Background

Xi Xiu originated from a planet outside the known territories and star charts of both the Jingsu and Xianri Alliances. She and Li Zhengfeng came from the same planet but lived nearly a thousand years apart. Before arriving in the Jingsu Alliance, she died while saving the descendant of a benefactor; she was not yet thirty at the time. She had no family in her original world and regards her vastly extended lifespan in Jingsu as compensation for that premature death. 279

Wei Lanshan rescued and protected Xi Xiu during her escape, taught her how to survive in the Alliance, and placed her in Vivian’s care at the Ningkui Star orphanage under the identity of Hong Xixiu. Wei warned her to avoid drawing excessive attention until she could safely attend school on the Capital Star. 33

At the orphanage, Xi Xiu became Xue Fanhui’s roommate and later formed a close bond with Xue and Zhen. She trained relentlessly, adding two hours of Martial Skills and Mental Power practice to her daily routine while studying botany, robotics, programming, and nutrition. 34 55 75

Her friendship with Wu Jingxian began during a trip to Anvile. A Xian was drawn to Xi Xiu’s unusually calming aura, which was compatible with the Anvile People.
