The British Ministry of Magic Let Everyone Down Again

Everything made sense now.

During the Quidditch World Cup, the Death Eaters had taken someone away from the stadium.

The Ministry of Magic had investigated for over half a year without finding out who it was, because nobody had gone missing. He had been replaced.

In the stands, Hermione kept herself as calm as possible, her eyes occasionally sweeping over the Aurors standing guard.

They, including those in the lake, were all suspects.

And looking at the worst possibility, would catching one of them really solve anything?
