Of the Five Kage, Kazekage Rasa had the weakest presence. He sat properly in his chair, looking more like an observer at the meeting than anything else.

There was no helping it. Sunagakure was universally acknowledged as the weakest of the five great ninja villages, and Rasa had little say to begin with, so he simply chose to fade into the background. He was even thinking about how to lead his side away in a reasonable manner if a fight really broke out later.

Gigue had no interest in paying Rasa any attention. Looking at Mei Terumi, who had been staring at him the whole time, he smiled and said,

"Meeting again. Are you here to discuss how to deal with me too?"

Mei Terumi answered this question far more frankly than Ōnoki and the others had. She pressed her alluring red lips together and said,
