Night falls.

Aaron lay on the bed in the bedroom, staring blankly at the ceiling.

He had been mentally prepared since joining the Department of Mysteries, but the actual situation still almost broke his spirit.

Voldemort was even more shameless and ruthless than he imagined. He started preparing as soon as he got off the train, not only sending people to block the Diagon Alley shop, but also having people monitor Gaius Castle.

If he were kicked out of his home at this point, he would probably be hunted down by Death Eater not far away.

The arrangements at home are even more outrageous, requiring one to sacrifice their sexuality to ensure safety.

He didn't consider himself a shallow person, but he had promised Adrian last year, so he couldn't avoid this hurdle. He could only say that he had chosen this path, and he had to finish it, even if he had to crawl on his knees.

With incredibly complex emotions, Aaron sighed softly and slowly closed his eyes.

Day 1.

Sunlight streamed through the window and shone on Aaron's face.

He skillfully got up, dressed and washed, and then pulled Abei out of its crib.

"Let's go, it's time to eat."

Upon hearing the word "eat," Abei immediately woke up, her blue eyes widening instantly, and drool involuntarily trickled from the corners of her mouth.

Food at home is much better Hogwarts!

Aaron was speechless. He was already five years old and still couldn't control his mouth. When would he ever be able to behave properly?

The man and the dragon arrived at the restaurant, where Tepler and the Vico couple were sitting and waiting for him. Jeans stood to the side, House Elf placed the plates on the table one by one.

"You're here, we've been waiting for you." Tepler hurriedly gestured for Aaron to sit down. "I can't even remember the last time I had a meal with my precious grandson."

"Hmm!" Aaron nodded expressionlessly, asking as he ate, "It's one thing for Vico and Lisana to have been running around all these years, but Grandpa, where exactly have you been?"

"Well..." Tepler paused for a moment, "Logically, I should only tell you after you've been in this position for a year, but with your current strength, you're barely qualified to know. But are you sure you're prepared?"

"Then forget it. Past experience tells me that the more you know, the more trouble you'll have."

"You can't say that. You'll find out sooner or later, and it won't have much of an impact on you." Tepler smiled gently. "This is the duty of the Gaius family, and only the patriarch is qualified to do it."

"But you're different. From the day you were born, your talent has given you more choices than we have," Vico said enviously. "You have the right to refuse this responsibility."

Aaron blinked, looking at the two of them with a puzzled expression, "Just how many responsibilities does our family bear?"

"Not many, but very important." Tepler sighed. "Vico, I, and my father, who is also your great-grandfather, are still fulfilling Gaius's duties."

"Oh!" Aaron seemed to realize something, and suddenly understood, "So, the two of them aren't just traveling around the world all the time?"

"Of course." Lisana rolled her eyes at her son without getting annoyed. "Your dad and I are very busy too. You're the most relaxed one in our family right now, and you don't even know how lucky you are."

"Ha! Hehe!" Aaron couldn't help but laugh. "My goodness, if you knew what your son had encountered during my travels in another world, you wouldn't be saying it so easily."

"I meant it wasn't that," Lisana explained, both amused and exasperated. "Although interdimensional travel is dangerous, it's a rare opportunity that others can only dream of."

However, once you inherit the position of clan chief, you have the right to refuse this obligation, and you mainly need to do two things.

First, to improve oneself as much as possible, to become Holy Magus, or even God of Magic, as soon as possible; second, to marry and have children...

"Puff!"

Aaron spat out a mouthful of rice, staring at his mother in astonishment. "Are you serious?"

"Nonsense, you are now the sole heir of the Gaius main lineage, and it is your inescapable responsibility to carry on the bloodline."

That's why we're so concerned about your marriage prospects, and even more worried about you going up against Voldemort. You said if something happened to you, your dad and I would have to create a new character.

Upon hearing this, Aaron's face twitched involuntarily.

He seemed to understand why his parents were so keen on arranging blind dates for him; besides worry, his reluctance to practice his alternate account was probably a significant factor.

He should learn from this experience; when he enters the "grave" of marriage, he should take a cue from Mr. Weasley. Arthur Weasley and make sure he has a house full of children...

Ahem! We've gone off on a tangent.

After breakfast, Aaron talked with his three relatives about his studies and daily life, then carried Abei to the family's Secret Chamber.

He didn't need to meet all of his dozen or so ancestors; he didn't have that much time. But there were three he absolutely had to meet: Argus Gaius, the forging god; Weihert Gaius, the Magic Array instructor; and Flor Gaius, the spiritual mentor.

Jeans didn't follow; after all, classes were suspended, and as a teaching assistant, he had no reason to appear in the classroom.

Upon opening the first Secret Chamber, the Argus Ancestor stood before the furnace, his gaze fixed intently on the sword embryo within.

Aaron approached to observe, his pupils involuntarily contracting slightly.

The sword blank is more complete than last year's, and it radiates a five-colored light. Countless complex Magic Array, Runic Script, and Alchemist are faintly visible on its surface.

"Ancestor, is this the end?"

"It's still a bit short," Argus sighed. "I've barely had a break for the past year because of your sword, and somehow I even added some of my own treasured items to it."

"Thank you, ancestors," Aaron said immediately, his heart filled with deep gratitude.

"Don't rush to thank me," Argus interrupted Yu. "This divine artifact now possesses many abilities: elemental attack, mind protection, healing wounds, absorbing spiritual power, Transfiguration and carrying, long-distance summoning, and so on. However, it still has shortcomings."

"What's lacking?"

"The core, in other words, is a sufficient energy supply," Argus explained. "Ordinary magic crystals cannot meet this requirement."

I do have some high-quality Magic Crystal here, but I feel they are unworthy of this sword and cannot unleash its full power.

"This..." Aaron frowned slightly, "I'll think of a way."

"I believe you will prepare the necessary materials," Argus smiled. "And finally, you should find a piece of ore that is hard enough."

"How hard do you want it, Mithril or silver?"

"That's not enough. What I need is a treasure that can withstand the instantaneous release of all the magic on this sword."

Aaron looked at the various runes on the sword blank and couldn't help but click his tongue in amazement.

Where would he get that? Wait, there really is one, the Díloúsi's Tooth definitely meets that requirement.

"Understood, I will get it done as soon as possible."

"It doesn't matter if we can't find it. Even if its power is reduced, this sword is still divine."

"That won't do. I can imagine how big the difference is between an ordinary divine artifact and a superior divine artifact."

"One year, one year from now I will find the ore."

"It's not just ore, it's also the core energy source," Argus reminded.

"Knew."

"Ancestor, this time I..."

"No need to say anything more, you'll have to deal with the trouble you caused yourself."

I'm just a blacksmith; I can't offer you any advice.

Aaron nodded and then walked toward the seventh Chamber of Secrets.

As soon as they entered, countless Magic Array were instantly illuminated, radiating dazzling colors.

Ancestor Weihert emerged from the central Magic Array, smiling as he looked at Aaron. "How's your new magic coming along?"

"It's alright!" Aaron said, pursing his lips. "No wonder you're my ancestor. You finally sent me two magic books, and they're even elemental magic."

"I'm doing this for your own good," Weihert said matter-of-factly.

"Yes, ancestor, you were right."

"At first I thought that without greed, nothing could be accomplished, but later I realized that it's better to master one skill than to be a jack of all trades and master none," Aaron said dejectedly. "But I never expected to run into Voldemort so soon!"

"Life is full of surprises, isn't it?"

"I was planning to teach you light and Shadow Element Magic this holiday, so it seems I was just being prepared. It's just a pity I can't teach you step-by-step now." Weihert said meaningfully, "Can you tell me what happened that night?"

Aaron hesitated for a moment before telling Weihert the details of the great battle of the Department of Mysteries. However, he replaced the Thought Form with a simple clone, and he didn't reveal anything about the Mind Space within it.

"Hahaha..." Weihert burst into laughter after hearing this, laughing until tears streamed down his face. "The Mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind it. But after the oriole, there's an eagle. Who would have thought that there's a hunter behind the eagle?"

The battle between the Dark Lord and the White Lord is interesting, so very interesting! I haven't heard such an interesting story in hundreds of years.

What role did you Role-playing in all of this? A shrew? I don't think so.

"Ancestor, there's no need to mock me like that!"

"This is not a sarcastic remark." Weihert sneered. "Knowing the existence of the eagle and the hunter, Gaius's best successor in the last hundred years wouldn't be foolish enough to end up as the oriole unaware of the predator!"

Tell me, why? With your intelligence, no one should be able to force you into this trap if you don't want to!

"Uh... for the sake of justice in my heart."

"Damn!" Weihert scoffed, sneering, "Little Aaron, you need to understand, there's plenty of time ahead!"

"The suspension of classes isn't permanent, of course, unless you're confident you can beat me before the suspension ends, then disregard what I said."

Aaron's lips twitched slightly, and four words suddenly popped into his mind. "Settling scores later."

"It was just a moment of impulse, okay?"

"That reason..." Weihert pondered for a moment, "Is somewhat plausible."

"You believe that?" Aaron asked, his eyes wide.

"I know you're talking nonsense, so what?"

All I need is a reason; it doesn't matter what it is, as long as it convinces me.

"Your request is quite bizarre," Aaron said bluntly, as he felt that acting on impulse was even less reliable than acting for the sake of justice.

"I died because of a moment of impulsiveness."

Aaron immediately understood. He had almost forgotten that this ancestor had fought seven powerful warriors of the highest level to the death on the battlefield. His impulsive act was indeed quite in line with his temperament.

"Let me see your grades this year!"

Aaron nodded, then took out Wand wand and began to draw Magic Array.

Half a minute later, seven different colors—red, blue, yellow, purple, green, black, and white—reflected each other in mid-air, emitting a unique hue.

"They're all ultimate Magic Array, but..."

"Only the light and dark elements are not up to standard, as for the others, they are barely passable," Weihert said calmly, then changed the subject, "However, with your current Magic Power, it is already quite remarkable that you have achieved this much. Compared to forbidden elemental magic, it is still far behind."

"I will do my best to master Forbidden Magic in the shortest possible time," Aaron said confidently. He had already used the Mind Space once and had experience with it.

"No." Weihert shook his head. "Now that you're on the opposite side of the Dark Lord, there's no time for you to learn forbidden elemental magic."

Even if you learn it, it won't work if your magic power can't keep up.

With your current skill level, you won't be able to use it a second time, so you should just use more Ultimate Elemental Magic!

If the seven Ultimate Elemental Magic can be perfectly combined, their power will not be inferior to ordinary Forbidden Magic.

"I see."

Aaron nodded emphatically, but inwardly he disagreed.

Ancestor Weihert's evaluation criteria were aimed at mid-level Archmage, but his current true strength was that of Beginner Grand Archmage, and it was only a matter of time before he became a Intermediate Grand Archmage.

After leaving the seventh Chamber of Secrets, Aaron went directly to the twenty-eighth Chamber of Secrets.

Flor appeared directly, looking at Aaron with a smile, "From the first moment I saw you, I knew you would have a bright future, and I was right!"

"But I didn't expect you to actually come. If I'm not mistaken, that kid Tepler arranged a marriage for you, didn't he?"

"Holy crap!" Aaron almost couldn't hold back. "How did you know that?"

"It's not like no one has ever tried to exploit this loophole before," Flor said matter-of-factly. "It's been met with rave reviews!"

"Positive review? How can this get a positive review?"

"There are quite a few examples in the history of the Gaius family of marrying first and then falling in love; the partners chosen by the elders are generally not bad."

These things are never recorded in books; I just happened to live a long time, otherwise I wouldn't know so much.

"A living family history? Is that what you mean?"

"That's one way to put it," Flor said, raising an eyebrow. "So, what's your reason for coming to see me?"

"The Mind Space," Aaron said, getting straight to the point.

Flor paused for a moment, then quickly moved closer to Aaron, looking at him like a rare animal, "You want to build your Mind Space?"

No, that's not right, you've already built it, haven't you?"

"Yes." Aaron scratched his head guiltily. "I wanted to ask you for some advice, since you are an expert in this field."

"Amazing, truly amazing," Flor exclaimed. "In all the history I know, almost no one would waste time on this."

The weak are completely unaware of its existence, while the strong... will only see it as a useless trifle. Unless one's mental or Soul Stone strength far surpasses that of the opponent, no one would be foolish enough to delve into the enemy's Mind World; that would be tantamount to suicide.
