This is too much... ugly!

The first thing Hyuga Mirai blurted out upon seeing the Healing Tag his Shadow Clone had developed was exactly that.

The square Chakra Paper, forty to fifty centimeters across, was covered in crooked, rudimentary Sealing Runes. At its center was the character "Yang," indicating that Yang Release Chakra had been sealed within it.

"There's no helping it. Neither Konoha Hospital nor the Konoha Library has anything beyond the most basic Sealing Runes. To reduce the amount of Chakra Paper needed, I'd need advanced Sealing Techniques. Otherwise, without quality, I can only make up for it with quantity."

The Shadow Clone spoke helplessly.

Medical Ninjutsu sometimes involved Sealing Techniques, so Konoha Hospital had some records related to them. However, to learn higher-level Sealing Techniques, one had to apply to the hospital director or join the Barrier Team or Sealing Team.

Hyuga Mirai had only learned the bare basics, so he could only use those basics to create a Healing Tag.

To extend the Yang Release Chakra's retention time, the Shadow Clone had used thirteen layers of basic Sealing Runes to seal it. Because there were so many Sealing Runes, it had taken nearly half a meter of Chakra Paper.

Still, this allowed the Yang Release Chakra to remain for six minutes.

Hyuga Mirai clicked his tongue, then took out a Kunai and cut a two-centimeter gash across his arm.

He then pressed the crude Healing Tag against the wound, formed a one-handed seal, and said, "Release!"

Once he released the seal on the Healing Tag, Hyuga Mirai immediately felt a stream of Yang Release Chakra flow from the tag toward the wound on his arm.

Before long, stimulated by the Yang Release Chakra, the dividing cells restored the wound completely.

Hyuga Mirai felt the spot on his arm and said thoughtfully, "It really has the same effect as the Mystical Palm Technique. It looks like the initial trial was a success."

The Shadow Clone shrugged. "My Chakra is nearly exhausted. The rest is up to you, Original." With that, the Shadow Clone vanished with a Bang!, returning its Chakra to Hyuga Mirai's original body.

Then, a flood of memories surfaced in Hyuga Mirai's mind. He recorded all the experiment reports from the past few days and compiled them into a summary report.

Of course, besides the Healing Tag's development process, Hyuga Mirai also wrote down much of his knowledge and research on cell genetics, all of which he had extracted from Ginos's lifetime of learning.

If Orochimaru had already begun researching Hashirama Cells, then after seeing Hyuga Mirai's report, he would likely come looking for him.

Within Konoha, Orochimaru was probably Hyuga Mirai's best choice right now. As long as Mirai could provide him with value, he would receive something in return. Besides, Hyuga Mirai was not a Civilian Ninja. He had the Hyuga Clan name behind him. Though it could not compare to the Sannin, it was enough to make Orochimaru restrain himself somewhat.

Hyuga Mirai made another Healing Tag, then went to find Doctor Nakano.

"Senior Nakano, take me to the Vice Dean, quickly."

Seeing the urgency on Hyuga Mirai's face, Nakano could not help thinking of the precious equipment in the Laboratory. If it had been damaged, Mirai-kun would bear considerable responsibility.

Nakano's face paled slightly as he asked, "Did... did you break something?"

"There's no time to explain. The Vice Dean should be back by now, right? Take me to her first."

Seeing that Hyuga Mirai really was in a hurry, Nakano set down the documents in his hands and led him upstairs.

Konoha Hospital's Vice Dean was a Medical Jonin in her thirties. With Tsunade neglecting her duties, she practically carried Konoha's entire Medical system on her shoulders.

The Vice Dean's office was not far from Tsunade's. After Nakano knocked and received permission, he pushed the door open and entered with Hyuga Mirai.

Inside sat a middle-aged female Ninja with her forehead protector tied around her right arm. Seeing Nakano and Hyuga Mirai, she asked suspiciously, "Nakano, what is this...?"

"Vice-Director Kimura, let me introduce you. This is Hyuga... Ah!?"

Before Doctor Nakano could finish, Hyuga Mirai slashed a wound across his palm with a Kunai.

The Vice Dean immediately frowned and shouted, "What are you doing...?"

Before she could finish, Hyuga Mirai took out a nearly half-meter-wide sheet of Chakra Paper covered in ugly Sealing Runes and placed it over Nakano's injured palm.

"Release!"

Hyuga Mirai formed a one-handed seal and immediately released the seal on the Healing Tag once it adhered to the wound.

Then, the Yang Release Chakra sealed inside the Healing Tag surged into Doctor Nakano's wound. In just around ten seconds, the wound had healed completely. Aside from some blood, Nakano's hand looked as though it had never been injured.

"This is... the Mystical Palm Technique!?"

Nakano stared wide-eyed at his palm. The pain and wound that had been there moments ago disappeared in mere seconds. Only the Mystical Palm Technique could do that.

"Mirai-kun, you succeeded!?"

It had only been a few days, yet Hyuga Mirai had already accomplished one of the things he had proposed. What a genius.

The female Ninja Vice Dean frowned in confusion and asked, "Nakano, what is going on? What did this Hyuga clan youth just use on you?"

"Vice Dean, it's like this..."

Nakano directly explained how Hyuga Mirai had borrowed the Laboratory, as well as what had happened in Tsunade's office that day. Hyuga Mirai added plenty of details from the side, mainly explaining the Healing Tag.

"So that's how it is..."

This Vice Dean was also greatly inspired. Fire Release Chakra could be sealed into Chakra Paper and used as an Exploding Tag, so why could Yang Release Chakra not be used the same way? Why had no one thought of this before?

"Mirai-kun, can you make another Healing Tag?"

Hyuga Mirai nodded. "Of course. Chakra solidification isn't difficult; ordinary medical Chunin can do it. But my sealing skills are too weak, so I can only use beginner Sealing Runes and patch them together in multiple layers..."
