Hyuga Mirai expanded the Saudi Federation’s ties with Amegakure while navigating the Uchiha Clan’s growing conflict with Konoha. After Mirai and Uzumaki Ayaka attacked Kushina and escaped, Konoha searched the Uchiha compound as Kushina remained under treatment.

• Jiraiya infiltrated Sunagakure to question Yasunori Sakai, but Hyuga Mirai, Orochimaru, and Sasori caught him, and Mirai killed him and Sage Fukasaku.
• The Yasunori Trading Company proposed improving Rain Country’s climate, and Konan agreed to cooperate with the Saudi Federation on redevelopment.
• Uchiha Tekka escorted Yasunori Sakai and learned of the federation’s plans, while Uchiha Fugaku weighed the clan’s future and Shisui investigated its ties to the trading company.
• Hyuga Mirai disguised himself as Yasunori Sakai and invited Fugaku to bring the Uchiha Clan into the Saudi Federation, but Fugaku did not accept.
• Mirai and Uzumaki Ayaka secretly visited Kushina, where Mirai explained Naruto’s altered personality and urged Kushina to leave Konoha with him.
• Mirai planted a Curse Mark in Kushina, and Ayaka fought off Anbu as they escaped, and Mirai then broke free of Yuhi Kurenai’s illusion and incapacitated her.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen allowed Anbu to search the Uchiha compound, but defended Fugaku and asked the clan to help track Mirai.
• Kimura told Naruto that Kushina was stable, then discovered her body was recovering rapidly despite her unsuppressed Curse Mark.

As the Saudi Federation prepared for war with Konoha, Root’s attack on the Uchiha evacuation agreement set off the clan’s coup and Itachi’s massacre. The fighting ended with Hyuga Mirai taking Kushina and Naruto away from Konoha, while the Uchiha crisis remained unresolved.

• Kushina confronted Konoha’s leaders over Naruto’s leaked identity and stopped Danzo from taking him for Root, while Amegakure and the Saudi Federation made plans for trade and development.
• Ōnoki secured Iwagakure’s support for a campaign against the Saudi Federation, and Konoha prepared its own forces as the Hyūga Clan debated its role.
• Pain ordered Akatsuki to assassinate the Land of Wind’s Daimyo, while Fugaku moved toward a coup and Shisui offered to use Kotoamatsukami to change his mind.
• Danzo attacked Shisui and took his right eye, and Shisui killed himself, and Itachi then agreed with Obito to help destroy the Uchiha Clan.
• Sakai arranged an agreement to evacuate ordinary Uchiha to the Saudi Federation, but Root ambushed the meeting and poisoned him, prompting Pakura to honor the agreement and declare war on Konoha.
• As Sasori began evacuating Uchiha clansmen by airship, Itachi and Obito attacked the clan, and Hyuga Mirai intervened, but Itachi summoned Root and Anbu to the compound.
• Danzo sent Root after Kushina and Naruto while Konoha forces attacked the Uchiha, and Fugaku’s Susanoo struck back, and Kushina fought Root to reach Naruto.
• Fugaku and Tekka restrained Naruto after he entered a tailed-beast state, but Mirai healed Kushina, suppressed Naruto’s Nine-Tails chakra, and agreed to take them from Konoha as Kushina joined the Saudi Federation.

Hyuga Mirai helped the Uchiha survive Danzo’s purge and join the Saudi Federation, while Konoha struggled to restore its leadership and the war with Amegakure escalated. The arc left Tsunade in power, the surviving Uchiha settling into the Federation, and Kimimaro taking control of Root as the commanders prepared to confront Pain.

• Hyuga Mirai exposed Itachi’s massacre, helped the Uchiha escape Konoha’s forces, and forced the village to let the clan leave after Kakashi executed Itachi.
• The Uchiha survivors, Kushina, and Naruto joined the Saudi Federation, while Hiruzen moved against Danzo and sought Tsunade to become Hokage.
• Tsunade returned to Konoha as Fifth Hokage, and Hyuga Kiyomi’s squad captured Biwa Juzo and discovered that Amegakure was preparing for war under Pain.
• Nagato sent Pain’s Six Paths against the Iwa-nin, and Deva Path Pain’s Shinra Tensei devastated their forces before Kitsuchi held him back so Ōnoki and the survivors could escape.
• Mirai brought Kushina and Naruto to the Federation, where Naruto learned Sasuke would attend its Ninja Academy, while Mikoto revealed that Fugaku had died by suicide and entrusted Mirai with his body and Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Hiruzen, Ōnoki, and the other commanders planned an attack on Pain, assigning Kiyomi and Keita to observe him and preparing their forces with medical support.
• Kimimaro took Tsunade’s appointment to Root and fought his way through its base, killing twenty-one Root members before Shinnosuke agreed to lend him Anbu personnel to take over.

Tsunade faced Nagato’s attack in Rain Country, then withdrew Konoha and pursued peace while reshaping the village’s leadership. Hyuga Kiyomi took control of the Hyuga Clan, and Hyuga Mirai expanded his research as Konoha and the Saudi Federation began drafting a treaty.

• Kimimaro took control of Root, while Tsunade rejected Danzo and Mitokado Homura’s objections and ordered them escorted from the Hokage Tower.
• Hyuga Mirai helped Uchiha Mikoto awaken her Mangekyō Sharingan, and she tested her new abilities with him and the Uzumaki women.
• Tsunade sent Konoha forces to confront Nagato in Rain Country, where the Six Paths of Pain battled Konoha and Iwa’s alliance before Nagato summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Tsunade used Wood Release against the statue, but Nagato overwhelmed her until Hyuga Mirai’s Spiritualization Clone wounded him and forced him to retreat with Konan.
• Tsunade ordered Konoha to withdraw from Rain Country and began negotiating peace, while Hyuga Mirai took a fragment of the Demonic Statue to study and cultivate a God Tree.
• Hyuga Kiyomi challenged Hyuga Hiashi for clan leadership, defeated him and the elders in a duel, and became the new head of the Hyuga Clan.
• Tsunade and Yakushi Kabuto prepared to offer Danzo to the Saudi Federation, while Hyuga Mirai collected Tailed Beast Chakra and developed a bracelet that produced Kushina’s Adamantine Sealing Chains.
• Nara Shikaku offered Danzo to Pakura during peace talks, and Pakura required River Country to become neutral territory before the sides began drafting a treaty.
