Dumbledore's Secret Weapon, the Headmistress Trampled by Centaurs
Harry's eyes widened in disbelief. "Did you send those Dementor?"
"Someone had to take action!" Umbridge said matter-of-factly. "Many people told you to shut up, but I was the only one who actually did it."
"How disgusting!" Aaron looked at her disdainfully. "How did you become the vice minister?"
"No comment," Umbridge said coldly. "Mr. Gaius, I won't make things difficult for you, but you'd better not stop me from doing so."
After attacking the principal, you should know better; I doubt you're prepared to be expelled!
Aaron smiled, neither confirming nor denying.
Umbridge picked up her Wand and walked over to Harry. "Crunch Heart..."
Halfway through Cruciatus Curse, Aaron reached into his pocket, but before he could pull out his Wand, Hermione shouted, "Tell her, Harry!"
"Tell me what?" Umbridge asked in surprise. She had almost forgotten that there were two people inside the hearth. Harry was stubborn, but Hermione would never be so tight-lipped.
The others stared at her in astonishment, seemingly unable to believe that she had betrayed them so easily.
"If you don't tell me where it is, then I will tell you."
"It?" Aaron raised an eyebrow, asking in confusion, "What do you mean by 'it'?"
Hermione took a deep breath and said with difficulty, "Dumbledore's secret weapon."
Aaron's lips twitched, Ron, Ginny, and the others all breathed a sigh of relief, expressing high praise for Hermione's level of fabrication, while Umbridge almost jumped up excitedly upon hearing the word 'weapon'.
"A weapon to resist the Ministry of Magic, right?"
I knew Dumbledore was plotting something. What was that weapon?
"We don't really know what it is either," Hermione said, sobbing, but without shedding a single tear.
Upon hearing this, Umbridge became even more excited.
Not quite sure? That's to be expected. If even a fifth-year Warlock knows what weapons Dumbledore is preparing, then she's more worried that it's a fake.
Where is that weapon?
"..." Hermione trembled and stammered, "Forbidden Forest."
Aaron gasped. He seemed to understand what Hermione meant by "weapon." "Hermione, I'm warning you, this is no joke!"
"I... there's nothing I can do about it."
"It seems Mr. Gaius also knows about the existence of this weapon?" Umbridge said meaningfully. "Then I think it's necessary to inform the minister; I believe he will be interested."
"That's really unnecessary," Aaron said with a forced smile.
"Then take me to find that weapon."
"That's probably not true. That weapon... let's just call it a weapon for now!"
It's dangerous, extremely dangerous.
"You think I'm afraid?" Umbridge scoffed. "You two, no, you three, come with me."
As the principal, I will protect you all.
Aaron:...
If you're going to keep hostages, just keep them. Why use such Diadem?
"You guys stay here." Umbridge looked at the Inquisitorial Squad, then pointed to Ron and the others. "Don't let these guys get away."
"Yes, Professor," Montague replied.
Forbidden Forest.
Aaron, Hermione, and Harry led the way, while Umbridge followed cautiously behind, her right hand gripping her Wand tightly.
"Professor, to be honest, the Forbidden Forest is so dangerous, you shouldn't have taken our Wand away," Aaron said speechlessly.
"I know my limits," Umbridge sneered. "Wandless Casting is indeed remarkable, but you should know that there is a big difference between having Wand and not having Wand."
Aaron curled his lip in disdain. That was true for most people, but for someone as skilled at Wandless Casting as he was, Wand was truly dispensable.
"How much further do we have to go?" Umbridge asked angrily. "We've already gone very far."
"Not far, almost there." Hermione bypassed the thick tree roots and quickly moved through the dim forest clearing. "It must be a place that students won't easily spot."
Umbridge didn't doubt it, but she really couldn't hold on any longer.
Her pink sweater was torn by thorns, and her short legs made it very difficult for her to walk. She wasn't this tired even on the day she cleaned up the fireworks.
"Oops!"
Aaron stopped and looked at a rope tied to a tree not far away. His expression changed in a very interesting way.
He thought that the Giant was not here, and he remembered that when he came last time, Grawp was still properly tied up.
Hermione and Harry's expressions froze instantly. Grawp was gone; how were they going to explain this to Hagrid?
"What?" Umbridge coldly pointed her Wand at them, seemingly realizing she might have been tricked. "Where's the weapon? There isn't one, is there?"
"It's not that we don't have them, it's that the weapons... are lost." Aaron scratched his head, feeling incredibly frustrated.
"Are you playing me for a fool?"
You know what? I hate kids the most.
"Um... I don't have time to joke with you. I have to go find him, otherwise the Forbidden Forest will be very lively."
"Stop!" Umbridge shouted. "Explain yourself before you leave."
"Don't point your Wand at me, okay?" Aaron said impatiently. "I guarantee I won't be the one who comes out on the losing end if we fight."
Umbridge's lips twitched, and after a moment of stunned silence, she pointed her Wand at Harry Potter. "Explain yourself now, or I can't guarantee his safety. This is the Forbidden Forest; even if something happens to you, I can explain it."
"That's shameless enough," Aaron chuckled. "But my relationship with Harry Potter isn't so close that we'd risk our lives for each other. You can't threaten me."
Harry:...
That really hurts!
Umbridge looked completely bewildered. "Do you know what you're saying?"
"Do you know what you're doing, Umbridge?"
You're using a Gryffindor to threaten Slytherin? Nobody would believe that if they told anyone.
"Besides, you yourself said this is Forbidden Forest. Students can have accidents, so why can't professors?" Aaron asked with a half-smile. "You just chased away the forest ranger last night, so it's not surprising that a few poachers would come, right?"
Dolores Umbridge's face shifted between bluish and purple. Who was threatening whom?
She didn't think Aaron without his Wand was a match for her, but there were three students here after all, and she felt she was losing out even if it meant trading injury for life.
Suddenly, a whooshing sound rang out, followed by an arrow embedding itself in a tree trunk.
"Ah!"
Dolores Umbridge screamed and quickly hid behind the three of them.
A sound of horses' hooves approached, and the group looked in the direction of the sound to see dozens of Centaurs galloping over, their arrows poised to be released.
Dolores Umbridge took a step back, nervously pointing at the Centaurs Magorian who was in the lead. "This is none of your business, Centaurs. This is a matter for the Ministry of Magic."
I am the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts Headmaster, and High Inquisitor.
"What did Hagrid say when he left?" Aaron asked Hermione meaningfully.
"Oh!" Hermione raised an eyebrow. "It seems the Ministry of Magic is reducing the Centaurs ' territory. I think it's mentioned in some decree, and I believe it was issued by you, Professor Dolores Umbridge."
Dolores Umbridge's expression froze, but he still mustered his courage and said, "Put down your weapons. I warn you, according to the law, you are creatures approaching human intelligence..."
"Approaching human intelligence?" Magorian's face darkened. "Our intelligence far surpasses that of humans."
"This is an insult." The Centaurs next to him nocked an arrow and was about to shoot at Dolores Umbridge.
"Wait," Magorian stopped her.
"You're smart enough to know what's good for you." Dolores Umbridge thought his identity had intimidated them, and suddenly became fearless.
"Gaius, what is your relationship with her?" Magorian asked.
"The relationship between the principal and the students, and her coming here was purely accidental."
"I understand." Magorian instantly understood, glancing calmly at Dolores Umbridge. "Human, what are you doing in our forest?"
"Your forest?" Dolores Umbridge's voice carried a hint of anger. "I must remind you that you are able to live here because the Ministry of Magic has allowed you to occupy some territory."
Aaron's lips twitched, and he hurriedly pulled Harry and Hermione aside to prevent them from getting splattered with blood if they started fighting.
An arrow grazed Dolores Umbridge's scalp.
She instinctively raised her Wand, and an invisible barrier blocked the arrow.
"How dare you, you filthy bastard, you lawless beast."
"Stop talking... um..." Hermione wanted her to stop humiliating the Centaurs, because things would get out of hand if things escalated.
But before she could finish speaking, Aaron covered her mouth, pulling her further away while giving Magorian a gentle smile, "You two continue, we don't know her."
Dolores Umbridge blinked in surprise, then looked at Magorian, "Incarcerous."
A thick rope flew into the air and firmly bound Magorian.
His neck was being strangled tighter and tighter, and his arms were also bound firmly, making it difficult for him to break free for a while.
"From now on, you all better behave yourselves," Dolores Umbridge triumphantly.
"Finite Incantatem."
Aaron chanted a spell, and the ropes binding Magorian instantly fell to the ground.
"Gaius, what do you mean by this?"
"Idiot, I'm saving you!" Aaron scoffed. "You're really brave, being humiliated time and time again on Centaurs ' territory, Centaurs who values dignity more than life!"
Of course, if Professor Kuan believes he can single-handedly take on dozens of Centaurs, then consider it me meddling in other people's business!
Dolores Umbridge paused for a moment, then turned to look at the Centaurs, his face instantly turning deathly pale.
Their eyes were filled with rage, and many of the Centaurs had already picked up arrows and spears, looking as if they wanted to tear her apart alive.
"Gollum!" Dolores Umbridge swallowed hard, forcing a stiff smile. "Actually... I have no ill intentions towards you."
The Centaurs remained completely unmoved and charged down in unison.
"What are you doing... Let me go... You filthy bastards... No..."
Dolores Umbridge let out a sharp cry and her Wand emitted a red glow as she attacked, but her magic was quickly overwhelmed by the siege of dozens of Centaurs, without even a ripple.
"Tsk! How pitiful!" Aaron shook his head as he watched Dolores Umbridge in agony under the trampling of dozens of horses. "Don't kill him. He has some status after all."
"Yes, I am the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Magic. You beasts are the best... ah..."
"Never mind what I said." Aaron chuckled awkwardly. Even at this point, he was still calling someone an animal. He really deserved to die.
The Centaurs dragged Dolores Umbridge into the dark woods, her screams fading into the distance until they were no longer heard.
"The good news is we're safe, the bad news is Grawp is missing." Aaron shrugged. "We have to find him."
"I don't think the Giant will be in danger in the Forbidden Forest," Harry said irritably. "He's the most dangerous one."
"No need to look, he's back," Hermione said, pointing to a huge dark figure not far away.
When Grawp saw them, he grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth. "Hag, where's Hag?"
"Hagrid has gone out and won't be back for a while," Aaron said, rubbing his forehead. "Now you stay put."
If you're not here when I come next time, then I'll call Abei over so we can have a proper talk.
Grawp trembled, sat down on the ground looking aggrieved, and then consciously tied the broken rope around his neck to the tree.
"What do we do now?" Harry said angrily. "Sirius Black might be dead by the time we get back."
"Then don't go." Aaron smiled calmly. "To be honest, I really hate Dolores Umbridge, but it might not be a bad thing that she caught you all today."
You've wasted a lot of time; this way you won't walk right into a trap.
Once Professor Snape contacts the Phoenix Society, they will handle it appropriately.
"Who knows if he'll stall for time?" Harry kicked a nearby tree through gritted teeth. "It's true, we learned by the fireplace that Sirius Black wasn't at the Order of the Phoenix Society headquarters."
"Harry," Hermione softly, trying to comfort him. "We have to get back first, no matter what. We can't do anything without Wand, and how are you going to get to London?"
"We also want to know this."
Ginny's voice suddenly appeared, and the three of them instinctively turned their heads to look. Ron, Ginny, Luna, Neville hurriedly walked over through the bushes.
"Wow!" Luna stared at Grawp with wide eyes. "Nobody told me there was a Giant in the Forbidden Forest."
"Don't worry about that. How did you guys get out?" Aaron asked curiously.
"We've put the Stunning Spell, the Disarming Charm, and the Shield Charm Wand into practice," Ron said proudly, handing Harry and Hermione their wands.
"It seems that the overall quality of Slytherin needs to be improved!" Aaron smiled wryly. To be defeated even when they had the upper hand was truly embarrassing for Prefect like him.
"Harry, if Sirius Black isn't with the Phoenix Society, he might really be captured," Ron said anxiously. "Have you thought about how to save him?"
