Background / History

Kiyomi was born into the Hyuga Clan’s Main House as the daughter of a Main House Elder. At the Ninja Academy, she distinguished herself in Gentle Fist combat and defeated Hyuga Mirai in a practical-class match, later inviting him to train at the clan grounds 3 4 5. Hyuga Sosuke subsequently assigned Mirai, a Branch Family member, as her guard, establishing the partnership that would shape much of her early life 5.

Bound by Main House etiquette in public, Kiyomi was more open when alone with Mirai. Her curiosity about his silent movement technique and willingness to learn from him reflected her early interest in training and improvement 6 16. During the war, Kiyomi served alongside Mirai and Yuhi Kurenai.
