Aaron barely slept all night, because Abei would wake him up every now and then.

Each time, he told him that he heard a terrifying, murderous voice that roamed the castle as if searching for a prey.

After a few times, Aaron stopped thinking it was a prank, because Abei's requirements for sleep time and quality were no less than his own.

The fact that it can make someone so serious means that this voice really exists.

Forced to sit up, Aaron glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table and sighed helplessly.

It's almost 10 o'clock, and there's no need for me to sleep now.

"Are you satisfied now? I've been sleeping almost two hours less than usual."

Abei rubbed Aaron's hand apologetically, offering a simple expression of apology, "I just wanted to remind Master to be careful, I had no other intentions."

Aaron didn't doubt this at all. "You said you heard a terrible sound, and I believe you, but can you tell what that sound was?"

We're in a magic school, where Ghost, elves, and even some Warlock ' pranks are all possible.

By the way, Slytherin's common room is underwater, and there are Giant Squid and the Grindylow in the water.

Abei lowered his head and thought for a while, then shook his head. "None of them. I'm pretty sure it's not any of them."

Aaron frowned. This was all the normal scenarios he could think of; the rest were the abnormal ones.

However, if something is unusual, there must be something fishy going on. Nothing is surprising in the Magic World.

Aaron tapped his index finger on the bed, various possible guesses flashing through his mind, but he ultimately decided to pretend he knew nothing.

Firstly, he wasn't sure if the owner of the voice would dislike him, but meddling in other people's business was not a wise move.

Secondly, he had no evidence to prove that there were such sounds inside the castle, since he hadn't heard anything last night.

Perhaps only animals, or Fantastic Beasts like Abei, can hear it.

"Listen to me, but pretend you didn't hear anything."

"How are you normally? Will you continue to be the same? Can you make rice dumplings?"

"It can be made." Abei nodded, but was still puzzled. "But why? This sound is dangerous; it's hunting."

Aaron took a deep breath, patted his pet's head, and explained seriously, "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down; the early bird catches the worm."

One of your master's family precepts is that when you know very little, the best course of action is to pretend you know nothing.

This is a wise saying from an ancestor, "Playing dumb is the key to longevity."

Abei seemed to understand, but not quite. It didn't grasp the deeper meaning behind the action; it just knew that listening to its master was the right thing to do.

"But pretending not to know doesn't mean doing nothing. Let me know next time you hear that sound so I can be mentally prepared."

He didn't think he would be so unlucky as to be the first target of the owner of that voice.

But undeniably, there's a ticking time bomb in the castle, and he probably won't be able to sleep soundly until he figures it out.

Fortunately, the sound did not reappear for more than a month afterward.

The comfortable learning and living environment made him and Abei subconsciously ignore its existence.

Halloween Eve.

This is a memorable day. At this time last year, Quirrell released Troll, disrupting the banquet and forcing it to be interrupted.

However, I believe this year's banquet will proceed smoothly... I think!

The Great Hall was particularly crowded today, with students filling Long Table and golden plates laden with various exquisite delicacies.

The ceiling was covered with pumpkin lanterns of all sizes, and the bright candlelight created a lively atmosphere.

Dumbledore even hired a Skull Band to perform and dance in front of the Great Hall, a rare sight indeed.

Aaron placed the two portions of fish on Abei's plate, then looked at Draco and asked, "How's training going lately?"

"Excellent! Marcus and the others really agree with your plan and are very cooperative," Draco said excitedly. "I initially thought they would resist, but I didn't expect them to be so excited."

"In the past, Quidditch was decided by the Seeker, but my plan is to let them have a big show."

"With Nimbus 2001, Slytherin will crush Gryffindor in numbers and win by a landslide," Aaron laughed. "But you can't be careless."

"Don't worry, I know how to handle things."

"If Harry Potter can turn this around, I'll avoid him from now on." Draco patted his chest and assured him, his eyes involuntarily glancing towards the Gryffindor Long Table.

"What happened?"

"What? What happened?"

"Harry Potter and the others have disappeared again, this time along with Hermione Granger." Draco pointed to the long Long Table behind Aaron. "See for yourself."

Aaron turned around in a daze, and sure enough, three people were missing from the Gryffindor Long Table.

"Hehe!" Draco seemed to have thought of something funny, and he couldn't stop smiling. "Last time they went missing, they drove to school."

Professor McGonagall was quite magnanimous; she only put Harry and Ron in solitary confinement.

I heard that one of them was sent to the Trophy Room to polish those silver pieces, and the other was sent to help Lockhart by giving him the faith of his idols.

"But this time, they might not be so lucky."

"Don't talk nonsense. The Halloween party doesn't require students to attend. Maybe something came up and they were delayed this time!" Aaron said with a strange expression, though he also felt that Draco's words made sense.

It wasn't unprecedented for the three of them to disappear together. The last time was when they went to the Trapdoor to deal with Professor Quirrell, and the time before that, they teamed up to steal his pet.

"I always had a feeling they wouldn't do anything good," Draco said. "It wasn't prejudice, it was just a gut feeling."

"Um... on this point, I do share your view." Aaron nodded in agreement; sometimes, metaphysics is still worth believing in.

At this moment, Abei's ears suddenly twitched, and she stopped eating, her clear eyes constantly scanning her surroundings.

"What's wrong?" Aaron asked, somewhat puzzled.

Abei grinned, "Master, I heard that voice again."

Aaron suddenly shivered, glanced at Dumbledore in the High Table, and his heart instantly sank into his stomach.

With the most powerful White Magic of this century here, there's nothing to fear from mere cowards hiding in hiding.

Even if we take a step back and assume that even Dumbledore couldn't stop this hidden danger, then they certainly couldn't either. Eating a little more now might allow them to die a full-bodied death.

"Can you hear where the sound is?" Aaron murmured, cautiously asking in Dragon Language.

The sound was very soft, perfectly masked by the noisy laughter and chatter in the Great Hall, and even Draco, sitting right in front of him, didn't notice it.

This wasn't because Aaron was being cautious; it was simply to avoid unnecessary trouble. After all, there weren't many in the Magic World who could match Long Ruli.

Abei for a moment, then pointed to the door with one paw.

"It stayed in a corridor outside for a while, but it's not there anymore."

"Gone?"

Then I won't be afraid anymore.

Aaron breathed a sigh of relief, a faint smile appearing on his face.

The thought that these unknown creatures were still wandering in the castle weighed heavily on his mind.

We can't just ignore it! It would be bad if something happened that affected Hogwarts.

He gets ten Magic Points a day just by Sign-in at Hogwarts. Compared to the one or two Magic Points he gets elsewhere, this rate of gain is like riding Rocket.

To ensure the rapid, healthy, and stable development of the magic school, its safety is of paramount importance.

Aaron took a deep breath and looked down at Abei. "Are you absolutely, positively certain that the unknown object is gone?"

Abei nodded hurriedly, "I'm absolutely sure, and it's run so far away now that I can't sense its location."

"What are the specific details?"

Abei was stunned for a moment, then looked at Aaron speechlessly, "Master, I am not omnipotent."

"Sorry, I was overthinking it." Aaron smiled sheepishly, then picked up Abei. "Let's go take a look!"

"Where are you going?" Draco asked.

"Everyone has to go to the restroom sometimes."

The dinner is almost over. I'm going to the dorm after I use the restroom, so you don't need to wait for me.

After saying that, Aaron walked out of the Great Hall.

Abei followed the scent and led the way, bringing Aaron to the upper corridor on the third floor.

The corridor was empty, with nothing in it except for a lot of water stains on the floor.

"It's just ahead," Abei said, pointing to the corner ahead.

Aaron slowed his pace, lowered his voice, and carefully avoided puddles on the ground, afraid of making any noise.

At the same time, he was ready to act, his Wand ready to be drawn at any moment.

If there is real danger, a few spells would make Voldemort cry out in pain, and he would have a chance to escape.

But when he got closer, he was stunned and opened his mouth. His first reaction was that the disappearance of these three together must be poisonous.

Harry, Ron, Hermione were standing in front of a wall, on which there appeared to be crimson blood-red writing.
