Necessary Preparations Before Leaving

After finishing the simple plan to skip class, Aaron breathed a sigh of relief.

However, things can change unexpectedly, so we need to prepare some necessities before leaving.

Thinking of this, Aaron looked at Abei and carefully examined its pocket. The silly and cute Holy Dragon instantly sensed a great crisis; it had a premonition that it was going to lose money.

"Come over!"

Abei shook his head, clutched his pocket, and slowly backed away, showing particular resistance.

"How did I end up raising such a possessive dragon!" Aaron rolled his eyes in exasperation. "Don't worry, I'm not interested in your food. I just want to stuff more things into your pockets."

Abei subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief. Aaron, as the master, always held the highest position in his heart. If Aaron wanted him to painstakingly save up his own little treasury, it would be really hard to refuse.

Aaron looked at the somewhat uneasy Abei, pushed aside the dragon's claws that were clutching its belly, and left the coins like Gold Galleons, Silver Sickle, and Copper Knut inside. As for all the snacks, he poured them all out, leaving nothing behind, and piled them up on the bed.

Tsk tsk tsk!

"You're really something! This stuff is enough for an average person to eat for ten days!"

Abei lay on top of the pile of snacks, held up two fingers, and uttered in a low, guttural voice, "Only enough for me for two days."

"Foodie!"

Aaron picked it up and hesitated for a few seconds. "You can only keep half of these things."

Dragon Language: No, I can't bear to part with you.

"We're running away from home, so we need to bring more useful things," Aaron explained earnestly.

The Undetectable Extension Charm can indeed expand space, but its capacity is limited. Therefore, he must clear out some unimportant items and put in more valuable ones.

Abei was still a little reluctant, but Aaron didn't care and carried it out of the bedroom.

Arriving at an ordinary warehouse, Aaron turned on the light and rummaged through it for a while before placing four packages of different sizes in front of Abei.

"Do you understand what you're supposed to do?" Aaron asked seriously.

Abei nodded somewhat reluctantly, picked up a package and tried to stuff it into his pocket, but the funny thing was that he struggled for a long time and still couldn't get it in.

"Sigh! These packages are too big to just stuff in." Aaron was both amused and exasperated, but decided to do it himself.

He opened the first package, which contained an exquisite tent. He unpacked the accessories one by one and put them into Abei's pocket.

The first package contained a set of clothes. One essential step in running away is changing clothes; this will slightly reduce the chances of being discovered.

If he goes missing, Jeans someone to inquire about him, they will definitely describe what clothes he is wearing, what pets he is with, what the pets are like, and so on.

What he needs to do now is to visually deceive the enemy. If it weren't for the fact that the conditions and time don't allow it, he would even like to put on some makeup and wear some height-increasing insoles.

The third package was just an ordinary Backpack, which he prepared for Abei, since it would be quite conspicuous to walk down the street with a cute pet.

Finally, Aaron took a deep breath and slowly unzipped the first package, revealing a golden light to the two of them.

Abei, who had initially dismissed the bills with disdain, was immediately drawn to them. Seeing the several Galleon and the thick stack of pounds, he beamed with joy.

"This is my first pot of gold in my life!"

Aaron looked at the package with some emotion. It was his first month's income after opening his Small Shop, and it had great sentimental value. He had been saving it and hadn't been willing to spend it.

But a getaway can't be done without funds. He had a lot of personal assets, but taking too much at once would inevitably arouse suspicion from Jeans.

This Butler has lived for decades without any trouble; when he gets clever, even a monkey can't compare.

Just in case, he had no choice but to use the money.

The bag contained approximately five Gold Galleons and five pounds. Even if Jeans went to the Malfoy Manor and the Burrow and couldn't find a place to stay for a while, this amount of money would definitely cover all his expenses for the next three days, whether in the Warlock world or the Muggle world.

After everything was ready, Aaron carried Abei back to the bedroom.

Abei looked at the snacks piled on the bed and struggled to choose among four options: snacks he liked, snacks that could satisfy his cravings and replenish his energy, and snacks his owner liked.

After hesitating for a while, Abei tearfully ruled out the food her master loved to eat, and instead kept stuffing her own favorite food into her pocket.

Seeing this scene, Aaron was heartbroken, his teeth itched with anger, and his hands unconsciously clenched.

What a disaster! This is like raising a white-eyed dragon!

The next day, Aaron got up early, dressed and washed up, and took Abei to a restaurant for dinner.

The man and the dragon exchanged a glance, their expressions like those of starving ghosts reincarnated.

This breakfast was probably the most lavish they'd had in three days, and running around was very physically demanding, so not eating until they were completely full would be a disservice to themselves.

"Slow down, slow down, there's more if it's not enough." Jeans forced a smile. "Young Master, I can understand Abei's behavior, but why?"

"Cough cough!" Aaron choked for a moment. "Isn't this just a sudden whim?"

"Yes, of course."

You're the young master, you can eat as much as you want.

However, you still need to eat in moderation; otherwise, you might get an upset stomach.

"I don't need you to remind me." Aaron waved his hand, and before Abei could grab the last chicken leg from the plate, he quickly took it from his hand. "Also, pack me a serving of dried fruit."

"Yes, young master, I'll go right away."

The House Elf immediately said and quickly headed towards the kitchen.

Jeans paused, sensing something was amiss. "Young Master, what are you preparing dried fruit for?"

"This is for my great-uncle."

"Isn't school starting soon? I'm planning to visit him; shouldn't I bring a small gift?"

"So that's how it is." Jeans breathed a sigh of relief.

"Otherwise what? What can I do?"

I'd like to personally go and prepare lunch for my uncle as a way of showing my filial piety. After all, I've been learning from Salks for so long, and my cooking skills are now above average.

"But the problem is, I still have to go to class, don't I? I don't have time." Aaron said, giving Jeans a sharp glare.

Jeans was initially a little confused, but seeing that look in his eyes, he couldn't help but feel guilty, and some of his words were swallowed back.

After all, he had confidently promised that after completing one course, he would have more free time for another course, but then he unhesitatingly added that free time to more difficult subjects.

Although this was done with the young master's best interests in mind, it was indeed not a fair thing to do.

"What the young master says is true."

Is there anything else we need to prepare?

"No need, he doesn't need anything, the gesture is enough."

Jeans thought so too, and didn't say anything more.

After breakfast, Aaron lay down on the chair, while Abei lay in Aaron's arms, lazily digesting the food in their stomachs.

When the House Elf brought over a box of exquisite dried fruit, the two of them stretched and then decisively picked up the gift box and walked to the fireplace.

After a flash of green flame, Aaron arrived at his Small Shop, with Jeans close behind.

"Here you go, I'm going to my great-uncle's shop now."

"Young Master, no problem, Young Master," Jeans said. "By the way, Young Master, please try not to stay too long."

Although you may not want to hear it, you really do have to attend classes for three more days, so...

"No need to say anything, I know what I'm doing."

After Aaron finished speaking, he led Abei away from Gaius Beverage Shop and walked along the street to Ollivanders Wand Shop.

With the start of the new school year approaching, the Ollivanders Wand Shop is busier than usual, with one or two parents frequently seen bringing their soon-to-be-started children to choose Wand.

Aaron didn't think much of it and gave Abei a look, trying his best to act normal. After all, there were two hidden auras following him in the dark, and it wouldn't be good if they saw through his disguise.

As the door opened, Ollivander, who was introducing Wand to a child, smiled and said, "This morning, you even brought me a present."

That's really rare!

"Tell me, what do you want from me?"

"Look at what you're saying." Aaron scratched his head sheepishly. "Am I that kind of person?"

Besides, Uncle, I've never asked you for anything before!

"Who knows if this will be the first time," Ollivander said half-jokingly, then looked at the little boy in Warlock clothes in front of the counter. "This is your senior, also a Hogwarts student."

The little boy was particularly excited and quickly walked up to Aaron. "Senior, my name is Colin. I'm a freshman this year. It's nice to meet you."

Aaron responded with a friendly smile, "I hope you make some real friends at Hogwarts."

"Um!

"By the way, senior, do you know Harry Potter?"

"I know him. He's Gryffindor student, so we're friends!"

Colin got even more excited, "It's a bit difficult, but could you please get me one autographed photo of him, just one?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow, barely suppressing the smile that was welling up inside him.

I didn't expect Harry to have fans, and they seem to be die-hard fans.

He felt that Harry Potter might not agree, partly because he had only recently come to know the magical world and was still somewhat insecure in some ways, and partly because he simply couldn't do it, since his uncle's family wouldn't waste a single penny of his money.

"You'll have to work on that yourself." Aaron patted Colin on the shoulder and placed the dried fruit on the table. "I'm going upstairs for a bit. Uncle, you should entertain the guests first!"
