"The last enemy to be destroyed is death." Harry frowned as he muttered the words. "Why does that sound like the Death Eaters' creed?"

"You may have misunderstood." 'Gandalf' patted his shoulder. "There are two ways to interpret that sentence. One is to fear death, while the other is to accept death calmly. The Death Eaters are the former, while your parents should have been the latter."

"Seems to be just one person." Hermione looked toward the church in surprise. "An old woman. She's waving at us, like she wants us to follow her."

"Could it be Bathilda Bagshot?" Ron guessed. "If Dumbledore asked her to give us the sword, then she must know we'd come here."

"Could be. Let's go take a look." Harry made his decision and turned to leave the graveyard.

The old woman was hunched and stout, trudging slowly through the snow with unsteady steps.

"Something's wrong. Very wrong." 'Gandalf' muttered his explanation. "If Dumbledore had really assigned her a task, she only needed to wait at home. There was no need for her to come out in the middle of the night, especially with such heavy snow outside."
