On the way back, Garling asked, "Gigue, how long are you planning to stay in Mary Geoise this time?"
Gigue thought for a moment before replying, "If Uncle Garling doesn't have anything else for me to do, I'll probably leave tomorrow."
"You brat, you're planning to leave right after taking what you wanted?"
"Uh, Uncle Garling, don't tell me you can't bear to see me go?"

The sword at Garling's waist slid partway from its sheath, revealing a blade that gleamed coldly. Gigue was utterly unfazed. With both hands behind his head, he turned to Lucia and said, "Lucia, you're coming with me when I leave."
Joy appeared on Lucia's face. The moment she had heard Gigue say he was leaving, anxiety had begun to gnaw at her. Hearing this, she immediately breathed a huge sigh of relief.
She nodded vigorously and said, "As long as Young Master is willing, Lucia will follow you wherever you go!"
Gigue smiled faintly and, ignoring Garling's increasingly dark expression, said, "Uncle Garling, I'll also need you to have the World Government fabricate a reasonable identity for Lucia. I want her to attend the Marine Academy too."
Garling nearly laughed from anger. He said irritably, "Are you training at the Marine Academy or enjoying yourself? Want me to arrange for her to share a dorm room with you too?"
"That won't be necessary. I'm not staying in a single dormitory, so it wouldn't be convenient for Lucia to live with me."
A large vein bulged on Garling's forehead. He turned his head away and said flatly, "I'm not handling this. Figure it out yourself."
"Come on, Uncle Garling. Not many people within the World Government know me yet. My words don't carry as much weight as yours."
"Have you forgotten about that Spandine?
