The next day.
When Rosen woke up, the first thing he did was focus his mind slightly. A line of text immediately appeared before his eyes.
Thousand Cherry Blossoms (Exclusive Skill): With your Heaven-Defying Comprehension, you comprehended this Exclusive Skill on your own by visualizing a Zanpakuto and combining it with the Weapon Fruit. With a single thought, one blade became thousands. (Requires the Weapon Fruit.)
Rosen withdrew his gaze.
This was the first time he truly realized just how amazing it was to have the Weapon Fruit as part of his transmigration.
Without the Weapon Fruit, even with Heaven-Defying Comprehension, he could only stare helplessly at the Exclusive Skill Thousand Cherry Blossoms after comprehending it. He would have no way to use it.
This skill had to be used together with the Weapon Fruit.
Without the Weapon Fruit, he simply could not create Thousand Cherry Blossoms with his own hands.
"The Weapon Fruit."
"So good."
After praising the Weapon Fruit once more, Rosen left the dormitory and followed the directions in his memories to the Navy School cafeteria for breakfast.
Aside from himself, he found quite a few others in the cafeteria.
There were Military Academy staff members, as well as students like him.
Ten minutes later.
Rosen got up and left the cafeteria, heading toward the teaching building. Quite a few students leaving the cafeteria walked alongside him.
However, they soon split off in different directions.
Navy School classes were not divided into Class One, Class Two, or Class Three. Instead, there were Ordinary Classes and Special Classes.
Among them, the Special Class was also called Zefa's class.
It was personally taught by the Navy School's Head Instructor, former Navy Admiral Zefa.
"Zefa's class?"
"The people in there are either geniuses or Devil Fruit Users."
"People really are born into different lives!"
Seeing Rosen head toward Zefa's class, quite a few ordinary class students could not help looking envious.
That was Zefa's class!
Though it did not have any special curriculum, whatever Zefa's class taught was also taught in the Ordinary Classes. The only difference was one guaranteed benefit.
After graduation, they were guaranteed the rank of colonel.
That was right.
As long as students who graduated from Zefa's class did not die unfortunately in battle, they would at minimum become Headquarters colonels.
That was the baseline. There was nothing lower.
Meanwhile.
Rosen arrived at the entrance to Zefa's class. Looking inside, he saw that quite a few people had already arrived.
He could even recognize several faces among them—familiar, yet unfamiliar.
A man smoking two cigars at once, with an arrogant and vicious-looking face.
A pink-haired beauty, heroic and confident.
"Smoker."
"Hina."
"And then there were..."
Rosen's gaze lingered briefly on the cigar-smoking man and the pink-haired woman before it was drawn to a tall man and woman, both with the height of Admirals.
The man had a capybara-like face and squinting eyes, giving off an air no less sleazy than Borsalino's.
The woman was beautiful, with a G-cup chest and a beauty mark at the corner of her mouth. Most striking of all were her legs, each longer than Hina was tall, yet they did not disrupt her proportions in the slightest.
Incidentally, Hina's bare height was 1.9 meters.
"Tokikake."
"Gion."
"The future Admiral Candidates."
Rosen withdrew his gaze and thought to himself.
He had not expected his classmates to be this impressive.
Two Admiral Candidates.
One Logia User.
And others whose names he could not identify.
This one class alone could sweep through nearly every pirate crew in the future, aside from the Four Emperors' crews.
Rosen was not the only one observing others. Gion, Tokikake, Smoker, and the rest in the classroom were also sizing up the people around them.
After all, they would be spending every day together for the next year.
Whether out of curiosity or caution, they naturally paid closer attention to those around them.
Not long after Rosen took his seat, several more students entered one after another, quickly filling all the remaining seats.
Suddenly.
A deafening bell rang out. Everyone in the classroom perked up, and then they heard footsteps by their ears.
From far to near.
Almost at the same time, everyone turned toward the classroom door.
There stood a man wearing a Justice Coat, his muscles like stone and his body like an iron tower.
His eyes flashed like lightning as he swept his gaze across the classroom, like a general inspecting his territory.
"Nice to meet you all. I am Zefa."
"You may call me Teacher Zefa or Instructor Zefa."
"For the next year, I will teach you how to become outstanding Marines."
After glancing over every student in the classroom, Zefa strode to the podium. Following a simple introduction, he made a startling declaration.
"Before that, you must first understand one thing: what kind of Marine can be called outstanding?"
"One with the physique of a monster, the will of steel, and Haki that surpasses everything."
"No matter what race you come from or whether you are Devil Fruit Users, only by possessing these qualities can you bear the weight of 'Absolute Justice.'"
He picked up a piece of chalk and wrote four powerful characters on the blackboard behind him.
Absolute Justice.
Then Zefa slammed his palm against the blackboard. His eyes widened, and a powerful aura like a mountain of corpses and sea of blood swept outward, making every student in the classroom pale and tense from head to toe.
"Is this the weight of a former Navy Admiral?"
Rosen's pupils contracted, and his heart shook.
At that moment, Zefa no longer seemed like a person in Rosen's eyes, but a monster standing at the pinnacle of the sea.
Even more terrifying was that this monster was staring hungrily at him.
"Physique and will cannot be built overnight. They can only be forged through day-and-night training and battle."
"So, the first lesson I will teach you today is Haki."
As a great man who had become a Navy Admiral through Physical Techniques and Haki, Zefa undoubtedly placed the utmost importance on Haki. His very first class was about Haki.
"What is Haki?"
"Haki is what lets you seize the body of a Logia User when facing their elemental transformation. Haki is what lets you suppress the abilities of Paramecia Users when facing their countless strange powers. Haki is what lets you fight Zoan Users with your fists and feet when facing physiques as monstrous as theirs."
"This Haki known as Armament Haki lies dormant within every one of your bodies. You were born with it; you simply have never realized it."
"What you need to do now is know it, find it, and then use it."
"Just like you command your hands and feet, turn Haki into one of your limbs."
As Zefa explained Armament Haki, he raised an arm and released streams of purple light that coiled around his fist.
With a sound like clashing metal, his fist hardened into black, as though he had put on an iron glove.
Seeing this, some furrowed their brows, some looked troubled, and some pondered seriously.
After explaining the method for awakening Armament Haki and sharing the experience he had summarized, Zefa stopped speaking. He merely crossed his arms and stood at the podium, silently observing every student's reactions.
"Know it."
"Find it."
"Use it."
Rosen muttered to himself as the image of Zefa using Armament Haki replayed endlessly in his mind.
Like a film, it played over and over again.
With your Heaven-Defying Comprehension, through Zefa's explanation of the essence of Haki and combined with the experiences of your past and present lives, you have comprehended the Exclusive Skill: Haki Supreme Art. Haki Supreme Art: Infuse your consciousness into Haki, allowing you to freely control the Haki within your body as you wish. Your control over Haki reaches a meticulous level. (Requires Heaven-Defying Comprehension.)
Suddenly.
A piece of information appeared in his mind.
Before you continue
