History

Qian Daoliu is the patriarch of the Qian family’s Angel lineage, the Angel God's High Priest, and Spirit Hall's Grand Venerable. He personally raises Qian Renxin and Qian Renxue in the Worship Hall, assuring them that no one can harm them while he is present. He views Qian Renxue's awakening of the Six-winged Angel Martial Soul as the long-awaited chance for the Qian family to produce an Angel God successor. 1 2

During Qian Renxin's awakening, Daoliu initially hopes for a second Six-winged Angel inheritor. When Renxin’s opposing divine and demonic powers violently collide, Daoliu uses his Angel power to shield his grandson rather than abandoning the unstable awakening. He later recognizes the descent of black and red divine power as a dual divine inheritance and confirms that Renxin has reached Innate Level Thirty spirit power. 2 3 4

Qian Daoliu is aware of the Angel inheritance's fatal condition: the High Priest must be sacrificed for its full completion. He keeps the matter from Qian Renxue, while Qian Renxin resolves to find another path before his grandfather can be lost to the inheritance. 6

As Renxin grows, Daoliu supports his expeditions and accepts the unusual allies and resources his grandson brings to Spirit Hall. He distributes Renxin's Immortal Herbs among the Venerables, accepts the Soft Bone Rabbit as part of Spirit Hall despite her soul beast identity, and praises Renxin's generosity as exceeding Qian Xunji's promise. 27 28

Renxin later attempts to improve Daoliu through the Soul Core system. Their first attempt fails when the unstable dual cores explode inside Daoliu, but he recovers and allows Renxin to continue experimenting. After Renxin practices on Xiao An, Daoliu successfully condenses complementary Light and Fire Soul Cores, restoring his former vigor and multiplying his combat strength. 83 84 90

With his new power, Daoliu leads Spirit Hall's assault on the City of Slaughter. He suppresses the Slaughter King's evil power, frees Tang Chen from the Blood-red Nine-headed Bat King's control, and defeats his old rival in their final duel. He spares Tang Chen and receives the Shura Blood Sword in gratitude. 91 92

During Spirit Hall's campaign in the Star Dou Great Forest, Daoliu protects Qian Renxin while he absorbs the Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear's soul ring. He confronts Di Tian directly with the Angel Sacred Sword and Angel True Fire Domain, but is gradually pushed back until the God of Evil intervenes against Di Tian's Dragon God Claw. 98 99 100

Personality

Qian Daoliu is deeply protective of his family, particularly Qian Renxin and Qian Renxue. His confidence in his own strength is matched by genuine affection: he reassures the children during their awakening, indulges Qian Renxue's wish to travel, and repeatedly expresses pride in Renxin's achievements. 1 27 40
