Holy Dragon Patronus, at the End of the Road
The massive Magic Array instantly became covered in cracks and shattered in the blink of an eye.
Ultimate Defense Magic corresponds to the magic that Grand Archmage can conjure. As long as the magic supply is not a problem, it can barely defend against an attack by dozens of Death Eater.
But Voldemort was a Grand Archmage Peak, and once he went all out, it was like adding a weight to the scales of victory.
"A generous gift of crabs!"
Aaron cursed and immediately created a high-level Defense Magic Array in front of him.
The next moment, a terrifying shockwave exploded in front of Aaron, blasting him and all the nearby Death Eater away.
As the smoke cleared, the group of Death Eater closer to the explosion's epicenter staggered to their feet, while the Death Eater further away, though not in such a sorry state, were also covered in soot.
While everyone marveled at Voldemort's magic, they couldn't help but turn their gaze to Aaron.
He knelt on the ground, his hands trembling slightly, and a hideous wound on his left arm was constantly oozing blood.
"I never thought that the mighty Voldemort would resort to sneak attacks."
And the target of that sneak attack was a fifteen-year-old child; they had absolutely no manners.
"I'm just making you understand the difference in strength," Voldemort said unhurriedly. "It's getting dark, and I'm getting a little impatient with you dragging this on for so long."
"Heh!" Aaron sneered, took out a small bottle from his pocket, and sprinkled the clear liquid inside onto the wound, which instantly Reparo.
"The Phoenix Tears," Voldemort said through gritted teeth.
"You have good taste. This was something I picked up when Abei and I were bullying Fawkes. I didn't expect it to be so popular so quickly."
"What are you still standing there for?" Voldemort said unhappily.
"Hold on!"
Just as the Death Eater were about to attack again, Aaron stopped them.
He slowly stood up, opened the chamber of the gun with the Lycoris lily, and loaded seven silver-white bullets and one red-gold bullet with red patterns.
"It's ready now."
The Death Eater looked at each other, quickly realizing they had been tricked, and anger immediately welled up inside them.
They could only watch helplessly as Aaron healed, since he also spoke with Voldemort during the healing process. Even if they had a few more lives, they wouldn't dare to interrupt Voldemort.
But then they broke down, and Aaron loaded eight bullets into the Lycoris right in front of them.
They had witnessed the power of that gun firsthand; one shot could take down a Archmage, and if the eight bullets were used skillfully, it meant that eight Death Eater would be in mortal danger.
"A bunch of cowards," Barty Crouch Jr. said disdainfully. "Don't they even consider how much magic he has left? He can't replicate his previous power."
Upon hearing this, the Death Eater were immediately relieved, and their gazes toward Aaron were filled with amusement.
Lucius was in the same situation, except that he was far from Aaron's position, ranking third to last among the Death Eater.
Aaron took a deep breath and strode forward, meeting the charging Death Eater head-on.
This time he didn't use any defensive magic, partly because his own energy consumption was running low, and partly because Voldemort wouldn't give him a chance to cheat.
A red spell shot out from one side, hurtling towards them.
This is Blasting Curse; it can blast anything that can be touched, and it is extremely dangerous.
Aaron immediately used his Wand to block, but at that moment several more spells shot over at the same time, all as swift as lightning.
"The Fire Dragon's Roar".
Crimson flames spewed from its mouth, engulfing the spells and forcing the Death Eater who released them to retreat, while even more Death Eater surrounded it.
Aaron shook his head, tucked the Wand into his waistband, and put away the Lycoris.
"I'm no match for so many people. If you want to capture me, you'd better be prepared."
"If I were to go all out and risk everything, I'm pretty confident I'd succeed. Want to give it a try?"
The Death Eater didn't believe this and immediately launched an attack, unleashing a barrage of highly destructive spells from all directions.
He ran swiftly, dodging the spells as he approached the nearest Death Eater.
"McNeil? What a coincidence!" Aaron sneered. "The Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
The flame-encased right fist struck McNeil squarely in the abdomen, sending him flying backward at incredible speed until he crashed into a tombstone dozens of meters away, completely destroying his fighting ability.
"The first one."
Rumble!
Aaron ground shook continuously, and a crater suddenly appeared beneath Aaron's feet.
"It's done."
One of the Death Eater shouted excitedly, stabbing his Wand into the ground, revealing that the trap he had just set was his doing.
But his joy lasted only three seconds before a huge, earthen-yellow Magic Array enveloped him, and countless thorny chains bound his body and limbs.
"The second one."
A curse came from behind, but Aaron directly shattered it with his fist enveloped in flames.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible."
"Attack together. He's alone and has exhausted his resources; he can't withstand all our attacks."
One of the Death Eater shouted, encouraging others and himself.
A spell was launched from the front, Aaron quickly raised his hands, "Dragon's Blazing Flame."
The flames and the seven spells collided, subtly overwhelming the Death Eater.
At that moment, two spells suddenly appeared on the left and right sides, forcing Aaron to extinguish his flames and leap high to avoid the two attacks.
A green Magic Array appeared instantly, and a huge storm descended from the sky.
The terrifying impact blew the surrounding Death Eater more than ten meters away, clearing a space.
Aaron had barely landed, and before he could even catch his breath, more than ten spells suddenly attacked, blocking all his escape routes from all directions.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Death Eater let out triumphant laughter, and Cedric and the others couldn't help but turn their heads away, clearly not believing that Aaron could withstand so many spells.
Suddenly, a dazzling silver light appeared where Aaron was standing, followed by the roar of a dragon.
The Patronus in the form of Holy Dragon appeared in this world for the first time, protecting Aaron in the middle and blocking those spells.
Everyone felt their worldview crumbling. They had seen Patronus before, but they had never seen Patronus this exaggerated before. There was nothing so exaggerated in the entire Magic World, not even Dumbledore.
"This is fake, it must be fake," Barty Crouch Jr. murmured. "Master, Dementor have appeared in the Triwizard Tournament, and Gaius's Patronus is a raven."
"Who says there can only be one Patronus? And who says Patronus can only serve a protective function?" Aaron said meaningfully, and immediately ordered the Patronus to launch an attack.
After all, the Holy Dragon Patronus consumes a lot of magic power, and staying even a second longer would be a shameful waste.
The Holy Dragon roared to the sky, flapped its pure and crystal-clear wings, grabbed the nearest Death Eater in its hand, and crushed him to death in the blink of an eye.
Dark Dragon Fire spewed from his mouth, and the Death Eater, feeling the terrifying temperature, immediately raised their Wand in defense, some even using Apparition to create distance.
Various spells shot towards the Holy Dragon from all directions, creating tiny holes in its energy body. Aaron's magic would then overflow from his body to repair it.
The Holy Dragon hovered above Aaron's head, providing Aaron with some protection when the Dragon Fire attacked the Death Eater. The spells aimed at him were burned to ashes by the radiant light before they could even get close.
Almost every minute, a Death Eater was seriously injured or even killed, but Voldemort didn't seem to care at all.
He eked out a living for thirteen years, and none of these people came looking for him. Did they really think he had no temper?
Thirteen years of time allowed him to see some things clearly. Unwavering loyalty was dispensable to him; death was no big deal.
Barty Crouch Jr. Crouch., and the Death Eater imprisoned in Azkaban, were his true loyal servants.
Lucius has confirmed that he has been contacted, so he can be trusted to a certain extent, but not too much. We'll have to see how he performs next.
Aaron's breathing became rapid and his breath became unsteady, a clear sign of weakness.
"He can't hold on much longer!" a Death Eater shouted excitedly. "His Patronus is fading."
"You really underestimated me!" Aaron laughed, quickly pulling out the Lycoris. A silver bullet shot out and instantly struck the Death Eater in the abdomen.
Blood splattered, but this time there were no flames; however, the howling of the wind clearly reached his ears.
Immediately following, a tearing pain spread throughout his body, as if he had been struck by several Splitting Charm.
The moment he landed, his eyes welled up with tears. He bounced a few times in a very unsightly manner before completely losing consciousness.
"We have to move faster." Aaron looked up at the weakened Holy Dragon and subconsciously gripped the Flintlock Gun in his hand.
Silver light shot out continuously from the muzzle of the gun. Aaron dared not use his full strength now, only pouring in less than a hundred Magical Energy each time. Just as he had told the Thought Form before, he would not be stingy when it was time to use it.
He fired five shots in quick succession, killing two Death Eater and breaking the arm of another.
However, his magic power was reduced to less than one-tenth, and even his Patronus could not maintain it.
With more than half of the Death Eater dead or wounded, the remaining ones began to slowly approach Aaron.
"This is really tragic." Aaron gasped for breath, collapsing to the ground, utterly exhausted.
"Cruciatus Curse!" A Death Eater swiftly approached and decisively cast the Cruciatus Curse, as if afraid of having his head stolen.
"Expelliarmus."
Aaron preemptively knocked his Wand away, then lunged at him, the muzzle of his gun pressed against his forehead.
"No, don't do it," the Death Eater said nervously. "I didn't mean to kill you, I really didn't."
"So you wanted to torture me, even uttering the Cruciatus Curse? How cruel are you!" Aaron said coldly, then pulled the trigger, ending his life.
"Stupefy!" ×3
The three Death Eater joined forces and unleashed a full-force Sleeping Charm.
"Ah!"
Aaron roared, raised the Lycoris, and fired the last bullet.
The crimson-gold bullet shot from the muzzle, transforming into countless crystalline threads in mid-air, interspersed with dense blue lightning, colliding with the Death Eater's Sleeping Charm.
