• Gwen seized Eden before the Herrscher of Finality's attack could engulf her, then escaped with her and part of Mobius using the Shield of Paraj.
• Gwen collapsed in the Main God Space, where Eden awakened and Mobius revealed herself as a small remnant of dark green gelatinous matter.

The three reached the vast platform before the city, where a giant waited across the way and the threat of spirit archers loomed.

• Gwen found no trace of the Dreg Heap and grew closer to Eden before Mobius awakened and teased them.
• Gwen shared information about the Dark Souls world with Eden and Mobius, then crossed the barrier into Anor Londo.

Midir, corrupted by the Abyss, attacked Phylannor’s bedchamber and shattered Gwen’s barrier, but Gwen arrived in his Giant of Light form and drove Midir away with a lightning-charged strike. As Gwen faced the Abyss, Phylannor recognized him as both Gwen and light, while Hila watched in shock.

• The Abyss corrupted Midir by overwhelming him with the wills of the living dead and drove him toward Phylannor’s bedchamber to break the seal.
• Gwen sensed danger and rushed back as Midir struck the bedchamber barrier a second time, shattering it and enveloping Phylannor and Hila in darkness.
• Gwen appeared in a radiant Silver Giant form and struck Midir with a golden-lightning punch, sending him crashing into Anor Londo.
• Phylannor identified the giant as Gwen and as light, while Hila struggled to believe what she was seeing.
