Lunch today was actually Indian food!
As long as it wasn't made by Indians, there was really nothing wrong with eating it.
After two or three bites of curry, an argument broke out outside.
Vincent turned around curiously and saw Harry, Ron, and a very tall Auror.
That Auror looked somewhat familiar. He seemed to be Wales, the one who was always watching Vincent.
He was carrying something in his hand, and Ron was so agitated that his face had turned red.
Vincent picked up a napkin, wiped his mouth, and got up to walk over.
"This thing was hiding in a secret passage on the fourth floor. How could an ordinary rat possibly have the strength to push that mirror aside?"
"It's not a thing! It's my missing pet rat, Scabbers!"
"Even so, it still has to undergo our detailed inspection."
"No, it must have had a terrible few months. Look how thin it's become."
Scabbers, who had been missing for months, had finally been found?
Not just Vincent—most of the students gathered around.
"Squeak, squeak, squeak—" Scabbers let out a miserable cry.
Wales was no longer holding it by its tail. Instead, he gripped it tightly in his palm.
Scabbers struggled to wriggle free, but Wales remained as stern as ever. "Our mission is to thoroughly search the castle. Any suspicious item we discover must be confiscated."
The veins on Ron's neck bulged with anger.
Scabbers was clearly resisting because it was being held too uncomfortably. Did this Auror not have even the slightest bit of compassion?
He wouldn't listen to reason and only followed rules to the letter. He was every bit as revolting as Snape.
Harry was far calmer than Ron, but his expression was no better. "Mr. Auror, Ron is Scabbers's owner. He should have
