The Fifth Layer's Perspective-Can't Even Imitate Handwriting?
"I don't understand, Headmaster," Snape asked with a stern face, "Why would you be interested in something like this?"
"I just want to learn more about the heir to the Gaius family." A wise glint flashed in Dumbledore's eyes as he smiled. "I believe you can also see that he is somewhat wary of me, the headmaster, at Hogwarts."
Upon hearing this, Snape silently scoffed inwardly.
It's perfectly normal to be wary of someone who's always trying to drag others onto their treacherous path.
"Principal, I hope this won't happen again."
"Severus," Dumbledore comforted her, "He trusts you, and he sent you out this time just in case."
After the first Defense Against the Dark Arts, news of Lupin's experiment with the Boggart will spread.
Aaron is a gifted Warlock, and with the power of his family, he could definitely find a way to block Boggart's detection and hide his inner fear if he wanted to.
"Does this make any sense?" Snape looked at him angrily. "As it turns out, it makes absolutely no sense."
"On the contrary, it makes a lot of sense," Dumbledore said seriously. "You know Trelawney's Prophecy, and he might surpass all of us in the future, once he goes astray..."
"Enough, Headmaster A." Snape stood up from his chair. "He is my student, and don't you think you're thinking too far ahead?"
He has a very high talent level, but it will probably take him at least a decade to truly develop!
"Not long after, he's already Magus, and only half a year away from becoming Archmage," Dumbledore said seriously. "He could very well become Archmage before the end of the year. A grand Archmage at thirteen, do you know what that means?"
Snape paused for a moment, suppressed his shock, and slowly sat back down.
If Dumbledore's statement is true, it means that Aaron won't need more than a dozen years to grow up, just a few years, and he won't be much weaker than his teacher before graduation.
"Now you understand, it's only a matter of time before Voldemort returns, and his power will play a crucial role then."
"But you never considered whether he was willing or not," Snape said, somewhat displeased.
"He probably doesn't want to," Dumbledore awkward smile. "However, we still have enough time to change his mind before Voldemort is fully resurrected."
Severus, I know he's your favorite student, but we really need a strong ally.
If Voldemort were to return, it would unleash an unprecedented upheaval, and the Phoenix Society alone would be hardly capable of dealing with his forces.
Snape was silent for a moment, then picked up the cup of honey tea and took a small sip.
"What if he doesn't change his mind?"
"Then I can only express my regret." Dumbledore sighed. "I will not force anyone to do anything, I can assure you of that."
"This is the most pitiful thing."
Meanwhile, in the Slytherin common room.
Aaron suddenly shivered, and the Thought Form sitting opposite him practicing the ultimate Magic Array also felt an inexplicable malice.
Aaron and the Thought Form exchanged a glance, and Aaron couldn't help but touch his nose. "There are always treacherous subjects trying to harm me."
"I feel the same way."
They were unaware of Snape and Dumbledore's conversation. If they had known, they would have certainly complained about the darkness of Hogwarts, while also being glad they had fooled Dumbledore's eyes.
When retracting the Thought Form, wear the Demon Sealing Ring to suppress half of the thought's magic power. When using the Thought Form, remove the Demon Sealing Ring and give half of your own power to the Thought Form. This way, you can perfectly hide your strength.
Dumbledore thought he was standing on the third floor, but little did he know that Aaron was actually standing on the first floor.
The first Defense Against the Dark Arts was a complete success. With Gryffindor's intentional or unintentional promotion, Professor Lupin's reputation soared, and he gained recognition from more and more people.
For the next period of time, Professor Lupin taught everyone how to deal with Red Cap (a kind of House-elf- like creature) and Kappa (a reptile that lives in water).
Compared to the dedicated Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, Lupin was clearly more respected, and no one cared that he wore patched clothes.
However, some Slytherin had a problem with Professor Lupin, after all, he had humiliated the Slytherin headmaster with Boggart during his first class.
Neville Longbottom also paid the price for his actions, being relentlessly targeted by Professor Snape in Potions Class, with points being deducted and fault-findings being made in various ways.
On October 16th, the Prophecy about Rad Brown came true: her rabbit was killed by a fox, which was exactly what she had been most worried about.
At this point, Aaron had a clear understanding of Trelawney's Divination abilities and finally made a choice among the elective courses, deciding to give up the Arithmancy course.
He just didn't really like interpreting tea leaves; the process of this Divination was rather complicated, and the results were rather vague.
Compared to other methods, palmistry and Crystal Ball are more worthwhile to learn.
Professor Trelawney had high hopes for him, believing that he would eventually awaken the Divination's ' Heavenly Eye ' and become a capable Divination.
On Halloween Eve, most of the third-grade students changed into casual clothes and prepared to leave school for Hogsmeade Village for the weekend.
Aaron left the Thought Form in the dormitory and carried Abei out.
Draco sat on the sofa in the Common Room waiting for him, with Crabbe and Goyle standing on either side of him like two iron towers.
"I really don't know what you're doing locking yourself in your dorm all by yourself?" Draco frowned, noticing the dark circles under Aaron's eyes. "Are you having insomnia?"
"No," Aaron yawned. "It's just that I've been working on a huge project lately, a really huge project, and I've been putting a lot of energy into it, to the point of neglecting sleep and meals."
"Is it some kind of special magic?" Draco asked with interest.
"No, if I succeed, the pressure of my life and studies at Hogwarts will decrease by at least 30%." Aaron smiled mysteriously. "Your arm should be healed by now, so why haven't you taken off the bandages?"
"This is a tactic." Draco raised an eyebrow smugly. "The first Quidditch Match is Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. If the Seeker is injured, there's a reason to switch opponents with Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, thus delaying the match. This way, Oliver Wood's tactics against Slytherin will be completely ineffective."
Hufflepuff's captain Cedric Diggory quite outstanding, so Flint decided to switch places with the Hufflepuff and let them fight Gryffindor.
"That tactic was a little dirty," Aaron said with some disdain.
"Then you should join the cadet team. If you're willing to join, Flint will immediately give you the captain's position."
Aaron:...
"Cough cough!"
It doesn't matter if the tactics are dirty or not, as long as we win.
"That's what we think too," Draco said with a smile.
Outside the castle, hundreds of students gathered.
Professor McGonagall patiently explained the precautions, while Filch collected the students' permission forms next to her, making sure they had a parent's or guardian's signature before letting them out.
"Remember that going to Hogsmeade Village is an honor, and those who perform well in school will no longer enjoy this special treatment."
"I'm sorry, Professor," Neville stammered, raising his right hand. "I... I think I've lost my permit form."
"Your grandmother sent the watch directly to me, Longbottom," Professor McGonagall said with a hint of exasperation. "She seems to think it's safer that way."
At that moment, Harry Potter walked up to Professor McGonagall with his permission form, but before he could speak, Professor McGonagall interrupted him, "You can't go to that village without signing the consent form."
"That's the rule, Potter."
"Those who have signed the form, come with me. Those who haven't signed, don't come." Filch added insult to injury, then led the team ahead on his own.
Harry quickly stopped Professor McGonagall, "If you sign, then I can..."
"I cannot sign; only parents or guardians can."
"I'm neither, so I can't sign." Professor McGonagall looked at Harry with some sympathy. "I'm sorry, Potter, my decision won't change."
Harry looked particularly dejected as he held the permit form.
"Stay here, Potter," Draco said mockingly as he walked over. "But it's a good thing for you, at least you won't have to face those Dementor."
"Draco." Aaron glared at him speechlessly.
Draco shrugged dejectedly and followed the group with Crabbe and Goyle.
"Although I don't want to say it, I have to Harry... what he said makes sense."
Don't forget, Sirius Black Black is still looking for you. You'd better not leave the castle before you catch him.
"But..."
"No buts, think about what Trauny said was ominous."
"That might not be true," Hermione interjected, annoyed.
"It's better to be safe than sorry," Aaron said seriously. "Safety first, he should stay in the castle."
Harry hesitated for a long time before reluctantly nodding.
"We'll bring you lots of sugar candies from Honeydukes," Ron reassured her. "You'll be able to see them at the dinner party, and we'll also tell you about the fun things to do in Hogsmeade. Once Sirius Black is caught, you can go there directly."
Harry sighed slightly, then picked up the unsigned permission form. "Even if Sirius Black is arrested, I can't go. My guardian won't agree."
"We can use Invisibility Cloak," Ron suggested.
"Let's talk about it later!"
"By the way, why don't you forge your aunt's handwriting to sign?" Aaron asked, somewhat puzzled. "You're Gryffindor, this shouldn't be too much of a burden for you!"
Upon hearing this, Harry's expression became quite interesting.
He had forgotten about this trick, but it was too late now; Professor McGonagall already knew no one would sign it for him.
"Alright! It seems you didn't think about it."
If you feel bored, you can go find Professor Lupin; I think he'd be happy to teach you how to use the Patronus Charm.
Harry nodded; he had the same idea. Once he learned the Patronus Charm, he wouldn't have to worry about Dementor anymore, and Malfoy wouldn't be able to stop the Dementor from mocking him.
