Background / History

Bibi Dong was subjected to Qian Xunji's control within Spirit Hall and regarded by him as a means of producing powerful heirs. She bore Qian Renxin and Qian Renxue, but her hatred for Qian Xunji and the trauma associated with the Angel Clan initially left her emotionally distant from both children. Though she retained maternal feelings, she avoided Qian Renxue and barely interacted with either child. 1 30 31

She possessed the rare talent of Twin Martial Souls: the Death Spider Emperor and Soul Devouring Spider Emperor. During earlier training in the City of Slaughter, the Rakshasa God planted a strand of divine thought in her spiritual sea; in her most desperate period, her inner darkness was ignited and she was acknowledged as the deity's inheritor. Her Rakshasa inheritance initially remained inaccessible because its first condition was to devour an Angel inheritor. 2 3 7 31

Qian Renxin confronted her over the Rakshasa God's influence and negotiated an alternative: he would open the Rakshasa Secret Realm and help raise her cultivation if she abandoned her revenge against Qian Xunji and devoted herself to her children and Spirit Hall. After accepting, she received Qian Renxin's Power of Goodness, which suppressed much of her wicked thoughts and eased the emotional burden she had carried. 31

The Rakshasa God, pressured by Qian Renxin, changed Bibi Dong's initial assessment from devouring an Angel descendant to killing the Shura inheritor and opened the Rakshasa Secret Realm early. Qian Renxin exposes Bibi Dong's connection to the Rakshasa God, convinces her to abandon revenge, and uses the Power of Goodness to suppress her malicious thoughts. He then forces the Rakshasa God to open her secret realm and revise her assessment. This begins Bibi Dong's emotional recovery and reconciliation with both children. 31 32 33
