After returning to the dormitory, Xi Xiu voiced the doubts in her heart. "Fanhui, why have I never seen Shally and Corinne's husbands?"

Xue Fanhui was surprised that Xi Xiu would ask such a question.

"This is a girls' school. There won't be any men here. Shally and the others' husbands probably live within ten kilometers outside the Orphanage."

If all three matches proved unsatisfactory, the Central Brain would no longer force that person to marry, because it meant that person was unsuited for marriage and only suited to contributing to the Alliance.

The Alliance had only these two forms of marriage. There was no possibility of free love. When a marriage was registered, the husband and wife would undergo Gene Engraving. Once the Gene Engraving was complete, both spouses would be faithful to each other.

As for divorce in a matchmaking marriage, it was very, very difficult! In the thousands of years since the Central Brain began matching marriages, there had never been couples with major problems. Most lived fairly well, and their descendants were outstanding too.
