Run Away From Home for the First Time
Ollivanders Wand Shop, second floor.
After Aaron went upstairs, he decisively closed the door and then gave Abei a look.
Abei understood immediately and took out a piece of clothing and a Backpack from his pocket.
Aaron glanced downstairs and saw that the two shadows in the corner were still there. He breathed a sigh of relief and quickly changed into the more common clothes to make sure that his presence in the crowd was not so strong.
Afterwards, Aaron stuffed Abei into his Backpack and took out the Invisibility Potion, which was only half full.
But before he drank it, he suddenly remembered something, picked up the pen on the table, and wrote two sentences on a piece of yellow paper:
Overwhelmed by the numerous courses, I need to go out and relax.
Please ask Uncle to tell Jeans to prepare everything I need for the start of school and to wait for me at Platform 9¾ on September 1st.
"Now everything should be foolproof," Aaron murmured, then quickly slung his Backpack over his shoulder, took a small sip of Invisibility Potion, and his body instantly became transparent.
Since he hadn't drunk much, he could only remain invisible for about ten minutes. He needed to Silencio escape the sight of the two bodyguards within this very short time.
Just then, Colin also chose his Wand, and Aaron followed him while he was away, so no strange incident of the door suddenly opening occurred.
Although such an incident is nothing unusual in the Magic World, it's better to avoid trouble.
The invisibility wore off after a short while, but luckily Aaron didn't sense the two auras following him in the dark, so he was temporarily relieved.
Having shaken off the two bodyguards, the first step of the escape plan was barely completed. The second step was to leave Diagon Alley.
Now he has two paths before him, one of which is Knockturn Alley.
Knockturn Alley is a mixed bag, an extreme case compared to Diagon Alley, but it provides considerable cover for escape.
However, it's not so friendly to one's own safety; in that place, you could easily kill a Dark Wizard by throwing a brick at him.
Aaron hesitated for a moment, but for safety's sake, he chose the second option: the Leaky Cauldron.
Entering this small bar that connects Diagon Alley and Muggle Street through a narrow alley, Aaron, dressed as a refined young man, attracts the attention of some of the customers.
"Are you Aaron? Aaron Gaius?" the bartender asked, somewhat surprised. "Why didn't Mr. Jeans come with you?"
"Um... it's a secret, Tom."
"Oh!" Tom didn't ask any further questions, but pointed to some liquor on the counter. "Would you like a drink? I just got a batch of Butterbeer, which is suitable for adults."
"No, give me a glass of brandy instead," Aaron said. This was the first time he had actually defied the rules, so he had to have a high-end, classy drink.
"Are you sure? You can drink this kind of alcohol?"
"I'm absolutely sure, but it's okay to put the bill on Jeans, right?"
"I estimate he'll be here in a little over an hour," Aaron said somewhat embarrassedly, after all, this was the first time he'd ever bought something on credit.
But you can't blame him. The expenses for three days of running away are nearly two thousand pounds, which seems like a lot, but who knows when you'll need the money, so every penny saved counts.
Tom's expression changed, Aaron, thinking he was going to refuse, regretfully grabbed a few Galleon from his pocket. "If it doesn't work out, then forget it."
"No problem at all."
"Tom." A Warlock in his late twenties, dressed in a brown Warlock's robe, looked at him with a mournful expression. "You've never let us regular customers get credit. Do you offer discounts for children?"
"Others may not be able to, but he can." Tom poured Aaron a small glass of brandy and said in a flattering tone, "The good wines here are all sourced from your family's winery."
"Hey boss, could you give me a discount next time?"
Aaron was stunned for a moment, not expecting that his own winery's winery could open here.
"No problem, I'll take care of it, 1% off." Aaron generously offered this not-so-generous discount, then picked up the brandy and downed it in one gulp.
Tom and the other patrons in the bar watched him with interest, eager to see the little Warlock's predicament, but to their surprise, Aaron walked out of the bar as if nothing had happened.
"He has a really high alcohol tolerance," one guest exclaimed. "When I was his age, I had never even drunk Butterbeer."
"If you owned a winery, your alcohol tolerance would probably be pretty high too," Tom joked. "And he owns more than one winery."
Once outside the Leaky Cauldron, you enter the Muggle world. Aaron's outfit blends seamlessly into the bustling street, making him appear to everyone as an ordinary high school student taking a stroll.
Breathing in the fresh air, Aaron was incredibly excited, wishing he could shout out in celebration of his hard-won moment of freedom.
But he knew that his current situation was not safe. If he really thought that everything would be fine after leaving Diagon Alley, he would probably be caught and taken back in less than two hours.
Just then, a squirming sound came from inside the Backpack. Abei felt a bit stuffy and wanted to stick his head out for some fresh air.
But just as it was about to act, a hand pressed it back down, saying, "Bear with it a little longer, it's not time for you to come out yet."
As Aaron took his walk, he surveyed his surroundings and slipped into an empty alley.
He quickly unzipped the Backpack and let Abei out.
Holy Dragon stretched his limbs briefly, then tactfully folded his clothes and stuffed them into Aaron's Backpack.
"Prepare the potion." Aaron took out half a bottle of Invisibility Potion, and poured out half of it with some reluctance. "This amount will allow us to be invisible for at most half an hour."
Malfoy Manor is over 130 kilometers away, so you'll need to go as fast as you can in a bit. Can you do that?
Abei hesitated for a moment, then nodded solemnly.
"Thu!"
Aaron nodded in satisfaction, first drinking a glass himself, then feeding Abei a glass.
Both the man and the dragon went invisible at the same time. Abei ran out of the alley, quickly shrinking to about a few meters in size on the street, and then crouched down.
Aaron made a quick decision, jumped onto its back, found a comfortable and safe spot, and said, "Let's go."
At a command, the Holy Dragon spread its wings, and an autumn wind appeared out of nowhere on the street, making passersby squint.
However, the wind came quickly and went even faster, disappearing in less than two seconds, while Abei carried Aaron through the clouds.
Wuhu!
Aaron let out a joyful shout from Abei's back. This was his first time experiencing high-speed flight, and he couldn't help but feel excited as he looked at the buildings and forests rushing past below.
Unlike Magic Broom, dragons fly much faster and are quite comfortable. Unlike Apparition, there are no risks or costs involved, but the thrill is immense.
At this moment, he truly understood why some Warlock preferred to travel longer by riding Fantastic Beasts rather than Apparition; it felt incredibly exhilarating.
Just minutes after they set off, Ollivander also went up the stairs to see his grandnephew.
But when he opened the door, he didn't see Aaron; instead, a yellowed piece of paper under the paperweight was particularly eye-catching.
Ollivander took a closer look and his heart skipped a beat. He murmured, "My Merlin!"
He immediately put away the note Aaron had left, quickly went down the stairs, ignoring even the customers who had just come in to choose Wand, and hurriedly headed to Gaius Beverage Shop after saying "Wait a moment".
This is truly a major disaster; my usually filial and sensible grand-nephew has actually run away from home.
The two bodyguards who were secretly protecting Aaron felt a sudden tremor in their hearts upon seeing this. They exchanged a glance and decided to make an exception and quietly entered Ollivanders Wand Shop.
Two minutes later, the two men emerged from the store with bitter and worried expressions.
Their young master actually ran away right under their noses, and they didn't even know when or how he ran away. This is a serious dereliction of duty!
"Sigh!" one of them said helplessly, "The young master ran away so easily, while the two of us..."
In short, this is a terrible situation.
"Who can argue with that!"
This is the first accident in twelve years, and it happened to the two of us!
"Let's report the situation to Lord Jeans first!"
However, be prepared to get a scolding.
The two knew that Ollivander had left in a hurry to find Jeans; their only past job was to get scolded and vent their anger by being yelled at by their boss.
Ollivander angrily slammed the yellowed paper down in front of Jeans, displaying an aura completely out of character for his age. "How do you raise children? How could such a huge mistake occur?"
"Please calm down, what exactly did you post?"
"See for yourself."
If anything happens to Aaron, you will be held responsible.
"Young Master." Jeans paused for a moment, then immediately picked up the paper and began to read.
A moment later, he lowered his trembling hands, feeling extremely depressed.
Sure enough, they ran away!
Recalling Aaron's unusual behavior at breakfast, he realized that this was definitely a premeditated act of running away from home.
