Tang Yongyu pressed her lips together. Wei Lanshan was right. Even her husband was not qualified to stop the woman before her.
But Tang Yongyu was not one to admit defeat. "I will have guards accompany you. In twenty minutes, I hope Doctor Wei will return voluntarily. Otherwise, the guards will take measures you would not wish to see."
Wei Lanshan gave no response. Tang Yongyu was not important enough for her to offer further explanation.
Tang Yongyu had four guards follow behind Wei Lanshan. After Wei Lanshan crossed East District Three and reached the West District, she cut off the surveillance there and took the initiative to attack the four guards.
The guards were caught off guard. They had all underestimated Wei Lanshan's absolute strength and were wiped out by her.
Wei Lanshan went to where Subject 99 was held, opened all the transparent barriers in the laboratory, and let Subject 99 walk out.
She then put a Protective Suit on her and fitted her with a mask, preparing to take her away.
Wei Lanshan said anxiously, "99, stay close to me no matter what happens. Whatever you see, do not make a sound, and do not use your Mental Power. Do you understand?"
99 nodded solemnly. "Doctor, I understand."
There were too many people here. 99 did not dare use her thoughts—what Wei Lanshan called Mental Power—to probe what was happening. It was too risky.
