The Prophecy to Defeat the Dark Lord, and the Family That Produced a God of Law
"Are you kidding me?" Barty Crouch Jr. said with amusement. "I can tell the difference between the living and the dead."
"Tsk! What a smart man!" Aaron exclaimed. "I'm amazed that someone as smart as you would choose to become a Death Eater, even at the cost of killing your own father."
A graduate with twelve certificates is undoubtedly a genius, and with a father holding a high position in the Ministry of Magic, his future seems incredibly bright...
"Shut up," Barty Crouch Jr.. roared. "Don't mention him to me, Barty Crouch. He's not a father at all."
He disregarded everything for the sake of power; I have never seen anyone as selfish as him.
But my master was different. He knew what I craved, and he gave me everything I wanted.
Since I joined the Dark Lord, my life has changed dramatically; I can do whatever I want.
"Oh!" A hint of pity appeared in Aaron's eyes. "To put it bluntly, it's like a perverted person who lacks family love meeting a madman who allows you to unleash your true nature."
"Insolence!" Bellatrix cursed, casting a spell at Aaron.
Her spell was shattered by a white light before it could reach Aaron; it was Barty Crouch Barty Crouch Jr.. who stopped her.
What are you doing?
"Don't rush to do it, the master will be here soon."
If Mr. Gaius cooperates, he will be a distinguished guest of the host; if he doesn't know what's good for him, then it's not too late to take action.
"That's right."
A chilling voice rang out, Voldemort appeared before them in the blink of an eye.
He wore a black Warlock's robe and a hood, his face was pale and haggard like a snake, and his pupils emitted a faint red glow.
The Death Eater bowed deeply in unison, with utmost reverence.
Harry and his friends couldn't help but shudder; the living Dark Lord was still very intimidating.
"Apparition." Aaron clicked his tongue. "A powerful Warlock can indeed ignore the Anti-Apparition Spell."
"You can do that in the future, can't you?"
"Of course, I have no doubt about that."
"Master," Lucius said, cradling the dusty glass ball in his palm, "the Prophecy Orb."
"You did a terrible job, Malfoy."
Not only did they get the Prophecy Orb, they also kept Mr. Gaius with them.
"It was Master who foresaw this." Lucius bowed even lower. "I only delayed him a little. If Crouch hadn't arrived in time, he probably would have gotten away."
"I know." Voldemort chuckled and glanced at Harry. "I saw everything in his mind. It's quite an achievement that you managed to hold out until Barty Crouch Jr.. came over."
Voldemort picked up the Prophecy Orb, and the dull gray glass ball began to shimmer with a blue-white light:
The one capable of defeating the Dark Lord is approaching, born into a family that has resisted him three times, born at the end of July... The Dark Lord will mark him as his formidable rival, and he will possess powers unknown to the Dark Lord... One of them must die at the hands of the other, for neither can live; only one can survive...
Harry and the others stared blankly, as if they had heard something incredible and couldn't react for a long time.
Aaron's pupils also contracted slightly, and the look of shock quickly disappeared.
He doesn't believe in fate, whether it's good or bad.
The Death Eater lowered their heads, each casting a cold glance at Harry Potter. Barty Crouch Jr.. even drew his Wand, eager to eliminate this threat immediately.
They all tacitly refrained from making a move, since the Dark Lord hadn't given the order yet!
Voldemort was silent for a moment, then burst into laughter.
"So that's how it is, so that's how it is."
"No wonder Dumbledore has been protecting you; he must know the contents of the Prophecy." Voldemort looked at Harry with a cold and amused gaze. "It's ridiculous, laughable, utterly absurd."
I originally thought my biggest rival would be Dumbledore, but now it seems I overestimated him. I never imagined he would place his hopes on a bastard I could crush with a flick of my wrist.
"A mongrel?" Harry suppressed his nervousness. "If I'm a mongrel, then what are you?"
At least my parents were Warlock, while your father looks like... just a Muggle!
"Shut up," Bellatrix snapped. "How dare you, how dare you... you filthy beast..."
Voldemort's identity was known only to a few Death Eater; it was a taboo subject that no one dared to mention, yet Harry Potter made no attempt to conceal it.
If you're not afraid of death, fine, but you absolutely mustn't drag us down with you.
"Bellatrix." Voldemort glared at her expressionlessly.
Bellatrix froze. "Master, please allow me to kill him. Every second this beast lives is a desecration of you."
"I admire your loyalty, but he cannot die now." Voldemort took out his Wand and tapped the Prophecy Orb lightly, which immediately turned into dust and vanished.
"You're scared, aren't you?" Harry asked, mustering his courage. "Scared of this Prophecy?"
"How naive, Potter," Voldemort sneered. "In truth, my only enemy from beginning to end has been Dumbledore, though I hate to admit it, he is indeed powerful."
The White Lord, the greatest Warlock of this era. Even I'm not entirely confident I could face him head-on. It's your existence that has given me hope of killing him.
Gollum!
Harry swallowed hard, a sense of indescribable panic spreading rapidly through his heart.
"He's poured most of his energy into you, so he'll never give up easily," Voldemort continued. "Harry, you'll be my sharpest weapon against Dumbledore."
As if a sharp blade had pierced his heart, Harry instantly broke down and shouted, "You can forget about it!"
"No, this is Reality Stone." Voldemort stared at him with bloodshot eyes and said, "Warlock's talent determines the upper limit he can reach. Even if you were given a lifetime, you would never be my match. Besides, you are a prisoner now. This Prophecy is actually no threat to me."
In some ways, it is invaluable because it provided me with an excellent martial arts set.
With the White Lord dead, the Death Eater ' power will expand rapidly, and my goal of becoming a god can be achieved sooner.
Upon hearing this, Harry's heart skipped a beat.
He wanted to refute it, but inexplicably felt that what Voldemort said seemed true, Dumbledore was paying too much attention to him.
He had repeatedly put his companions in danger, but these young Warlock were no match for Dumbledore. If they were to implicate Dumbledore, the situation in the Magic World would be greatly affected, and his sins would be immense.
"You won't succeed, never," Harry said angrily. "Even if I die here today, someone will definitely defeat you in the future. That kind of unrealistic fantasy will never come true."
"This is the only way you can hide your guilty conscience now, Harry."
"But don't worry, I won't kill you. You'll be safe until Dumbledore dies," Voldemort said calmly. "Also, I should thank you properly."
Not only did it bring me an interesting Prophecy, but it also brought me Mr. Gaius, who is the key to realizing my dreams.
"Haven't we seen each other for a while, Aaron?"
"Pretty much, but I never expected that Ju Xing would be defeated by an accident."
"If Barty Crouch Jr. had arrived three seconds later, I might have been scared out of my wits."
"Looks like I'm pretty lucky. It wasn't easy to trick you into coming here!" Voldemort said meaningfully. "If you hadn't gotten involved, I really wouldn't have been able to do anything to you. But now that you're here, things are very different."
Aaron sighed and nodded, without denying it.
He has been involved in the conflicts of the Magic World. According to family rules, he is now just a small Warlock with no background. Before the conflict ends, the family will not give him any protection or help. At most, they will collect his body after he dies.
"Why did you go to such lengths to trick me into coming here?"
"Is it related to your deeper identity?"
"What's his identity? The heir of a hidden family?" Aaron said thoughtfully. "That's nothing, is it? The Gaius family is at most a bit stronger than Pure-blood families."
"Some?"
Voldemort's lips curled into a smile, as if he had heard the funniest joke in the world, and then he pointed his Wand at Neville.
"Why is it me again?" Neville's lips twitched, feeling so frustrated he felt like he was going to vomit blood.
"Then let's choose another one."
As he spoke, Voldemort pointed his Wand at Ron, and before Ron could react, he heard the very familiar spell, ' Cruciatus Curse '.
"Ah!"
Ron let out a piercing scream, writhing on the ground in pain, tears streaming uncontrollably down his face.
"Stop! Stop it!" Ginny shouted, her heart aching as she watched her brother being tortured.
"Expelliarmus."
Harry waved his Wand directly, but Voldemort simply flicked his sleeve and sent him flying backward.
"What exactly do you want?" Harry shouted angrily.
Voldemort slowly stopped, giving Aaron a meaningful look, "A little warning to someone."
Aaron instinctively clutched his chest, forcing a weak smile. "If I didn't cooperate, I'd be the one lying on the ground!"
"What do you think? Your family isn't coming to rescue you this time."
"That's true." Aaron pulled up his sleeve and saw that the World Tree mark on his left arm had turned gray. He couldn't help but laugh self-deprecatingly. "They used to follow me around all the time, and I couldn't shake them off, but now... I shouldn't have come here."
"Tell me what I want to know, and you will not have any worries."
"What do you want to know?" Aaron asked, looking up.
"The Gaius family ..." Voldemort paused, a hint of unease creeping into his serious tone, "...had gods appeared there, right?"
After he finished speaking, the entire room fell Silencio.
Almost everyone subconsciously looked at Aaron, their eyes filled with utter astonishment and disbelief.
The word "divine" is far beyond the reach of Muggle; faith is their only way of finding spiritual connection and comfort.
Voldemort told the Warlock that gods truly exist, such as the legendary Merlin, but Merlin apparently did not leave any bloodline descendants. However, Voldemort has now discovered other gods, and what is even more surprising is that this god left behind a Warlock family. If this were to spread, the entire Magic World would be in an uproar.
Aaron was stunned for a moment, then awkwardly waved his hand, "That's nonsense, utter rubbish, blatant fabrication."
Even if you're the Dark Lord, you don't have to tease me like this. This joke isn't funny at all.
Voldemort snorted, "I've consulted many books. The Gaius, Darwen, Ishkar, and Klein Warlock families were founded thousands of years ago. They have helped each other and are closely connected. Every few hundred years, they have a marriage alliance."
They seemed like Prophet who knew the future, perfectly avoiding all pitfalls and ensuring the family's stable development and the purity of its bloodline.
Aaron was also a little unsettled. "This can only mean that the people in our family are generally of high quality, and our ancestral teachings do not allow us to participate in any disputes in the Magic World."
"I've been to many places and questioned many people," Voldemort sneered. "My Death Eater include Pure-blood individuals with long histories, officials who have worked for the Ministry of Magic for generations, and even some dark creatures."
They don't know much about you, but they respect you immensely. In both the legitimate and underworld circles, your influence Dumbledore's.
"The Malfoy family are pretty much the same, aren't they?" Aaron immediately steered the conversation toward the Malfoy. "They have connections in both the legitimate and underworld circles."
"But this situation has lasted for thousands of months. Is this normal?"
"Perhaps, maybe, it's normal!" Aaron said uncertainly. Generally speaking, a once-prosperous Warlock family could not possibly withstand thousands of years of drastic changes.
A single Dark Lord could overwhelm Malfoy, and there have been many Warlock more talented than Voldemort over the past few thousand years. A single accident could bring down an entire family.
"And what about talent?" Voldemort asked with envy and resentment. "Aaron, don't you think the talent of your four families is frighteningly high?"
"Uh... this probably has little to do with talent," Aaron said seriously. "The reason I have my current level of magic power is purely due to my family's upbringing."
"I have to catch up on twenty or thirty classes during my holidays. You can ask Lucius; he knows."
"Heh!" Voldemort shook his head. "I did a lot of research, and even found Salazar Slytherin's notes. He visited the Gaius family after leaving Hogwarts."
I don't know his purpose at the time, but after he returned, he left a warning for the descendants of Slytherin: never provoke these four families.
Salazar was already Holy Magus at that time. What could possibly make Holy Magus take this so seriously?
"Perhaps Slytherin and Gaius made some deal; that was almost a thousand years ago, who knows?"
"Hercules Hufflepuff and Godric Gryffindor also visited your home, and Rowena Ravenclaw later visited the Darwin Family in a special way."
These three powerful Warlock almost made the same decision as Salazar Slytherin; don't tell me it's all a coincidence.
"Maybe it's just a coincidence?" Aaron said stubbornly.
"Cruciatus Curse!" Voldemort decisively cast the Cruciatus Curse on Ron. "Think carefully before you answer, though I can't guarantee this spell won't fall on you."
Aaron:...
"Alright, I admit that our family did indeed produce God of Magic. Are you satisfied now?"
