After a self-sufficient lunch, Hagrid took the lead.
The group formed four columns, one for each House.
McGonagall walked near the twins, occasionally surveying the dense forest around them.
The centaurs' territory lay to the left, while the Acromantulas' hunting grounds were to the right.
"Gu Gu—" Gu Gu in Vincent's arms seemed to sense something.
Hagrid, up ahead, raised a huge hand to signal for all the students to stop.
A massive black figure came running toward him from the distance.
Three huge heads with lolling tongues, its body covered in grimy black fur.
Fluffy pounced on Hagrid, sending a large glob of drool splattering down.
"Whoa, whoa—easy there, little guy—"
The instant Draco saw it, he hid beneath a massive tree nearby.
Quite a few students reacted the same way, including some seventh-years at the front.
Fred and George both craned their necks to greet Fluffy.
"Hey, cutie~ How have you been lately?"
Fluffy, lying on his back, completely ignored the two of them.
Hagrid stretched out a huge hand and vigorously rubbed his belly.
"Relax, Fluffy's very well-behaved."
Vincent was the only student who walked over.
It was because Gu Gu had said it knew Fluffy well.
And that was indeed the case.
The moment Fluffy's middle head saw Gu Gu, he immediately rolled over and stood up.
He crouched back and sat on the ground with his tongue hanging out.
The sight left Hagrid rather depressed.
It seemed that there wasn't a single animal that had stayed in the castle that Gu Gu didn't know.
"Gu—"
"Awoo—"
Vincent released Gu Gu. "Remember to come back before dark."
"Gu Gu—" It hopped onto Fluffy's middle head.
The two magical creatures seemed to be going on an outing as well.
"Go on, little guys!" Hagrid waved them off.
