The Diary Was the Main Body
"I want to too!" Aaron said, on the verge of tears. "But I'm too weak. And do you think he'll give us a second chance?"
Upon hearing this, Riddle's face lit up with a smug smile.
Having personally experienced that terrifying baptism of lightning, he dared not give Aaron another chance to inscribe Magic Array.
The future Voldemort experienced what it meant to be caught off guard and suffer a humiliating defeat; the present Tom Riddle has no intention of experiencing the same disgrace.
"That means we have no choice but to fight him." Harry looked serious, glancing at the Wand in Riddle's hand, when he suddenly thought of something. "Aaron, lend me your Wand."
"What the hell?" Aaron's lips twitched slightly. "Even if you're out of your mind, you should at least consider the occasion!"
"You don't have much magic left, but I do. All I need is a Wand."
Upon hearing this, Ron realized what was happening.
His Wand is broken, but Aaron's Wand is still in good condition, so it wouldn't hurt to borrow it.
"I also..."
"No." Aaron rolled his eyes. "Even though I'm in terrible shape right now, the Wand in my hands is definitely more effective than yours."
"Ginny's Wand," Hermione reminded her. "You can use Ginny's."
Ron didn't think much of it and simply pulled a black Wand from Ginny's pocket.
"Are you ready?" Riddle completely disregarded the four young Warlock, toying with his Wand with an air of detachment. "Today you will learn the meaning of Despair."
A roar suddenly rang out, and a dark blue figure flew over, its crimson Dragon Fire forcing Riddle back several meters.
"That damn dragon."
"Abei!"
Aaron looked at it with relief and found the black diary in its pocket. He breathed a sigh of relief.
Abei laughed and jumped in front of Aaron, muttering in his sleep.
The gist of the story is that the Basilisk lost its diary while it was biting everything in sight, and it took a lot of effort to find it under a collapsed pillar.
"Well done, you saved us all this time."
At this moment, Aaron had no more scruples. He was thinking of adding all the remaining Magic Points to Magical Energy. With the rewards from completing the two tasks, it would be enough to raise his strength to the Archmage Peak.
At that time, he will have the qualifications to confront Riddle head-on.
Although they might still lose, given the opponent's formidable strength, with Abei and Fawkes joining the team, they are not without a chance of victory.
A 40/60 split is a bit of a pipe dream, but a 10/20 split is still possible.
However, now that the Soul Container in his hands, it's equivalent to holding Tom Riddle's life and fortune in his hands, so things aren't so troublesome anymore. No matter how big the trouble he gets, he can't turn things around.
"Too bad, Tom Riddle," Aaron said meaningfully. "The outcome is decided; you're dead this time."
"What nonsense are you spouting?" Riddle frowned. "While I admire you greatly, both in terms of talent and character, which exceed my expectations, it doesn't mean I can tolerate your disrespect again and again."
Pfft!
Aaron couldn't help but chuckle, then saw the black lines on Riddle's face. "Sorry, I just think you're too arrogant. You don't even realize you're about to die."
"What's the meaning?"
Aaron shrugged and took the diary out of Abei's pocket. "This thing should be Soul Container!"
"Stop!" Riddle exclaimed in shock, looking at Aaron with extreme anxiety. "Do you know what this means?"
"Of course I know, this is your fate."
Harry and the others also deduced the meaning of the diary from Riddle's expression and breathed a sigh of relief.
Although it felt strange, the situation seemed to have changed dramatically, and the initiative was in their hands.
"If we destroy it, Riddle will die!" Harry exclaimed excitedly. "Hogwarts will be too dangerous, Ginny will wake up too."
"You're not hopelessly stupid."
Harry felt as if a sword had been pierced his heart, causing him excruciating pain.
But considering that they had done more than one absurd thing, he could only awkwardly force a smile.
"The Soul Container isn't so easy to destroy," Riddle said confidently, but to the others it sounded incredibly uneasy.
"Normally, this is how it is; ordinary spells can't do anything to this diary."
Unfortunately, there are at least four ways to destroy this Chamber of Secrets. "Aaron chuckled, " Gaius's Sword —you've seen its power too."
Riddle's expression darkened, but Harry and his two friends grinned, thinking, "This is it!"
"Secondly, the Basilisk Fang, and the venom of a thousand Magical Creatures should also be able to destroy Soul Container!"
Third, Dragon Breath. Abei's Dragon Fire is extremely effective against Dark Magic items like Soul Container.
Riddle couldn't take it anymore. He knew he had to seize the diary, or he would die.
"Avada Kedavra".
A green, ominous spell shot from the tip of the Wand, accompanied by a jumble of sounds, its target quite clear.
Although Riddle admired Aaron and hoped he would assist him, compared to the temptation of resurrection, a highly promising assistant was nothing.
"Fourth, the Killing Curse." Aaron sneered and threw the diary out.
The Diary was struck by the Unforgivable Curses, turning grayish-white in mid-air, from which black ink suddenly exploded and spilled all over the ground.
Riddle's body was also covered with white light holes, and he was in great pain. He turned into ashes amidst his miserable howls.
Snap!
Harry's Wand fell to the ground, splashing up a few water droplets.
"Is this finally over?" Harry asked uncertainly. "Riddle won't be able to come back to life, will he?"
"Unless he has a life-or-death bond with Death God, otherwise..."
Ginny suddenly groaned, opened her eyes, and sat up blankly. "Where am I?"
Aaron shrugged and said half-jokingly, "Looks like Death God is pretty righteous after all."
"You're finally awake." Ron gave Ginny a happy hug. "It's alright, Ginny."
"Riddle is dead, and his Basilisk was killed by Aaron. It's all over."
Ginny stared at the gray Diary and the Basilisk cut in two, her eyes red with fear, tears streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry, I did it, but I really didn't mean to."
"It's Riddle, he's controlling me."
"No one will blame a little girl who almost died," Aaron comforted her. "Besides, the Mandrake has grown back, and the victims will soon be free from their petrified state."
"I won't get expelled, will I?" Ginny cried. "My parents will be so sad."
"You can rest assured, you definitely won't be expelled," Aaron said confidently. "Dumbledore will be at school soon. Although he always messes up at crucial moments, it can't be denied that he treats his students quite well."
Moaning Myrtle died fifty years ago, and Hagrid was wrongly accused of being the Heir of Slytherin. It was Hagrid's insistence that allowed him to remain at Hogwarts.
You were also a victim this time, and more importantly, no one was killed. We also found the Secret Chamber, killed the Basilisk, and eliminated a huge threat to Hogwarts.
"You've gone too far, so he has no reason to punish you."
Hearing this, Ginny's expression softened considerably. "Thank you, Aaron."
"You're welcome." Aaron waved his hand. "But you should be more careful with magical items that have their own consciousness in the future. If there's a next time, I might not be able to save you."
"Let's go wait at the entrance first!" Hermione suggested, then carefully helped Aaron up. "You're really not feeling well right now."
Harry quickly supported Aaron on the other side, treating him like a fine piece of porcelain, afraid of bumping or damaging him.
Ron comforted his sister, telling her what had happened while helping her toward the entrance.
"Wait, my ring." Aaron suddenly stopped. "That's very important. Has anyone seen it?"
"Is that it?" Ginny pointed to a puddle where a medieval ring reflected a faint light.
Abei immediately ran over and brought the ring to Aaron.
Hermione picked it up to put it on Aaron, but the next moment she felt a wave of weakness wash over her and staggered before she came to her senses.
"You..."
Hermione stared at Aaron in astonishment. Having personally experienced the magic of the ring, she finally understood why Voldemort was looking at Aaron the way he did.
Even geniuses are ranked. She considered herself far superior to her peers, but compared to geniuses like Aaron and Voldemort, she was utterly worthless. There was an unfathomable chasm between them.
"Don't tell anyone," Aaron said meaningfully as he put on the ring.
Hermione nodded blankly and continued to help Aaron forward.
After climbing a ladder and passing through a narrow tunnel, the group saw the gray-white barrier again.
"Professor, we're out!" Ron shouted.
Professor McGonagall saw Ginny Weasley come out as well, and felt a great sense of relief. She laughed excitedly and said, "Thank God, Ginny, you're still alive."
If no one dies, the situation isn't beyond redemption.
It would also be easier for Hogwarts to handle the aftermath, and the Mr. and Mrs. Weasley would have a place to go.
"Professor, don't just look at her!" Aaron said weakly. "I need a doctor."
The four professors then noticed the extremely weak Aaron, and their hearts immediately skipped a beat.
The main problem is that the barrier obstructs the view too much; if you don't look carefully, you can only see a few figures.
Moreover, since Harry and the others were all fine, they subconsciously assumed that Aaron must be dead, but they didn't expect that the one who was most seriously injured was actually the one who was the most severely injured.
"Gaius, are you alright?" Professor Snape immediately rushed to the barrier and decisively cast a spell, but the barrier only swayed slightly, with negligible effect.
"Minerva, when will Dumbledore be coming over?"
"Don't worry too much, I won't die anytime soon," Aaron said with relief. "It's just that my whole body is very numb, and I can't muster any strength."
"You..." Snape raised an eyebrow when he saw the blush on Aaron's face. "What happened to you?"
"That's more like normal!"
After all, their opponent was a giant snake tens of feet long, plus a ten-year-old genius Warlock.
"I know, but why don't they have any interest at all?" Snape's face was grim. He knew Aaron was very talented, but it would be too foolish for him to play the hero and put himself in danger.
"We couldn't get involved at all," Harry explained embarrassedly. "Riddle disarmed us very easily. If it weren't for Aaron, we probably wouldn't have been able to get here."
"That's right, that massive spell..."
Hermione immediately coughed and gave Ron a warning look, stopping him from continuing.
"What kind of giant magic?" Professor Flitwick couldn't help but ask.
"Uh... it's nothing." Ron gave Aaron a sheepish chuckle, almost revealing the Magic Array.
Aaron's lips twitched slightly. There was no need to be so nervous. The cards that had been revealed were no longer cards at all.
