Hyuga Mirai trained as a medical-nin while navigating the Hyūga Branch Family’s demands, then graduated and formed a squad with Hyuga Kiyomi and Yuhi Kurenai. After advancing through missions and learning the Shadow Clone Technique, the team began a B-rank operation against Iwa-nin, ending with Mirai and his teammates defeating one of their opponents.

• Hyuga Mirai joined Class B, pursued medical training alongside Gentle Fist practice, and accepted guard duty for Hyuga Kiyomi under Hyuga Sosuke’s orders.
• Hyuga Mirai interned at Konoha Hospital, learned Medical Ninjutsu from Doctor Nakano, and discussed the Will of Fire and the Konoha White Fang with Hyuga Kiyomi.
• Hyuga Kiyomi arranged for Hyuga Mirai to graduate with her, and he joined Team 5 with Hyuga Kiyomi and Yuhi Kurenai under Kaminari Kaede.
• The team passed Kaminari Kaede’s assessment, completed D-rank missions, and escorted a merchant caravan through the Grass Country while eliminating an ambush of bandits.
• After returning to Konoha, Hyuga Mirai absorbed Dr. Genus’s memories, pursued laboratory access, and persuaded Kaminari Kaede to teach him the Shadow Clone Technique.

Hyuga Mirai developed Healing Tags, pursued research into the Caged Bird Seal, and used Hashirama Cells to remove the mark and enhance his Byakugan. As war approached, he joined the force at Kikyo Castle and led Hyuga Kiyomi and Yuhi Kurenai on a raid against Sunagakure’s supply route.

• Kaminari Kaede led his squad back to Konoha with a captive, and Hyuga Mirai traded the mission reward for access to Konoha Hospital’s laboratory.
• Hyuga Mirai developed Healing Tags that used Yang Release Chakra to heal wounds, and Sarutobi Hiruzen ordered Konoha to help produce them.
• Hyuga Mirai exchanged his merit for laboratory access and Sealing Techniques, then shared his cell research with Tsunade and pursued a Chunin promotion.
• After receiving his Chunin appointment, Hyuga Mirai began investigating the Caged Bird Seal and traded Perfect Clone Technology to Orochimaru for Ryūchi Cave’s Summoning Scroll and the Spirit Transformation Technique.
• Hyuga Mirai developed and injected a Hashirama-cell treatment that removed the Caged Bird Seal and expanded his Byakugan’s range, while war preparations brought Yuhi Kurenai and Hyuga Kiyomi closer to his side.
• Hyuga Mirai joined the force assigned to Kikyo Castle, where he suspected Hashirama Cells had changed his Byakugan as he scouted the approaching conflict with Sunagakure.
• Hyuga Mirai led Yuhi Kurenai and Hyuga Kiyomi around the main battlefield into the Land of Wind to ambush isolated Sunagakure logistics squads.
• Hyuga Mirai’s Exploding Tag ambush killed ten Suna-nin, and he sealed their bodies before retreating with Yuhi Kurenai and Hyuga Kiyomi.

Hyuga Mirai managed Konoha’s supplies and medical crisis while pursuing his own research and rescuing Uzumaki Ayaka. After obtaining the Star Stone, he powered his Bio-Mechanical Assistant and named it Android 18.

• Hyuga Mirai helped Orochimaru’s forces assault Sandstorm Town, then treated wounded Konoha ninjas and took charge of organizing military supplies.
• Hyuga Mirai sold captured puppets and weapons through the Black Market, used the proceeds to acquire research materials, and rescued Uzumaki Ayaka from Kusagakure ninja.
• Hyuga Mirai trained Uzumaki Ayaka, gave her scrolls and money, and returned to the River Country front as Sunagakure’s assault left Konoha short of antidotes and medical personnel.
• Hyuga Mirai treated Hyuga Kiyomi and Yuhi Kurenai, then developed an antidote for Sunagakure’s new poison and delivered it to the Medical Camp.
• Hyuga Mirai obtained the Star Stone and studied its energy and living properties while his Shadow Clone devised an energy reactor.
• Hyuga Mirai’s Shadow Clones installed the Star Stone Energy Furnace, activated the Bio-Mechanical Assistant, and Hyuga Mirai named it Android 18.

Hyuga Mirai advanced his medical career and learned to enter Sage Mode while expanding the Uzumaki Company and protecting Uzumaki Ayaka from Konoha’s Root. As the war spread into Grass Country, Mirai joined the medical team under Danzo and proved his skill in the field.

• Hyuga Mirai upgraded Android 18, assigned her to find and train Uzumaki Ayaka, and began modifying Purple Snake for Sage Art research.
• Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato traveled back through the past and clashed with Hyuga Kiyomi and Yuhi Kurenai before Namikaze Minato intervened.
• Hyuga Mirai told Orochimaru that the three visitors came from the future and warned that they knew the two would become Rogue ninja.
• Hyuga Mirai was promoted to Medical Jonin, trained under three-times gravity, and began practicing the Spirit Transformation Technique.
• Hyuga Mirai and Android 18 grew the Uzumaki Company, while Mirai learned to absorb Natural Energy and enter Sage Mode.
• Uzumaki Kushina asked Uzumaki Ayaka to join Konoha, but Ayaka refused and reaffirmed her goal of rebuilding Whirlpool Country.
• Hyuga Mirai ordered Android 18 to use Root’s attempt to seize Ayaka to provoke a conflict, and Ayaka secretly killed Yasunori during the attack.
• Hyuga Mirai joined Danzo’s medical team for the Grass Country campaign as Danzo’s disguised attacks pushed Kusagakure into an alliance with Konoha, while Mirai earned praise for his surgery.
