Stalling for Time, Immortal Divine Power
"Trying to buy time, is that it?" Voldemort looked at him with a half-smile. "You think Dumbledore will come to your rescue, don't you?"
Upon hearing this, Aaron's pupils trembled violently, and he immediately feigned surprise.
"Looks like I guessed right," Voldemort said smugly, then changed the subject, "Unfortunately, he can't find this place."
However, I do hope he can find this place. It's rather pathetic that the only audience witnessing the Dark Lord's return consists of Death Eater and a few students like you.
"If the White Lord could come, that would be perfect. He's powerful enough, and his death would cast a shadow over the entire Magic World, making my subsequent rule easier."
"Don't even think about it," Harry shouted. "Dumbledore will definitely defeat you."
"Idiot!" Aaron thought to himself, speechless, not understanding what benefit Harry could gain from boosting his account status at this point.
"Cruciatus Curse!" Voldemort immediately cast the Cruciatus Curse on him. After the agonizing torture subsided, he calmly said, "Get your facts straight, Harry Potter, but I'll deal with you later!"
"Aaron Gaius, let the Dark Lords shatter your unrealistic fantasies!" Voldemort said calmly, then turned to the Death Eater. "If you all come at me together, we can use one method."
Whoever brings him to me first will have the thirteen cents of debt forgiven and will receive Voldemort's reward.
Upon hearing this, the thirty-odd Death Eater were stunned for a moment, and then their eyes were filled with greed as they looked at Aaron.
"We have to help him," Cedric said earnestly, his shoulder wound still dripping blood, the constant loss of blood making him pale and his vision blurry.
He gripped his Wand tightly in his left hand, his attitude unusually resolute.
Viktor and Phoebe nodded in unison. They had a clear understanding of their own strength. They might be able to deal with one or two Death Eater, but there were dozens of Death Eater here, and they were definitely no match for them.
It seemed the outcome was already predetermined; they faced only two dead ends.
They either fight and die a glorious death, or they stand aside and Voldemort kills several of them in front of Aaron after he is defeated.
As Champion in the Triwizard Tournament, choosing the first path is a fitting tribute to their pride.
The three quickly stood beside Aaron, facing the Death Eater who outnumbered them tenfold.
Before Aaron could speak, Phoebe interrupted, "Don't rush to send us away. We may not be as powerful as you, but we have more magical energy."
"It won't be of much help, but it can at least help you withstand a few spells," Cedric said.
"If we're going to die, we'll die before you," Krum added.
Aaron was speechless. "I'm trying to save your lives, but what's with your eagerness to die?"
"Let's begin!" Voldemort said calmly, and more than thirty Death Eater charged toward Aaron in unison.
"This is forcing me to fight with my life!" Aaron smiled sadly, then quickly turned around and waved his Wand, sending Cedric and the other two flying.
"What are you doing?" Cedric shouted angrily.
"Don't be so righteous about dragging me down. Your presence will only affect my performance," Aaron said calmly, then continued forward with his unchanging pace.
Before the Death Eater even arrived, a deluge of curses rained down.
Aaron slowly raised his hand, and a huge yellow Magic Array appeared, blocking his way.
The colorful and deadly spells struck the Defense Magic Array, producing a crackling sound.
This is a high-level defensive spell; under normal circumstances, even Archmage wouldn't be able to break through it quickly.
There were dozens of Archmage attacking them, and Aaron was struggling to keep up. He could only stabilize his magic output and try to withstand the attacks while thinking of other solutions.
"Bombard with magic, don't disconnect."
One of the Death Eater roared, and his Wand unleashed a blue shockwave the size of a bowl.
Several Death Eater began to follow suit, striking the Defense Magic Array with seven or eight beams of magical energy, and the number kept increasing.
Click! Click!
Cracks began to appear in the Magic Array, and magical power with properties such as cutting, cursing, sleeping, paralyzing, and petrifying flowed out through the cracks.
Aaron was forced to retreat step by step, forcibly squeezing out the magic power within his body to prevent the Magic Array from collapsing.
"Thought Form," Aaron cried out anxiously in his heart, revealing his current situation to the other party.
"I'm ready. You can take me back anytime you want."
"Not yet, I need your magic."
"But then you'll still only be Archmage, no match for dozens of Death Eater."
"Do as I say, you have an even more important task ahead of you."
Aaron knew that simply using the Thought Form as a power bank wouldn't solve the current predicament.
Voldemort was only happy to watch the show because he was a Voldemort Archmage; if Voldemort suddenly became a Grand Archmage, Voldemort would definitely take action himself.
These dozens of Death Eater combined are no match for a peak Grand Magus, so the situation will be even more dangerous then.
The Thought Form sighed silently, transferring 99% of its magic power to its main body, leaving itself with only basic mobility.
Aaron felt the magic surging up, and he felt more confident facing dozens of Death Eater.
The advanced Defense Magic Array was instantly stabilized, and based on this, the ultimate Defense Magic Array was inscribed, with layers of complex coils slowly emerging on the inner ring, outer ring, and star.
Golden light illuminated the night, and a magical shield more than ten meters high separated Aaron and the Death Eater like an indestructible wall.
Voldemort watched this scene with great interest. "That's right, that's it."
Harry Potter, did you see that?
Two years ago, he almost shattered my soul with an offensive Magic Array of the same level.
I was puzzled before, since two years had clearly passed, but his Magic Power hadn't increased much. Now it seems he's been using his time and energy to upgrade his Magic Array.
Harry was also secretly amazed, utterly shocked.
Two years ago, the lightning Magic Array left a deep impression on him; it even caused a significant earthquake in Chamber of Secrets.
However, Aaron spent a great deal of time and used the blood of the Basilisk to barely complete that magic circle.
But what he saw next was that in less than an hour, without using any materials, an ultimate Magic Array was completed, even blocking the attacks of dozens of Death Eater. This was simply unbelievable.
Harry suddenly remembered that Aaron seemed to carry a notebook with him wherever he went, and he would constantly write and draw on it.
At the time, they all thought it was a top student organizing class notes, so they didn't pay any attention. Now it seems that it wasn't notes at all, but Magic Array practice manual. No wonder no one was allowed to see it.
The three of Cedric stared blankly at the scene, involuntarily swallowing hard.
For the first time, they felt like they were useless, and it was truly not unjust to be called a burden. With just a few of them participating in this battle, they probably wouldn't even be able to make a splash.
"Master, his talent is too strong, should we..." Barty Crouch Jr. said hesitantly, then made a throat-slitting gesture.
"No need. The spokesperson I choose can't be some ordinary genius; they have to be extraordinary."
Besides, there's a huge gap between Archmage and Grand Archmage. Unless he's currently Grand Archmage and can use magic of that level at will, he poses no threat to me whatsoever.
"But what about his growth rate?"
"Why do you think I want to subdue him?" Voldemort said sagely. "Gaius is the Warlock family that values the spirit of contracts the most. Once they swear allegiance, their loyalty is absolutely superior to that of the Death Eater."
I will have enough patience until he grows to the level of Grand Archmage, but if he still doesn't know when to stop after that, then he can't blame me.
The Dark Lord's grand scheme cannot afford any instability.
"Master is wise," Barty Crouch Jr. said with a smile.
Aaron was unaware of the conversation between the master and servant, but if he had known, he would have secretly admired his foresight.
"System, the two tasks should be considered complete, right?"
"Certainly."
"Claim the reward, and then... Dog Talisman, hurry up."
At the same time, the Thought Form that was restoring magic power in the Divine Thunder Hall suddenly sensed something and turned its head to look at the ground.
A Shadow Ninja was kneeling before him, holding a talisman in his pale blue hands, on which was a yellow puppy.
Holy crap!
The Thought Form immediately dispelled the sleepiness, and the person picked up the talisman and silently recited the incantation to absorb it.
This should be the more important task the original body mentioned. As long as he obtains the Immortal Divine Power, even if he is captured alive, he will still have a chance to turn the tide.
A small dog pattern flashing white light appeared in the pupils of the Thought Form, and the Dog Talisman instantly became unremarkable, as if it were just an ordinary stone that could be crushed with a pinch.
"It feels comfortable, and I instantly feel safe."
From this point on, the Magic World can be considered to have a foothold. The Thought Form didn't show much excitement, just made a simple remark, and then lazily sat down on the sofa.
I still need to restore my magic power, but the sense of urgency from before is gone.
Aaron, who was struggling to maintain the Magic Array, also sensed something at this moment, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up slightly.
Having gained Immortal Divine Power, he now has no scruples and can recklessly risk his life, even against Voldemort...
Aaron immediately cut off the idea halfway through his thought. He absolutely couldn't make that promise again, especially since Voldemort was still here!
If he discovers that I am immortal, then all my knowledge will be forgotten, and it's not impossible that he might capture me and experiment on me.
Voldemort, who had been watching Aaron closely, noticed Aaron's expression and a hint of doubt appeared on his face. He then sneered, "Looks like I've been too lenient. I haven't put enough pressure on you!"
Voldemort raised his Wand and casually aimed it at Aaron, sending a thick white beam of light hurtling straight at him.
