Wang Wu survived West Mountain’s destruction and fled human hunters and demon rivals while escorting young demons toward the Black Forest. After years of secret cultivation underground, he inherited the Bear Demon Emperor’s bloodline and set out to learn about Heavenly Dao Mountain and the Demon Race Academy.

Arc 5The Hidden Tree Root

Wang Wu joined Niu Aihua and Zhu Wuhua, pursued Plant Demon Soldier status, and uncovered a human cultivator base beneath West Mountain. After defeating the cultivators and growing stronger in the trapped formation, he reunited with his brothers and began preparing for winter and a journey west.

  • Wang Wu killed Bai Da Tou from inside its body, ate its heart, and met Zhu Wuhua and Niu Aihua, who revealed their revenge against the Myriad Demon Alliance and named him their sworn brother Xiong Lianhua.
  • Niu Aihua led Wang Wu and Zhu Wuhua to Grandpa Tree’s temple, where the Little Tree Spirit gave them green-leaf tokens and an assessment opportunity on West Mountain.

  • Wang Wu tempered his claw on the Mysterious Iron Urn, evolved his bloodline through Fire Toxin Resistance, and began cultivating a Ninth-Rank Destined Demonic Weapon.
  • Wang Wu killed the Great Illusion King Worm, gained its toxin resistance and soul essence, and discovered its hide carried Wolf Extinguisher’s mark.

The arc left Wang Wu scouting with Wolf Bu'er after the demons defeated a human hunting party and regrouped in a concealed hollow.

  • Wang Wu survived the battlefield with help from Old Ox's sister, Old Ox, and Little Mountain Pig, then learned that Lu Wuchen had slaughtered demons to prevent their bloodlines from producing future Demon Emperors.
  • Wang Wu joined Ape Bupuo's secret team escorting young demons toward the Black Forest, and his Companion Demonic Vine grew stronger as he tested it on his companions.
  • Wang Wu refined his vitality, advanced his Companion Demonic Vine to a fifth-rank sapling, and traveled with the team into a forbidden ground to capture Bear Twelve.

  • Wang Wu escaped Uncle Song’s tree prison after Wolf Bu’er’s trap, fled south, and entered Sky Pit City, where he survived a Blood Mosquito attack.
  • Wang Wu made a deal with She Caihua for Demon King-grade venom and used his new cave residence to cultivate and experiment with spirit pills and stealth spells.
