• Wang Wu slipped through the Human blockade and learned from A Qing that Bear Mom had placed the Snake Guard Mark on him before her essence soul vanished.
• Wang Wu endured and cured the Evil Wind Bone Plague, then met Old Man Sha, Big Black Pig, and Old Turtle in Shamen Village.

After a toxin-induced vision revealed that Wang Wu’s human identity was the secret troubling his Danger Sense, they settled among displaced demonfolk and began planning their next steps.

• Wang Wu absorbed the Snow Wolf General’s demon core, survived a bloodline clash and the Pale Fire, and helped her recover before they crossed the North Sea together.
• Wang Wu and the Snow Wolf General reached the Western Wilderness, met Li Da’s fishing family, and agreed to help them break the Infant Cry Curse.
• The Snow Wolf General used Snake Nineteen’s demon core to strengthen her Wolf’s Gaze, and she and Wang Wu confronted the Witch Demon beneath the seabed altar.
