Harry's Backing

After the first History of Magic class ended, Harry shuffled out of the classroom listlessly and received a message from his godfather, Sirius Black.

"Come find me after class."

After letting Ron know, Harry went alone to a corner of the corridor.

When Sirius saw his aggrieved little face, the anger that had only just subsided instantly surged back up.

"I just went to the Ministry of Magic. This morning's false news has already been taken down."

Harry's face brightened, but he quickly became guilty again. "I'm sorry, Godfather. I caused you trouble."

Sirius looked at him with exceptionally gentle eyes. "How could this be trouble? Someone is deliberately targeting you and smearing you. We should fight back with everything we have."

Harry froze for a moment before breaking into a huge smile.

Having someone to back him up felt wonderful.

"Godfather, everyone says Old Malfoy is behind this. Are you going to deal with him next?"

"Of course." Sirius smiled as well. "Malfoy is only relying on the few Gold Galleons in his hands and his connections with a few minor figures. I'll deal with them properly."

He seemed unwilling to let Harry know the truth, and he had already intended to deal with the Malfoy family properly anyway.

Secretly replacing the article—wasn't that meant to provoke a conflict between them?

There was no need to stir things up at all. Sirius and his cousin Narcissa had never had a particularly good relationship, and that so-called cousin of his was always targeting Harry at school.

He definitely would not go easy on the Malfoy family.
