The Unethical Reporter Is Caught-You Deserved That Beating
Abei tactfully stuffed the two materials into his pocket and then obediently squatted down next to Aaron.
"You're quite sensible." Aaron chuckled, then opened Abei's Attribute Panel.
[Pet: Abei]
Race: Dragon (Saint: Unawakened)
[Magical Energy: 3644 (Increases by a little every day, with unlimited potential; the king of Young Dragon)]
[Talented Abilities: Flight, Dragon Breath, Healing,???]
Aaron frowned slightly as he looked at the numbers following the Magical Energy.
There are still nearly 1,400 short. Guo Xin still needs to be pushed a little too hard. Otherwise, according to the normal timeline, it will take four years to complete the next stage of evolution.
With that in mind, Aaron poured all his remaining Magic Points into Abei's Magical Energy.
Abei felt his strength increase and was overjoyed. He rushed into Aaron's arms and rubbed his face against him.
If it weren't for the large number of people on the train, it would definitely have spread its wings and flapped them in the sky to vent its excitement.
"You're happy, but I've gone from nothing to nothing overnight," Aaron said helplessly. "No, not even before that, I've lost everything in an instant."
Abei immediately squatted down on the table and patted his chest vigorously, "Master, I'm here for you too."
"Hehe!" Aaron rubbed its head. Abei was indeed very reliable. The growth rate of the dragon was too slow, so it couldn't play a big role at the moment.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
At that moment, a series of loud cracking sounds rang out outside, mixed with a few hysterical screams.
"Draco?"
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Aaron immediately stood up, opened the door to the private room, and stepped out.
In the corridor, Draco, Crabbe, Goyle lay unconscious, with blisters on their faces, suggesting they had been hit by more than one Curse.
Opposite them was Harry's two boxes, along with the twin brothers George and Fred.
"This is so troublesome!" Aaron shook his head, rubbing his forehead, still unable to ignore it.
Upon closer inspection, he couldn't help but click his tongue in amazement.
"Fire-Roasting Curse, Leg-Locker Curse, Petrification Spell... I bet those three provoked you for no reason, so retaliating is understandable. But isn't this a bit too mean?"
"If you knew what Malfoy did, you'd probably put two more Curse on him," Ron said bluntly.
"He's on good terms with Rita Skeeter," Harry said, annoyed. "They inspired a lot of the fake news that slanders us, and most importantly, they think Voldemort's return isn't a bad thing."
"Understood." Aaron sighed softly. "Can I take them with me first? They're just sitting here unsightly."
"Okay, but you should still come over. There's something I need to tell you."
Aaron nodded, then waved his Wand, leading Draco and the other two to his private room.
After hesitating for a while, I decided to help them break the curse later.
Upon entering Harry's and his companions' private box, a glass bottle sat on the table, inside which a strange beetle was buzzing.
"Let me make this clear beforehand, I will not apologize on behalf of the three of them," Aaron stated bluntly. "I will not take any responsibility for the trouble they caused."
"Who wants to tell you this?" Hermione said, half-laughing, half-crying, and pointed meaningfully at the glass bottle. "I caught Rita Skeeter."
"Is this it?" Aaron picked up the glass bottle. "Her Animagus form is a beetle."
"That's right, that's why she was able to get news material so easily and then use it to make up stories," Hermione said smugly. "I'll release her when I get to the station, but she can't write anything in the newspapers for a year. But illegal Animagus laws are enough to get her a trip to Azkaban."
"Amazing." Aaron clapped his hands. "He even caught a bug."
"Thanks to your tip, otherwise we wouldn't have caught her so quickly," Hermione said. "Malfoy knew her identity, those news reports..."
"She wrote those news articles; Draco just provided her with a little convenience," Aaron said with great certainty. It wasn't that he underestimated Draco; he would never have come up with such a sensational topic.
"An accomplice," Ron said indignantly.
"So now they're being retaliated against by you."
"If there's nothing else, I'll be going now. This holiday is going to be a hassle for me; I need some time alone."
"Wait a minute." Harry quickly stopped him, and said in a deep voice, "Malfoy is Death Eater. I suggest, I suggest... you should keep a certain distance from their family."
I'll try my best.
"Aaron," Harry hesitated, then stammered, "Voldemort is coming. Perhaps you could help Dumbledore."
Aaron paused for a moment, then laughed. "Our four families have been neutral for thousands of years. No matter who wins or loses, it won't have much of an impact on us."
If that's the case, why should we get involved?
"But this is a catastrophe for the Magic World. You can't just stand by and do nothing, can you?" Harry wanted to persuade him further. After all, he had witnessed some of the Gaius family's power at the Riddle's graveyard. With their help, it might be easier to defeat the Dark Lords.
"Harry," Aaron shook his head meaningfully, "If a catastrophe truly befalls the Magic World, we families will step in without you even needing to tell us. Voldemort ..."
At most, he could cause turmoil and catastrophe in the Magic World... to be honest, he doesn't have that kind of authority.
Personally, I admire Gellert Grindelwald more than Voldemort.
"Uh...who is he?" Harry asked awkwardly, as he had never heard this name before.
"The previous Dark Lord," Aaron explained patiently. "Compared to him, Voldemort is hardly worth mentioning."
Grindelwald's Warlock Wars swept across the entire Magic World, with countless Warlock willingly following him. Voldemort's wars, on the other hand, were confined to Britain; his forces were too disorganized, and truly loyal followers were extremely rare.
"Back in Grindelwald's time, your families..." Hermione asked curiously.
"We didn't interfere," Aaron said half-jokingly. "Grindelwald was more like a reformer. His original intention was to give the Magic World a better future, even though it required eliminating most Muggle to achieve this goal."
"What?" Hermione exclaimed in surprise, "Are you serious?"
Aaron nodded in agreement and continued, "Grindelwald has gone on such a big spree that none of our families have interfered, let alone Voldemort's small-scale antics."
"A minor incident?" Harry couldn't hold back any longer and glared angrily at Aaron. "My family, Neville's family, and many, many families have been torn apart. Is this a minor incident?"
So what do you consider a big deal? The Apocalypse?
Holy crap! You actually guessed it.
Aaron muttered to himself, but his expression remained perfectly calm. "I have no comment on that. I can tell you very clearly that our families will remain neutral."
Just like Jeans said, if I really decide to take sides, that's my own business, and it has nothing to do with the Gaius family.
"That works too!" Ron said without hesitation. "You've helped us thwart Voldemort's schemes several times in the past few years."
Aaron's lips twitched, utterly speechless.
I could have easily won, why should I drag myself into this mess with you guys? Do you want to die?
"Is there anything else? If not, I'll be going now."
"Wait a minute." Harry stopped Aaron again, somewhat embarrassed, and said, "How can you help Dumbledore's side if you're just here alone?"
"Phew!" Aaron sighed. "If Voldemort and Dumbledore continue their standoff, they will eventually resolve the issue through war. Not participating in the war is my bottom line."
As for other matters, I will try my best to provide assistance; however, I am merely a student at Hogwarts, nothing more.
Harry felt a huge sense of relief; that was enough, as it was all they could do for now.
Aaron left Harry's box with a heavy heart, but relaxed after returning to his own box.
He was just telling the truth. He has the ability to avoid getting involved in this conflict. Hogwarts still needs to protect him, after all, it's the best place for him to Sign-in.
The Dark Lord wouldn't lead an army of Death Eater to attack a magic school; that would be too unambitious.
Seeing Draco and the other two frozen in place, Aaron wearily pulled out his Wand and cast "Finite Incantatem".
The three of them immediately resumed their movements and then let out a pitiful wail.
"How dare they... I have to tell my dad."
"Let's not embarrass ourselves," Aaron said. "If we can't beat them this time, we can fight back next time. What's the point of calling our parents?"
"That was a sneak attack," Crabbe said, annoyed.
"Outnumbered people bullying out fewer people," Goyle added.
"You asked for it," Aaron retorted without any politeness. "You had nothing better to do than go and provoke us, were you itching for a beating or something?"
"We're just stating the facts," Draco said, pursing his lips. "Granger captured Rita Skeeter ..."
"If someone slanders me in the newspaper, I will slap the beetle to death and then pretend I know nothing."
Draco opened his mouth, and said unwillingly, "I only said that when the Dark Lord returned, the first to be killed would be Muggle-born wizards and Warlock who like Muggle... I didn't expect them to take action so directly."
"They really deserved to kick you out." Aaron patted his forehead, looking speechless. "Your curse is practically plastered on your face, who else would they hit if not you?"
"If it were up to me, I wouldn't be able to swallow this insult without breaking a few of your bones."
"I... I was just telling the truth, it was just something I said offhand," Draco quickly explained. "I didn't mean to curse, otherwise all those Warlock on the train who are related to Muggle would have killed us!"
Aaron:...
At least you have some sense; you didn't say that in front of everyone.
