He smiled mysteriously. "There were four Veyrons in the home garage. One was sold to your Uncle Hunter, who runs hotels, one to the Duke of Cornwall, one to James Dyson, the founder of Dyson, and the last one was bought by Sirius Black for one ton of gold."

"What!?" Vincent nearly bit his tongue. "Dad, did I hear that right? How much gold?"

Eric held up one finger. "One ton."

Vincent sharply sucked in a breath.

At current gold prices, one ton of gold was worth roughly five million pounds, or nearly eleven million dollars.
