The documented progression below follows Senga’s Rinnegan, which he awakened himself 1.

Appearance

• Senga’s original Rinnegan are deep purple, with concentric ripples; absorbed powers add black tomoe to the pattern 2 8 178.
• His completed pair has six tomoe in each eye 321.
• His later Golden Rinnegan have a sun-like golden pattern 375 379.

Abilities & Skills

Six Paths techniques

• Deva Path — Universal Pull draws targets toward Senga, while Shinra Tensei or Almighty Push repels them. He pulls a Sea King corpse from the water and later draws Golden Lion’s floating island toward the sea 2 91.
• Preta Path — Absorbs energy, Devil Fruit powers and, later, the Ten-Tails. Absorbing energy from Brand’s body alone does not yield his Devil Fruit ability; Senga first has to expose the power within Brand’s soul 8 291.
• Human Path — Extracts Brand’s soul, allowing Senga to locate and absorb the Devil Fruit power within it 8.
• Animal Path — Summons creatures, including Matatabi, whom Senga finds within his Rinnegan before summoning her 36.
• Puppet projection — Senga projects a Path ability into another person, giving the recipient a Rinnegan pattern. He grants Golden Lion the Deva Path without losing his own use of it 93.

Genjutsu

• Senga’s Rinnegan illusion overwhelms a Sea King’s mind and kills it. He later uses the technique to control nine Sea Kings and make them pull Fish-Man Island toward the surface 2 185.

Suppression

• Rinnegan·Suppression amplifies Senga’s newly awakened Conqueror’s Haki. Its blade-shaped shockwaves cut down giant trees and gouge the ground during his encounter with Rayleigh 46.

Time-based dōjutsu

• Year God Power — Accelerates a target’s time; Senga uses it to age and disperse one of Madara’s Limbo shadows. Earlier, Senga says he cannot yet reverse time because his left eye’s Pupil Power is incomplete 80 354.
• Inverse Year God Power — Rewinds selected people or objects within an area, with a stated limit of one hour. Senga uses it to restore damage at Marineford and revive fallen Marines without restoring the pirates alongside them 266.

Devil Fruit integration

• Absorbed Devil Fruit powers increase Senga’s Rinnegan Pupil Power and produce tomoe 8 47.
• Senga channels the Op-Op Fruit through his eyes, letting him lock onto a target by sight without hand signs. After becoming an Ōtsutsuki, he can use its teleportation without first deploying a ROOM 80 266.
• Rinnegan Pupil Power helps catalyze the awakening of his Rumble-Rumble Fruit, producing the destructive Purple Lightning Hell 101.

Golden Rinnegan

• The evolved eyes absorb Momoshiki and Urashiki into Senga’s pupils. At that point, Senga cannot sustain the form for long 375.
• Divine Silence directly erases Kongshi’s soul, leaving his body behind 379.

Other Wielders

• Uchiha Madara — Awakened his own Rinnegan and uses abilities including Almighty Push and his exclusive Limbo: Border Jail 351 352 354.
• Nagato / Pain — Possesses Madara’s Rinnegan. The six Pain bodies display its pattern and use its abilities, but Senga’s Twelve Tomoe Rinnegan overpowers Nagato and Madara together in a clash of Pupil Power 338 342 352 353.
• Chizuru — Her Rinnegan releases pressure strong enough to make nearby Marines collapse 166.

Trivia

• Senga’s Rinnegan are his own rather than transplanted. The narration states that his basic Six Paths techniques do not have a five-second cooldown and grow stronger with his chakra and physical strength 2.
• Rinnegan-patterned contact lenses become popular after Senga gains fame as Admiral Purple Kirin. A reported sighting of the lenses is enough to scare pirates away from a village 145.
