Barty Crouch returned with Bagman not long after leaving.

There was nothing wrong with the broadcast equipment; it was the cameras at the bottom of the lake that had malfunctioned.

Destroying thirteen hidden cameras simultaneously was difficult enough just to locate them all, let alone at the bottom of the lake under such intense water pressure. This was not something an ordinary wizard could accomplish.

If even the strongest wizard could not do it, how could Karkaroff have managed it?
