Kariya confronted Tokiomi at the Tohsaka mansion and attacked with his insect swarm, but Tokiomi’s flames began burning it away.

• At the port, Jeanne found that the monster’s mental contamination was driving the Archers toward madness, while Command Spells had little effect near the creature.
• Matou Kariya left the battle with Berserker and learned from Assassin of the Black Faction that the contract with Matou Zouken might not prevent Kariya from attacking Tohsaka Tokiomi personally.
