Whenever they let out mournful howls, mage Players suffered Mental Blows, causing the spell patterns they had been forming to become disrupted and their casting to be interrupted.

But the Players' defining trait was their fearlessness in the face of death.

Not being able to win was no problem. Creating gains for the team's "benefit pool" was what mattered.

With the War Glory system, warrior Players no longer feared death. They began actively choosing to sacrifice themselves, grabbing hold of enemies to create killing opportunities for their comrades.
