Kindred? Five Different Adult Dragons
"That's too much." Harry lowered his voice, his face showing an unprecedented sense of grievance.
"I warned you not to read this newspaper."
However... she did survive. You were forced to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, but she wrote that nothing in the competition could hurt me, my mother gave me strength, and they would protect me from the shadows.
I can only say "I admire" after hearing about this level of awareness.
"I don't cry often at night either," Harry said speechlessly. "I miss my mother very much, but before coming to Hogwarts I didn't even know what they looked like."
"Let me see."
Hermione took the newspaper from Harry's hand, and soon her face turned extremely pale.
"Are you kidding me? When did I become your first love?"
"I'd like to know too, but obviously Rita Skeeter won't answer us."
"Calm down. At least Rita described you as stunningly beautiful and a top student at school."
"But I'm really not Harry's girlfriend, you should know that," Hermione said angrily, with a hint of worry in her voice that she herself didn't realize.
"Uh... that's how unscrupulous companies are. They should be gone after a while."
But Harry, I remember I helped you out a few days ago! How come you still got interviewed?
"Oh, this..."
After an awkward silence, Harry finally spoke, "After taking the photos, the rest of us were about to leave. I was the last one, but Rita Skeeter blocked the door."
Aaron blinked, saying nothing, but his gaze towards Biha Harry held a mixture of pity and disdain.
Damn it! You couldn't even be a good candidate for this!
"This isn't my fault. Besides, she didn't mention Hermione in her interview with me. She must have heard from other people that we were close and then made it up." Harry pointed at the news in the newspaper and said indignantly, "She's targeting me. The four of you combined can't even make up a sentence. Your photo and name have never appeared."
"Go! Good luck with your recovery."
Before the competition, you will be the center of everyone's attention.
It seems Ron was more prescient; he was giving you the cold shoulder, otherwise Skeeter would definitely have written about him in the newspaper.
"Don't mention him to me," Harry said sarcastically. "He's probably regretting missing out on a chance to become famous!"
"Ignore everyone else," Hermione said calmly, taking a deep breath. "Just pretend this newspaper doesn't exist."
"You can't say that," Aaron said with a smile to Harry Potter. "If you have someone you like, you should explain your relationship with Hermione to her clearly, otherwise it's easy to cause misunderstandings."
Harry paused for a moment, thinking of Ravenclaw's Seeker Cho Zhang, and a sudden pallor appeared on his face.
Two weeks passed quickly, and there were only two days left until the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament.
The five Champion felt that more attention was being paid to them.
Cedric both excited and nervous, surrounded by admirers at all times.
Phoebe remained calm and confident, as if the dangerous competition events were insignificant.
Harry looked worried, concerned about his fate two days from now.
However, he had already informed Sirius Black Black owl that they would have a face-to-face meeting that night, which was currently his only lifeline.
As for Aaron and Krum, who were completely unrelated, they would go to the library whenever they had free time. However, Aaron was not surrounded by many people because the Slytherin respected his opinion and tacitly did not disturb him. But Krum's Celebrity Effect meant that he was surrounded by girls.
"How sad!" Aaron shook his head at Krum. He could sense that the great star didn't like this atmosphere, but he didn't refuse, or rather, he knew that refusing wouldn't make a difference.
Just then, Abei, who was dozing on the table, suddenly opened its eyes. It stood up, sniffed the air for a while, and then let out a deep roar.
Aaron was startled, and his hand, which was inscribing Forbidden Magic, trembled involuntarily.
"Damn it! All that effort I put in for over an hour!"
You'd better give me a perfect explanation, or you won't get any late-night snacks this month.
"Someone's coming." Abei's face was serious.
"Who?" Aaron looked around. Anyone who could make the Holy Dragon so wary must be no small fry.
"Similar."
"You mean... a dragon?" Aaron swallowed.
"That's right, it smells very similar to the Dragon Hagrid kept a few years ago, and there's more than one."
Hearing this, Aaron's heart was filled with gloom.
If it were just one dragon, it could be explained as a coincidence, but the fact that it was several dragons forced him to connect it with the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament.
Whatever the First Task may be, anything related to dragons, magical creatures at the top of the food chain, is bound to be anything but simple.
Barty Crouch once said that the First Task would test Champion's courage and ability to deal with danger... Could it be dragon fighting?
Even considering this possibility, Aaron found it hard to remain calm.
He had killed dragons before, but unless it was a monstrous Magic Dragon like Smaug that had lived for countless ages, other dragons posed no threat to him. Dragon-Slaying Magic was no joke.
The problem is that he has placed too many limitations on himself. Fighting dragons on the field will be much more difficult than he expected.
"Phew! Where are they?" Aaron asked, but a moment later he realized the question was somewhat redundant.
Dragons, such dangerous Magical Creatures, certainly cannot be kept in Hogwarts Castle. The only place that can accommodate them is the Forbidden Forest, and there is only one person who can take care of them: Hagrid, the Hagrid ranger.
"Looks like we need to make some plans," Aaron thought to himself. He lost interest in practicing Magic Array and left the library with Abei in his arms.
After curfew that night, the door to the Slytherin Common Room suddenly opened.
Aaron cast Disillusionment Charm on himself and then used Illusion Projection as an extra layer of protection before heading towards the Forbidden Forest with the dragon.
Abei, smelling the scent of the creature, flew through the air to guide its master.
As they passed Beauxbatons ' carriage, they unexpectedly saw Hagrid. He was dressed more elegantly than usual, with no pungent odor, and his hair was neatly combed. He also wore a strange yellow garland on his chest.
"Tsk tsk tsk! Looks like we've come at the wrong time!" Aaron shook his head. He knew without a doubt that Hagrid had come to ask Maxime out.
However, arranging for someone to come out in the middle of the night is somewhat inappropriate.
"Master, there's someone else with Hagrid!" Abei suddenly said.
"What?"
Aaron paused for a moment, then stared intently at the direction.
He hadn't noticed it before, but Abei's reminder made him immediately alert.
Harry Potter is definitely Harry Potter wearing Invisibility Cloak.
It seems he wasn't the only one gathering intelligence late at night!
Madam Maxime alighted from the carriage, and she and Hagrid chatted and laughed as they walked toward the Forbidden Forest.
"Follow them." Aaron made a quick decision, pulling Abei down from mid-air and carefully following behind the two.
After circling around the edge of the Forbidden Forest for a long time, they heard a deafening roar.
Abei was particularly excited at this moment, and spread his wings to fly over, but Aaron held him down tightly.
He could understand Abei's feelings. He had only ever seen one dragon, Norbert, in his entire life, and now that he had the chance to see other dragons, he couldn't help but be a little excited.
Before long, Hagrid and Maxime stopped.
In front of them was a huge arena where five enormous adult Dragon were imprisoned, the smallest of which was twenty or thirty meters long.
Their legs and necks were chained, and dozens of Warlock were divided into five groups to hold them down.
Puffs of Dragon Fire spewed from their mouths, illuminating the nearby night sky.
"Welsh Green Dragon, Chinese Fireball, Swedish Short-Snout Dragon, Hungarian Horntail Dragon, Antipodean Opaleye Dragon," Aaron murmured. He had only seen these dragons in his encyclopedia before; he never expected to see them in person.
"Stay there, Hagrid," shouted a Warlock holding a chain. "They can breathe fire up to twenty feet away, and I've seen this Tree Peak Dragon breathe fire up to forty feet away."
Aaron noted down this data; if he were to fight the Tree Peak Dragon, he would have to maintain a safe distance of fifty feet.
"Recite the Stunning Spell, count to three, and recite it all at once," a Warlock shouted.
The Warlock in front of each dragon simultaneously pulled out their Wand, counted "one, two, three," and chanted in unison, "Stupefy."
Each dragon was hit with at least seven Stunning Spell before it gradually calmed down and slowly lay down on the ground.
Their mouths were wide open, and black smoke mixed with Mars billowed from their nostrils.
The dragon trainers put down their Wand and, while the dragons slept, reinforced the chains, securing them firmly to the iron posts, and then used their Wand to drive the posts into the ground.
"How are things, Hagrid?" Charlie Weasley, one of Ron's brothers, came over. "They should be fine now. We gave them Sleeping Draught."
I thought waking them up at night would make them feel better, but it seems they're not happy at all.
"What kinds are there, Charlie?"
"Hungarian Horntail, Welsh Green Dragon, Swedish Short-Snout Dragon, Chinese Fireball, and Antipodean Opaleye Dragon."
Maxime began to stroll around the enclosure, seemingly wanting to observe each dragon up close.
Charlie frowned when he saw this.
"Hagrid, why did you bring her along?"
She'll definitely tell her students, but the Champion shouldn't know this before the game.
"Just to see it for myself." Hagrid stared fascinated at the dragons. "The competition isn't going to be about fighting dragons, is it?"
"Probably not, that would be an almost impossible task for the Champion."
I think I'll just pass by them, but that depends on luck. I just hope I don't run into the Hungarian Horntail Dragon, which is the most dangerous.
These are all female dragons that will be incubating their eggs; we also brought a nest of Dragon Egg with us.
"Dragon Egg?" Hagrid's eyes flashed with a strange light and a deep longing, and he couldn't help but groan.
"I've counted Hagrid, so you'd better not get any funny ideas," Charlie warned helplessly, clearly aware of Hagrid's obsession with dragons.
