"The Moaning Myrtle's restroom?" While the others were still somewhat confused, Professor McGonagall seemed to realize something and asked with a serious expression, "Are you sure?"

"It's not certain, but it's pretty close."

That washroom was the first crime scene fifty years ago and is highly suspected of being the perpetrator.

Furthermore, there were numerous water stains at the crime scene on the night Mrs. Norris was murdered; this was definitely not a coincidence.

Professor McGonagall nodded, confirming Aaron's judgment in her heart.

"Let's get going without delay."

"Wait a minute," Aaron hurriedly stopped them, "We still need to do some preparations."

"What else is there to prepare?" Professor Flitwick asked anxiously. "Ginny's life hangs in the balance!"

"That's why we need to be fully prepared. If anything happens to you, who will guarantee the safety of hundreds of students?" Aaron explained patiently. Then he looked at Professor McGonagall, "The school needs Dumbledore right now. I know you can contact him, and you must."

Professor McGonagall nodded. "I'll inform him now, but it will take some time."

"Furthermore, my dormitory has only two roosters, the only two surviving roosters in the entire Hogwarts, and I'm sure that Diary didn't know they existed."

With them around, the Basilisk poses no threat and is nothing to fear.

Upon hearing this, Lockhart, who was pretending to be unconscious, immediately straightened up, got up from the ground as if nothing had happened, and his complexion returned to normal.

"I was probably too tired lately, and I just fell asleep without realizing it." Lockhart smiled, revealing eight pearly white teeth. "By the way, where were we?"

Fighting monsters, huh? No problem, just give it to me!

But I need one, no, two roosters, and they have to be lively and energetic.

Upon hearing this, Aaron's lips twitched uncontrollably. Did this oddball really have to try and make his presence known at this moment?

The others also involuntarily frowned; with that kind of thick skin, even the Killing Curse probably couldn't be broken.

"Aaron, business is more important," Professor McGonagall said. "You get ready first. We'll go to Moaning Myrtle's restroom to find the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. We won't move around until you arrive."

Aaron nodded, turned and ran toward the Slytherin Common Room, while all the professors went to the Weeping Moaning Myrtle bathroom.

Upon arriving at the dormitory, Aaron quickly removed the cage, dispelled the Disillusionment Charm, and released the half-baked rooster he had been raising.

The two roosters flapped their wings and crowed, but before they could enjoy their happiness for long, Abei glanced at them.

A sense of dragon's might pressed down on their hearts, and the two roosters immediately became obedient.

Aaron took a deep breath, pulled a wooden box from under the bed, and took out a silver Longsword from inside.

He didn't know if he would ever need the sword, so just in case, he created a summoning Magic Array and placed the Longsword into the summoning space.

When he came out, many Slytherin stared at him in surprise because the two roosters he was carrying were very conspicuous.

"What... what's going on?" Draco asked curiously. "Where did those two roosters come from?"

"This was Professor McGonagall's order; I don't know the details either."

"I have to tell you all to stay in the Common Room until I give you my orders, and don't wander around." Aaron gave a vague explanation, then walked out carrying the rooster.

A dozen minutes later, Aaron arrived at the third floor of the castle and saw Harry and the other two standing in the corner like children who had done something wrong. He couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"How can you be here?" Professor McGonagall demanded loudly.

"We..." Harry stammered, unsure of what to say. Just then, he saw Aaron walking over carrying two roosters and immediately understood what had happened. He said, "We also want to help, Aaron knows."

"Another one asking for help?" Professor Snape sneered. "No, there are three, but you three are a bit overestimating yourselves."

You're not needed here, hurry up and get back to your dorms.

"Wait, we might really need them here," Aaron said hastily, then looked meaningfully at Harry, "There's someone here who Parseltongue!"

Professor Snape frowned slightly. To be fair, he didn't want Harry Potter to take any risks, and Aaron's words weren't without reason.

"Yes, Professor Snape," Ron said with a broad grin. "Harry one of only two Parseltongue Warlock in the entire school."

"Weasley, you're the last person who should be so happy," Snape said sarcastically. "Your sister's been thrown into the Chamber of Secrets!"

What?

Ron's expression changed drastically, and he fell backward, his body weak. If Harry and Hermione hadn't caught him in time, he would have definitely made a hard contact with the floor.

"Ginny," Ron murmured in disbelief, "How could this be? It shouldn't be like this."

She's Pure-blood; she shouldn't have been thrown into the Chamber of Secrets.

"That's the truth. The only good news is that her life is now hanging in the balance."

Upon hearing this, Ron glared at Aaron with red eyes, "This can be good news?"

"Don't look at me like that. After I found out about her accident, I told several professors everything, including who the Slytherin heir is."

"Do you know who the heir is?" Hermione asked.

"I understand." Aaron nodded. "To be honest, we've all met him, and some of us have even had some contact with him."

But the luckiest one was Harry Potter; he actually survived.

"Um... could you explain it a little more clearly?" Harry asked, puzzled.

"Tom Riddle's Diary is the culprit, the mastermind behind it all," Aaron said meaningfully. "The magic in the Diary will slowly make people lose themselves and then be controlled by it."

The group of people were struck dumb, standing there in a daze.

"Now you understand, I would never have stepped forward under any circumstances, but sometimes I really have no choice."

This morning I promised Ginny that she would give me Tom Riddle's Diary to keep safe, and then I would find a way to destroy it, but I didn't expect...

"It's all your fault!" Ron roared angrily, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't wrong people."

I told you about Ginny's suspicions months ago, and you assured me confidently that she was innocent.

"If you had been even a little more reliable back then, the mystery of the Secret Chamber would have been solved long ago, and she wouldn't have faced such great danger."

"I..." Ron's expression froze, and his anger instantly turned into endless self-reproach. "Then you shouldn't have let her go to get that diary alone."

"Heh! Heh heh!"

She came to me because she didn't want you to know. If she hadn't really had no other choice, she wouldn't have asked me, Slytherin, for help.

Besides, I never imagined that diary would have such a powerful effect.

I promised her I would keep it a secret, but now it's obviously impossible to keep it a secret, otherwise she might not even be alive.

"Alright, you lot," Professor McGonagall interjected. "Business is more important. Let's talk about any disagreements after we've rescued Ginny!"

"I brought the roosters." Aaron handed two roosters to Professor McGonagall. "They are the nemesis of the Basilisk."

"Leave it to me!" Lockhart said with a grin. "I guarantee I'll take down the Basilisk."

He can't compete in high-level games, he can't compete in low-level games, and he struggles even when he's ahead, but if he can't seize the opportunity in a winning game, then all his years of hard work have been for nothing.

Holding a rooster and standing there, you could win an epic victory with your eyes closed—an opportunity you could never even dream of.

Killing the giant serpent and saving Hogwarts would definitely be a highlight of his career.

Professor McGonagall glanced at him dismissively. Although she knew this grinning fellow was definitely unreliable, she still handed the rooster over to him.

Because at this moment, no one present valued the two roosters more than Lockhart.

"Let's find the Secret Chamber first!" Snape said calmly.

The group pushed open the door to the restroom and walked in in a grand procession.

Moaning Myrtle was wallowing in self-pity on the ceiling, suddenly flew down. "Why are so many people coming to my place? Quite a few professors too?"

"I'm sorry, Moaning Myrtle, we're requisitioning this restroom today," Professor McGonagall said. "This is not important; I'm not discussing it with you."

Moaning Myrtle was somewhat reluctant, but looking at the lavish lineup, she could only nod helplessly, "Alright, but I have a small condition."

She pointed at Aaron, who was hiding behind the crowd, and said with a lovestruck smile, "During the conscription period, I just need him to keep me company and talk to me."

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone's eyes fell on Aaron, especially Snape, who had a strange smile on his lips.

Aaron's eye twitched slightly, and he said coldly, "Dream on. Unless it's your next life, don't even think about making me sell my body."

I love your pride.

Upon hearing this, Aaron wished he could slap a curse in her face.

But his upbringing taught him not to hit women, so he could only suppress his anger and look at Professor Flitwick with a helpless expression, "You are the Dean of Ravenclaw, say something!"

"Me?" Flitwick pointed to himself in astonishment. "But she had been dead for decades when I was the dean. I didn't know her at all."

"Moaning Myrtle, we cannot agree to your conditions," Professor McGonagall said. "We still need Aaron's help; we can't do without him."

"What does this have to do with me?"

"It concerns the cause of your death," Aaron said. "If you want to know who killed you fifty years ago, cooperate properly and don't get in our way."

Upon hearing this, Moaning Myrtle hesitated for a long time before flying up in tears, saying, "I'll cooperate."

"Do you remember where you died?" Harry asked.

"It should be there," Moaning Myrtle said, pointing to the pool in front of her. "That tap never produces water."

The group went forward to check, thoroughly examining the pool inside and out, but found nothing unusual.

"Could it be that you're mistaken?" Lockhart asked. "If so, just say it. It's normal not to remember things from fifty years ago."

"She's right," Hermione said suddenly, then pointed to a small snake carved on the side of the dragon's head. "That's the Slytherin symbol."

"But how do we open it?" Professor Sprout asked.

"Parseltongue," Aaron said. "Only those who can Parseltongue can unlock it."

Harry nodded seriously, and under the expectant gazes of everyone, he hissed at the dragon head, "Open."
