Sage Mode Stuns Everyone

Another Body Flicker Technique, and Senga arrived in front of the testing device.

This single move left everyone at the testing grounds dumbfounded. That speed alone made Senga the center of attention, and the test proctor's eyes went wide with shock.

"That speed? Is it Shave? Where did he learn that?" The proctor was stunned because Senga's instant movement move looked almost exactly like Shave from the Marine Six Styles.

"May I begin?" Ignoring the reactions around him, Senga asked the proctor.

"Ah, yes. Whenever you're ready, start, Uchiha Senga."

Receiving the signal to start, Senga closed his eyes. The Douri value was essentially tied to physical strength, and to maximize that strength, Senga prepared to use the Sage Mode he had learned in Naruto.

Senga's Sage Mode was from Ryuchi Cave. During his time outside Konoha, he had stayed with Orochimaru, who guided him to Ryuchi Cave to learn its Sage Mode. He had even made a breakthrough beyond the standard Ryuchi Cave Sage Mode, evolving toward the path of a dragon.

Under Sage Mode, Senga's physical body and sensory abilities were vastly enhanced. The power of his ninjutsu, and even his Rinnegan Dojutsu, multiplied several times over.

When he opened his eyes again, faint purple eye shadow appeared on his face, making his purple Rinnegan look even deeper. His entire aura underwent a dramatic transformation, as if he had merged with the surrounding environment.

Natural energy surged wildly toward Senga's right hand. He assumed a charging stance and muttered lowly, "Sage Art: Dragon Fist."

There was no grand spectacle. It looked like an ordinary straight punch aimed at the testing device.

"Boom!" Then came a deafening roar. The entire grounds were shrouded in dust and gravel as the testing device flew out from the smoke.

With a thud, the device hit the ground. The proctor hurried over to check it. The Seastone testing device was now covered in dense cracks, but fortunately, the display screen remained intact thanks to Senga's deliberate care.

Glancing at the number on the screen, the proctor froze in place. After a long moment, he stammered out the figure.

"Seven... 7200! Uchiha Senga's score is 7200!"

He practically shouted the last part, and the testing grounds erupted!

"7200? What kind of number is that? Even some high-ranking officers can't hit that!"

"Is the testing device broken? How is that possible?"

"Bastard! Didn't you see how busted the device is? And that's made of Seastone!"

The trainees who had stayed behind buzzed with heated discussion about Senga's performance.

Whoosh! Gion, hearing the commotion from outside, thought something urgent had happened and used Shave to rush into the grounds.

She found the dazed proctor and asked what was going on.

Seeing it was Vice Admiral Gion, the proctor quickly recounted the situation. Gion's face showed disbelief as she looked in surprise at Senga, still standing in the center of the grounds.

By now, Senga had exited Sage Mode. Seeing Gion enter, he walked over and said with a smile, "Sister Gion, I didn't let you down. My score should be decent."

You call that decent? Don't humblebrag, okay? Gion mentally ranted.

She gained a new understanding of her newly acknowledged little brother Senga—a total humblebragger.

Gion gave Senga a long, hard look. She knew that with this score, a lot of people at headquarters would be unable to sit still.

Sure enough, Senga's score quickly reached the ears of the higher-ups.

Sengoku was in his office, bickering with his old buddy Garp, when he received the news from the Training Camp. He froze in his seat, not even noticing he'd taken a "love tap" to the face.

Garp looked at his old friend in confusion, wondering why Sengoku had suddenly gone blank.

Sengoku whipped his head toward Garp, making him jump off the sofa. Just as Garp thought Sengoku was about to retaliate for that love tap, Sengoku spoke slowly, "Uchiha Senga scored 7200 in the Douri test."

"Nani??" Even the usually carefree Garp couldn't keep his composure at that number.

Wiping the grin off his face, Garp looked at Sengoku seriously and said, "Sengoku, you've really found a monster for the Marines this time!"

Sengoku nodded in agreement, wondering how Zephyr would react when he heard the news.
