A massive Flying Machine stood on the smooth stone-paved ground, more than two meters tall with a wingspan nearly seven meters wide.
No, calling it a Flying Machine was perhaps not quite appropriate, because it looked far too crude. It was nothing more than a framework built from wood and steel, its joints tightly lashed with cowhide rope, with a layer of canvas made from Camel Beast Leather stretched over the frame.
