Zhao Zilong helped Spirit Hall seize control of Heaven Dou, then revived Xiao Wu while the King of Slaughter rallied escaped Evil Soul Masters against Spirit Hall. Tang San left for Sea God Island to pursue a new trial, while Zhao Zilong returned to Spirit City as the threat from the King of Slaughter grew.

• Yang Wudi and the clan leaders confronted Spirit Hall over their clansmen’s deaths as Qian Renxue attacked the Shrek teachers, and Tang Hao arrived to battle Zhao Zilong and Spirit Hall’s forces.
• Tang Hao defeated Ghost Douluo but was left severely weakened, while Zhao Zilong killed Flender and fought Tang San as Qian Renxue tried to seize Heaven Dou.
• Hu Liena’s forces killed Xue Ke and apparently Xue Ye, but Ye Lingling had accidentally saved the emperor, and Zhao Zilong killed Xue Beng during the retreat from Heaven Dou.
• Qian Renxue abandoned her failed mission and resolved to take the Angel God’s trial, while Tang Hao sent Yu Xiaogang to ask Bibi Dong how Tang San could use both Martial Souls.
• Zhao Zilong revived Xiao Wu at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eyes, and she returned as a six-year-old girl with the Soft Bone Rabbit and Blue Silver Emperor Martial Souls.
• The King of Slaughter rebuilt his forces after the destruction of the City of Slaughter and began attacking the Elephant Armor Sect, prompting Bibi Dong to warn Zhao Zilong that his escaped followers threatened Spirit Hall.
• Zhao Zilong returned to Spirit City with Xiao Wu and agreed to accompany Huo Wu to Blazing Fire City, while Tang San and his companions reached Sea God Island and accepted its dangerous trials.

Tang San and his companions received Sea God trials while Zhao Zilong recruited the Three Elements Cities' talents after their defeat at Thunder City. Bibi Dong sought help removing the Asura God King's Rule of Power, and she demanded the truth from Zhao Zilong after he suggested divine power could remove it.

• Tang San, Tang Hao, and their companions received Sea God trials, and Tang Hao accepted after Seahorse Douluo said a trial could regenerate his severed arm.
• Zhao Zilong and Yue Yao held back while the Three Elements City Alliance suffered a disastrous defeat against the Evil Soul Masters in Thunder City.
• Zhao Zilong gave Xiao Wu the Lovesick Heartbreak Red, and she reached level 26 after absorbing it and condensing her second soul ring.
• Zhao Zilong defeated Huo Wushuang, Feng Xiaotian, Shui Bing'er, and Shui Yue'er, and Feng Xiaotian agreed that the group would join Spirit Hall.
• Bibi Dong completed her Rakshasa God Eighth Exam and learned that her Ninth Exam required removing the Asura God King's Rule of Power.

Zhao Zilong became entangled with Bibi Dong while helping Spirit Hall destroy the Clear Sky Sect and later learned that Bibi Dong was pregnant. As Spirit Hall prepared for its next moves against Tang San, Qian Renxue joined Zhao Zilong to face the King of Slaughter and challenged him to a full-strength fight.

• Bibi Dong kept Zhao Zilong from leaving for Sea God Island, then revealed how the gods’ powers had distorted her feelings and accepted his promise to help with her trials.
• Zhao Zilong wrote Bibi Dong a manuscript revealing Tang San’s possible future, and Bibi Dong decided Spirit Hall should attack the Clear Sky Sect before the Seven Great Sects election.
• Bibi Dong discovered she was pregnant and led Spirit Hall’s campaign against the Clear Sky Sect, using Zhao Zilong’s Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud to bypass its defenses.
• Bibi Dong defeated Tang Xiao, and Spirit Hall killed the Clear Sky Sect’s 1,877 disciples before leaving with heavy losses.

Zhao Zilong and Qian Renxue defeated the King of Slaughter, revealing Tang Chen beneath the possession, while Zhao Zilong received an Asura God trial that transported him to the world of The Legend of Qin. There, he reached Xinzheng and challenged Wei Zhuang, ending the stretch with Wei Zhuang defeated at spearpoint.

• Qian Renxue wounded Zhao Zilong during their spar, and Zhao Zilong’s Killing Intent surged after she demanded that he stop holding back.
• Bibi Dong accompanied Zhao Zilong to Death Canyon, where he killed the Abyssal Demon, absorbed its Hundred Thousand Year Spirit Ring, and gained Soul Power levels before receiving the Sea God’s fourth exam.
• Zhao Zilong and Qian Renxue confronted the King of Slaughter, and Qian Renxue created an opening that let Zhao Zilong incapacitate him.
• The King of Slaughter’s markings vanished to reveal Tang Chen, but the Asura God rescued him before Bibi Dong could kill him.
• Tang Chen reunited with Bo Saixi, Tang Hao, and Tang San on Sea God Island, then revealed his possession and offered Tang Hao a chance to wield the Asura Demon Sword.
• The Asura God sent Zhao Zilong to The Legend of Qin, sealed most of his Douluo abilities, and tasked him with killing Ji Wuye and exposing his crimes.
