"Harry, have you forgotten to tell us something?" Professor McGonagall reminded him. "Like what happened in the Chamber of Secrets? How did you deal with the Basilisk? And how did you defeat Tom Riddle?"

Upon hearing this, Harry blushed and felt so embarrassed he wanted to disappear into the ground.

How could he possibly say that? He couldn't bring himself to say it!

Aaron single-handedly took on the main attack, while Hermione and Ron also cast a few spells, though they weren't very effective, at least they were somewhat involved.

But what did he do? Not only did he not help at all, he also contributed a Wand to Voldemort, which was blatant aid to the enemy!

"It seems Mr. Potter is in a bit of a dilemma!" Snape said sarcastically. "We won't force him if he's unwilling."

"Potter," Professor McGonagall gave him a deep look, "This is important, and we must find out."

"Professor, here's what happened," Hermione explained, "The Basilisk was killed by Aaron's family heirloom sword."

Dumbledore seemed to have thought of something. Looking at the ruby-encrusted sword on the table, he said with a strange expression, "This sword belongs to Godric Gryffindor. Only a true Gryffindor can draw it."

Hearing this, Harry felt particularly relieved, and a smile unconsciously appeared on his face.

He had been wondering for a while whether he had been assigned to the wrong college, but now it seems he was just being sentimental.

"No, sir," Hermione said with an awkward laugh. "Aaron's sword is bigger and has three black Magic Crystal embedded in it, which can absorb blood, physical strength, and magic power respectively."

Having gathered enough power, he unleashed it all at once, cleaving the Basilisk in two with a single sword strike.

"That was a 50-foot-long serpent!" Professor Flitwick exclaimed, his eyes wide with astonishment. "It was just killed like that?"

"Thanks to Fawkes."

It blinded the Basilisk, making the fight much more dangerous.

"And what did you do?" Snape crossed his arms, a cold smile playing on his lips. "You didn't hold back at all when you charged into the barrier!"

"It's not that we didn't want to do it, it's just that Riddle focused all his energy on Aaron." Ron looked somewhat uneasy and muttered to himself, "At least we got Ginny to safety."

"Oh! So that's how it is, no wonder you're from Gryffindor."

"Severus, they are only level two Warlock," Professor McGonagall said helplessly. "Even we would have to expend a lot of effort to deal with that snake."

Snape shrugged and said nothing more, but the mockery in his eyes became even more obvious.

"Riddle?" Dumbledore asked seriously. "How did you defeat him?"

"This..." Harry hesitated for a moment before speaking, "The blood of the Basilisk Aaron a giant Magic Array on the ground, which triggered a terrifying thunderstorm that defeated Riddle."

Upon hearing this, the professors exchanged bewildered glances.

They did feel a slight tremor at the time, but none of them thought about the Magic Array. That kind of magic had been eliminated by at least several hundred thousand years and was almost a legend.

Headmaster Dumbledore's eyes narrowed slightly, and he was stunned for a moment before he recovered.

His experience is incredibly rich, and he has a lot more to think about.

Different people can make different Magic Array have different powers. If Aaron could defeat a ten-year-old Voldemort, Aaron talent and strength might be higher than he thought, or at least not as it appeared on the surface.

And that sword that could slay the Basilisk —the fact that the Gaius family could entrust such a Divine Artifact to Aaron means that they possess even more powerful magical artifacts, their resources are unfathomable.

"It's necessary to pay a visit to the Gaius family," Dumbledore thought to himself, but quickly suppressed the thought.

Aaron, the sole heir of the Gaius family, was averse to getting involved in troublesome matters, and since the Magic World was relatively peaceful at the moment, they might not take Voldemort seriously.

"Alright, we've got a pretty good idea of what's going on."

"But Aaron's idea is to keep a low profile, and we must respect his opinion and grant his small request," Dumbledore said, then looked thoughtfully at Professor McGonagall. "Minerva, I think Hogwarts needs to lift martial law."

We need to tell the students that the Chamber of Secrets incident has been perfectly resolved. As for the specific details, it is not convenient to go into them, but the students who discovered the Chamber of Secrets and made a special contribution to the school should also be rewarded.

So, could you please go to the kitchen and arrange the banquet?

Wait, let's postpone the banquet until tomorrow. Let's tell them the good news tonight first. We need to wait for the students who were injured by the stone and Mr. Gaius to recover.

"Now that it's time, we also need to write a letter to the Ministry of Magic to welcome back our forest ranger, Rubeus Hagrid."

"Okay, I'll arrange it right away."

"Potter, stay behind. Everyone else, go do your own thing!"

Professor McGonagall opened the door to the Headmaster's Office, and everyone left one after another.

However, before leaving, Professor Snape gave Harry Potter a deep look and let out a disgruntled snort.

"Sit down, Harry." Dumbledore stroked Fawkes and said with a smile, "I have to thank you. You must have shown absolute loyalty to me in the Chamber of Secrets to be able to summon Fawkes."

Secondly, I sense something is bothering you, isn't that right?

Harry nodded unconsciously. "Sir, why do I Parseltongue? What does this have to do with Tom Riddle?"

"You noticed?" Dumbledore seemed unsurprised, calmly saying, "If I'm not mistaken, when he left you with the scar, he also transferred a portion of his magic to you."

He didn't mean it, but it's true, because you have a wonderful the Mother.

At that moment, the door was flung open, Lucius Malfoy stormed in, followed by a trembling Dobby.

This House Elf looked badly injured, with clear whip marks and its body wrapped in bandages, looking utterly miserable.

Harry's eyes widened. This was the first time he had ever seen Dobby following behind his master's family. Although he knew that Dobby was not doing well at the Malfoy family, he did not expect it to be this bad.

Lucius came in person to settle accounts, as Dumbledore had returned to the school without his permission, showing a lack of respect for him as Board of Governors.

Dumbledore remained remarkably calm and bluntly told Lucius that after the incident involving Ginny Weasley, a Pure-blood wizard, the other eleven Board of Governors wanted him to return to Hogwarts.

Unable to use his power to intimidate others, Lucius, though furious, could only steer the conversation toward the real culprit.

But he was clearly unaware that the secret Secret Chamber had been discovered, and that both the Basilisk and the mastermind were dead.

When Dumbledore took out Riddle's diary, Lucius turned pale and clenched his fists.

He knew he had come for nothing, and that he had to keep a low profile from now on, because he had slipped that diary into Ginny's notebook at Flourish and Blotts and Blotts.

Originally, I wanted to reduce my inventory of Dark Magic artifacts at home and, incidentally, annoy my old nemesis, Arthur Weasley.

It's his fault for reporting me for possessing Dark Magic items all the time. If it were discovered that his daughter was also possessing Dark Magic items, it would be a huge joke.

But... I swear to God!

He only wanted to affect the Weasley family's reputation, and had no idea that the diary had such great power, and even almost caused more than one murder.

Fortunately, no one died, and the only piece of evidence is silent, otherwise the Malfoy family would definitely be in considerable trouble.

Lucius composed himself, resisting the urge to draw his Wand, and turned around with feigned composure. "Let's go, Dobby."

Dobby turned the doorknob for the man, then was kicked out by Lucius, letting out a painful scream.

Seeing this, Harry felt a little sorry for him. "Principal, can I have this diary?"

"Okay," Dumbledore nodded. "But you'll have to be quick."

Harry immediately grabbed the diary, rushed out of the Headmaster's Office, and as he went downstairs, he quickly took off one of his socks and tucked it inside the diary.

The House Elf needs a piece of clothing from a human to gain his freedom. He doesn't know if this method will work, but he has to try anyway.

"Malfoy, first." Harry caught up with the two in the corridor Headmaster's Office, panting as he shoved the diary into Lucius's arms. "This is your stuff."

"I don't know what you're talking about?"

Lucius would never admit it, but he still accepted the diary and casually tossed it into Dobby's hands.

Although this evidence is no longer considered evidence, it's still better to keep it in my own hands. I'll deal with it when I get back, burning it to ashes with the Fiendfyre Curse before I can be at ease.

"Let's go, Dobby."

"Open it," Harry whispered to Yu.

Dobby groggily opened the diary and stared blankly at the smelly socks inside, as if they were priceless treasures.

"The man gave Dobby sock."

"What? I didn't give it to him..." Lucius turned around and looked Dobby the black socks in Dobby's hand, unsure of what to say.

"The people gave Dobby clothes." Dobby clutched his socks. "Dobby is free!"

Lucius suddenly seemed to remember something and turned to look at Harry Potter.

Sure enough, Harry adjusted his clothes, revealing his bare ankles.

"You've made me lose my servant."

Lucius roared, drew his wand from his Wand, and strode toward Harry Potter.

Dobby stepped forward and said, "You're not allowed to hurt Harry Potter."

A beam of blue light emanated from Dobby's hand, sending Lucius, who was about to swing his Wand, flying backward.

After being struck, Lucius calmed down, stood up, put his Wand back into his staff, and coldly looked at Harry, saying, "You and your mother are both meddlesome fools."

Remember my words, Potter, one day you will be like them.

After uttering a harsh remark, Lucius turned and left.

"Harry Potter gave Dobby freedom." Dobby looked into Harry's green eyes and asked softly, "How Dobby repay him?"

Harry grinned. "There's only one thing: stop thinking about saving me."

Dobby smiled sheepishly, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.

Harry looked at the House-elf's bright but not particularly beautiful smile and suddenly thought of something. "Dobby, you are free, but you are also homeless."

Do you know where we should go?

Dobby moment, then looked at Harry seriously, "Can Dobby follow you?"

"Me? That won't do." Harry refused without hesitation. "Listen, Dobby, I sympathize with you and I really want to help you."

But you know the Vernon; they don't just hate magic, they absolutely wouldn't welcome a House Elf.

"If you stay with me, you'll only be abused. Forget about supporting yourself; you might be taken to Azkaban the very next day."

"In that case..." Dobby trembled as he put on the Harry socks and added his first piece of clothing. "Dobby should go find a job."

Harry hesitated, though he was young, he wasn't completely ignorant.

Given the Malfoy family's influence, Dobby's job search was likely to be anything but easy.

"How about we try going to find Aaron?" Harry said thoughtfully. Although the Gaius family was not well-known, their strength was definitely not weaker than that of the Malfoy.

"Is this... really okay?" Dobby asked Dobby some surprise.

"It should be fine, right?"
